This movie was only X-Men adjacent, but ATJ is the perfect casting for magik. Possibly one of the best casting choices ever.

I LOVE how in recent years some super hero movies have been allowed to be genres other than action, that happen to star super heros! This is why comics are loved!
Always thought this film was waaayyyy underrated and that Anya Taylor-Joy was a PERFECT Illyana/Magik

@vampirascoffin870 Agreed! But that doesn't mean you can't appreciate the cinematography, acting, cgi, or casting. Most movies have flaws but that shouldn't stop you from appreciating them.

the casting was really well done
They aged out of these rolls before the release. They talked about this a lot right before the release.

I agree the movie is not bad, I like all the characters, even Magik and Mirage, plus the movie is better than Dark Phoenix, and I would like to see all the characters in deadpool 3 and come to the MCU.

Magik has such a good and spooky definitely a story line we need to see
No one can deny this freaking movie has an exceptional cast and pretty good directing.
I'm one of the lucky few who actually enjoyed the film and really hope we see these characters again someday. Especially Ana T. JOY❤

Everyone talks about ATJ but Maisie WIlliams was even better as Wolfsbane in it if you ask me.
Imagine how good this could have been if Boone had been allowed to finish it properly. I would be really happy if we could see this cast again as X-Force.
I would love to see this cast continue especially Magik.

We got a Magik cameo in X-MEN ‘97 so that means we will get Magik in the MCU live action? I hope so.
I love this movie so much. I think it's my favorite of the X-Men movies.
Mutant X was not given a chance. I am so glad that it’s to be honest with you that it’s available to stream because I definitely think it’s gonna find its audience. I didn’t, but the characters are awesome they did it. They did a good job also once again as long as the studios, don’t keep sticking my hands and stuff it probably would’ve been one of the better ones to date.
Even before the making of this movie, when people found out that Anya would play as Magik, that hyped up people into watching this movie. And seeing a horror-theme Marvel movie is interesting. This is perhaps one of my favorite Marvel movie, the others on the top of my lists are "Days of Future Past" and "Endgame" because of time travel. I just wished they have also made this Horror Theme in the Marvel special "Werewolf by Night".

I was so excited for this film when I saw the first trailer and was completely saddened when I saw what kind of mess was shat out.
The Cherokee have a similar story to the Bears but with wolves instead.

I'm fond of this movie and still put it on pretty often. With the setting being a medical ward that has psych ward feel, all you care about are the characters presented. There are no "save the world" elements. All the characters are tragic. I've been in and out of psych wards when I was younger and the setting gives me some nostalgia. Probably odd to say... Lol...

Well you could also watch all of the MCU in about a week if you binge the movies.
Love every xmen when watching them takes me back to a little watching then again it was fun seeing and getting all the hidden details!

I would love a spin off from X-men ‘97 with these characters. They can focus on Mirage and Cannonball as the main characters.

Yep, but I wouldn't even say colorism. That would mean they still cast Afro-Latinos, which is not the case. Both Cecilia and Roberto whitewashed in the same film is crazy. Not to talk of Josh Boone's antiblack reasoning behind Henry Zaga's casting

This is a fine comic book film with a cool tone and ideas. Joy nailed it and Hope Magik comes back for Deadpool And Wolverine. Excited for Deadpool And Wolverine and hope to get McKellen's Magneto, Stewart's Xavier, OB And Peters' Quicksilver.
I want them to continue this trilogy

Warlock was supposed to be in the sequel, which was supposed to be cosmic horror, and the second sequel was supposed to have the father of sunspot. Antonio Banderas was supposed to play dad.

We definitely need more Magik! I waited so long to watch this movie and was honestly surprised how good it was.
18:34 Making Halle Berry Storm and X2’s movie canon computer scene about the kids that Stryker targeted but maybe hadn't gotten for Sinister yet, in Origins, or had hit Massachusetts, until he came to the mansion for them in X2, collecting kids isn't just what Mr.Sinister does but what he has people to do, hence Jack the Ripper.

TNM was one of my fav, love how these characters are portrayed, the darks offset with the awesome looking powers, would love to see all of them brought into the MCU

I actually loved this movie
The wolfdog "Chuck" also appeared in the 2018 film, "Alpha". Which starred Kodi Smit-McPhee, who played the young Nightcrawler in Apocalypse and Dark Pheonix.
Seen the powers were cool I’m not gonna lie, but I was really hoping for a real horror movie especially after seeing the trailer
Would love to see a Mike Flanagan treatment of the original idea. Not to say Josh Boon can’t do it, but Flanagan has such an eye for interpersonal drama masquerading as horror.

Right this moment I thought to myself what if Johnny Cochran put a blow dryer on the leather glove before having OJ try it on. Did a google and it turns out you can shrink a glove that way. I know this has nothing to do with the video but I just couldn't leave it unsaid.

I just came back after 2 years and wow this channel blew up.
I saw this movie at a drive-in. It was an awesome experience.
This film is in the middle of my list. It’s a lot better than Last Stand, Age of Apocalypse, Wolverine: Origins, and the Dark Phoenix.
It REALLY wasn't a bad movie. Not great but unique. Definitely better then Dark Phoenix or Apocalypse for me.
Also...HUSH... has scarred me for life. I can't stand silence because of it. 😂

I just watched the film for first time as part of my fox xmen marathon before deadpool 3 (i'm also including episode 5 of loki on the marathon as it's center on the void)
Horror is not my genre but i ended up liking the film, was pretty solid
They should bring this back

I hope they still cast him as sinister but also you don't know that we're not going to get the goblin queen ark they still might pull it we don't know how they're going to twist this
