My idea of the Madame Web movie was an elaborate chess game between elderly master clairvoyant Cassandra Web (perhaps bringing the OG Aunt May, Rosemary Harris) and Master Weaver over the future of the spiderverse. Both sides would have their "field agents": Julia Carpenter (Daktora Johnson) who also trains as Cassandra successor, and Ben Reilly. The idea of other people destined to receive spider-powers would be a good plot point, as Master Weaver wants to prevent the emergence of spider totems and the ultimate rise of the greatest of them all: Peter Parker. Perhaps Ben would switch sides mid-way or something, but the idea of the movie being one big plan with so many contingencies and shifts really speaks to me when making a clairvoyant character the star of the movie. Another idea was for Cassandra and Julia's side to be losing the battles against MW but give it a slightly open ending. Then, it would lead into a post-credits scene with Julia releasing the spider that would bite Peter Parker as a last-ditch effort.

In all honesty I don’t really trust critic scores because more often then not they’re just overly biased especially when it comes to super hero type films, and a part of me honestly feels like majority of critics that watch superhero movies aren’t even going to it because they enjoy the characters, which I mean if I’m gonna listen to someone pick apart a movie then they best be a fan and know what they’re talking about instead of some person just doing it because it’s their job
The fact that they had so much potential with three amazing cool spider-women as the main characters and wasted ALL of that potential by not having them actually be spider-women in the movie fascinates me😅

00:38 good that they didn't waste their money 'CGI' ing his mouth 😅
A big 1 out of 10. 🚮
•The actresses were bad
•the lines were bad
•the "villian" was terrible
• the story is bad
•the action is bad
This was a disgrace to the Spiderman franchise!! Could not believe they approved of this movie and released it! 🤦🏽♂️🚮
Rest in peace, Joan Lee. (Original Voice of Madam Web)
You guys had to sit through this entire movie? Kudos to you for the sacrifices that you guys have to make to put out content like this.
I recommend watching the movie
ignore negative reviews. it wasn't that bad.
i enjoyed the movie, it was surprisingly well minus a few parts, but all in all a fairly good movie
we are now enemies
I liked Namor’s introduction
In all honesty I don’t really trust critic scores because more often then not they’re just overly biased especially when it comes to super hero type films, and a part of me honestly feels like majority of critics that watch superhero movies aren’t even going to it because they enjoy the characters, which I mean if I’m gonna listen to someone pick apart a movie then they best be a fan and know what they’re talking about instead of some person just doing it because it’s their job
hangry has been a thing forever
Totally used hangry back in 2002.
The movie looks like a high school kid graduate project
These 2 are a riot together!
Agree I’m glad they both did it
Thank you for watching the movie and breaking it down for me so I didn’t have to waste my money. I appreciate y’all
I was hoping Ezekiel would turn out to be Shathra and they could have Morlun as well, but I guess that's expecting too much.
Love your energy together! This was so entertaining!
The fact that they had so much potential with three amazing cool spider-women as the main characters and wasted ALL of that potential by not having them actually be spider-women in the movie fascinates me😅
