When Juggernaut appeared during the train fight scene, I immeadiately knew they all will lose & the fight would be over. This guy just one punched the bridge & EVERYTHING was destroyed. He is also the reason why the main trio had no weapons to fight anymore after defeating all 3 of them in a 3v1 fight & still won with almost no difficulty. Losing their weapons rose stakes for the final act. Take note that while Colosuss held off Juggernaut in a certain amount of time, it also took 3 people to defeat him (and he still didn't die). Man fought a total of 6 overpowered people (a time travelling soldier, an experienced immortal mercenary, a mutant whose ability is pure luck, a renowned X-Man who is almost his size & strength, a child who can emit extremely powerful explosions and a skilled woman who can slightly see the future), and still almost won. You underrated just wanna say. Was watching some of your videos, thinkin' it's some large TH-camr, checked and saw the 9k sub count. You deserve way more tbh.
Don't rate Logan again, sir. Your criticism 32:57 is primarily nitpicky and doesn't address the actual problems with the film; rather, it's a kind of "my ideal movie " type of critique where you just bring up the aspects of the film you dont like, you see those nitpicks as flaws of the movie ,dude ,just because Logan doesn't fit your description, doesnt mean its bad... your way of reviewing movies is really dumb. Thats not reviewing film ,thats just nitpicking, the stuff you dont like are not actual flaws of the film. Hell, the movie was clearly not aiming for fun superhero movie, the opening is literally evidence of that, then why are you wanting it to be "fun" superhero film, watch the movie as its own thing dude, the movie wasn't even called x-men, why do you do want it to be a team up movie where everybody standing triumph. If anything, we should applaud Logan for not putting those elements, like it has no flashy clothes, no cameo, no crazy CG, no team up, no jokes, etc., yet it's still a good movie without relying on any of those aspects, therefore its a well balance of comicbook and cinema, the best superhero movie in my eye.
Buddy, this is a tier list made by an individual, not some universal truth of how good movies are. Logan has a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes, which implies 7% of people who watched it didn't like it. The fact that the guy who made this video didn't like the movie as much as you does not invalidate your opinion, nor does it give you permission to tear into his. As for an X-Men tier list, I kind of agree that it's probably the best movie on the list, but it's not that great of an X-Men story. And if you feel differently, you can always make your own tier list.
17:48 she felt like a different character because in the original trilogy, Mystique didn't even have a character. She just mirrored everything Magneto believed. Jennifer Lawrence was the first time the character had any individually.
I also think Angel's line about the way people look at her is good. And it's interesting. It shows depth. She's not saying it's good, she's saying it's surprisingly preferable for her to be objectified, then to be judged.
I think one of the ideas in Logan is that even though they time traveled to stop mutant extinction, it's one of the things in their universe where it's meant to happen, the mutants were meant to die
S: Logan, Days of Future Past A: First Class, Deadpool, Deadpool 2, Deadpool & Wolverine B: X-Men, X2 C: Wolverine D: Apocalypse, The Last Stand F: Wolverine: Origins Hell: Dark Phoenix, New Mutants
I liked how they introduced Oscar Isaac as "the body" at the beginning of Apocalypse. In retrospect, perhaps seeing a glimpse of Apocalypse in full, comic accurate makeup at the beginning and then allowing Isaac to act as himself for the duration of the film after he is reawakened would have been a better creative choice, and made him more menacing and memorable.

