Why is Cam 2 over to the right shooting from behind the basket? What is the advantage of putting it there?

Likely because it is working the wider shot, for more of an analysis/tele look rather than the tight ball follow that a center court camera 2 would shoot. You see a good example at 23:06. Generally this would be the 5th camera position for an ESPN show, but there could've been a storyline or venue limitation for putting the camera up there on a 4 camera show.