22:40 the comment about endgames time travel not making sense is nonsense, time travel is a mere theory and it depends on which form of time travel effects you believe in. Every change you make in the past creating a new timeline is just as plausible as there being only one timeline that changes depending on what you alter in the past
Apocalypse is underrated IMO. It has tons of depth, the villain is evil because he is and we don't need an explanation for it. He's like X-Men's version of Satan. Evil because he is. Nice to have a break from complexity and to just enjoy it. Fun action, great Logan tease, great score, Quicksilver is great and Magento is terrific. Can't complain.
My question is WHERE WAS SABRETOOTH AFTER THE FIRST X MEN FILM maybe In the void but still I think they wasted him in the first film he is meant to be Wolverine’s archenemy
Logan is the comic book movie with a nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay. It's something Dark Knight and Black Panther never did and that's saying a lot.
I find this list solid, I agree with most of the scores. I also don’t like the way the comment section is saying don’t let this man cook all because their favourite x men film is a lower tier than they thought it was going to be. To the people hating on nick, remember this list is his opinion not yours.
X men Origins: Wolverine has such a rich story and the acting of most of the characters was absolutely on point. Liev Schreiber played the best Sabretooth possible. I understand that the graphics of the movie were not the best, same goes for "The Pool" the ultimate weapon but that's the point, it wasn't complete. At the least this movie deserves a B tier. It's such a shame that due to some not up to the par graphics you'd put such a movie in such a low tier. Also it's insane to see that X men: First Class is in B tier and X2 is an S tier, that definitely could be swapped.
I have never watched the original trilogy until I finally got into my 20s. But everything from X-Men origins Wolverine is just pure nostalgia for me. 😅
With Blade in it it's 26 years of Marvel superhero movies, and Blade's landing in the first film is now a standard trope highlighted in Deadpool. The 4 S tier films are (in no particular order) Logan and the 3 Deadpool movies. Not one other in franchise matches the [non-X-men] modern Marvel super-hero progenitor film "Blade".
S tier Logan, Deadpool and Deadpool and wolverine, days of future past A tier x2, x men first class, Deadpool 2 B tier X-Men, the wolverine and X-Men apocalypse C tier x men last stand D tier new mutants and X-Men dark Phoenix F tier origins wolverine
Logan being the last x men movie is the most fitting in my opinion, X men 2000 started by introducing rogue and wolverine and ending it with wolverine. Wolverine was obviously the most focused on x men in the movies and he was also known as a survivor. Logan shows the end of his story, since hes immortal, everyone else should be dead. Its the most suitable end.
ngl i fw the romance between jean and logan, i think they did need to develop it more in the movies but its so much more fitting it being logan then it being scott due to the whole phoenix thing in the last stand
I haven’t ever seen Logan so I’m not pressed about the ranking but I grew up watching the latter half of the X-Men movies so just about all of them are good to me (including origins & apocalypse)
I think X1 does fantastic job at showing these characters and relations between them with a very good comic-accuracy blended with more toned-down live-action suiting sensibility, thanks to directing really quite subtle for this type of movie. It was just perfect live-action x-men for comic fans as well as general audiences. Also First Class is the best x-men movie.
Last stand and Spider-Man 3 are why they had to shelf and rethink both franchises for so long because as you said they slammed 12 comic book plots into a 120 minute movie and what you was cluster .....
My list Logan Deadpool and wolverine Days of future past First class Deadpool 2 X-2 Deadpool Wolverine Apocalypse X-men Last stand New mutants Origins Wolverine Dark phoenix
I love x men origins, its the film that got me into superheroes and is why I love wolverine. As a kid, I didn't see any flaws, I just saw wolverine being a badass, so it will always be a special film for me personally.
Even tho I haven’t really seen the Theatrical cut of Deadpool 2, I only watched the first half, but I’m just so use to the Extended cut. I really liked the montage where Deadpool tried to kill himself
I 100% agree with your ranking of all these movies.I've never seen New Mutants I was kind of checked out by then. wasn't really interested mostly, because they kept delaying it and by the time they released it I didn't care anymore, but when Deadpool and Wolverine their movie came out we seen it opening day and it was just awesome. it really made up for Wolverine X-Men origins it gave us the Deadpool that we deserved And Wolverine in his costume
saw logan in mid tier in the thumbnail and thought this guy was trolling...but i agree with your point. in fact when i watches it with my family i told them that we were gonna watch logan as its own thing and different timeline. and we finished with Days of future past. i told them that logan woulda been the end and they thanked me lmao
Don’t know why I am watching a video of a dolphin wearing a chef’s hat, but I am captivated. Unfortunately, Jean Grey is my favorite character in comics, cartoons, and everywhere, so I have a special gripe for the Last Stand out of purely being a Jean fan. X2 still among my favorites. Edit: Also, Emma Frost is my second favorite, so I have a special gripe against First Class for how she is relegated to just a rando minion.
I get that that the x men could have ended in a happy ending but damn the Logan film hit hard for me and it became one of my favourite superhero movies of all time, it’s a sad ending for the x men yes but I wouldn’t change anything about that movie.
I myself put Deadpool2 in B tier, X-Men in A tier, Last Stand in D tier and lastly Logan in S tier, everything else I either agree or don't personally care too much. Gooc video.

Ngl, I feel the same way about Logan tho. While it's a great film on its own, it does ruin the finale Days of Future Past left on (since Logan was going off of the revised X-Men Timeline). Cause I kept thinking "what's the point of changing the past to prevent a dark future, only for the majority of X-Men to die just years later in this new timeline?". Solid ranking still.
Me personally the tier list is not that bad but the fact he put Deadpool 2 higher than Deadpool and Wolverine is crazy other than that pretty good tier list
This list is almost perfect, I think Logan and deadpool and wolverine should be s tier, and honestly I really like x-men apocalypse I would put it in at least b tier no cap if I wasn’t being objective I would put it in a tier but that’s just my opinion

Top Tier: X-Men Days of Future Past, Logan, X2, Deadpool
Excellent: X-Men First Class, Deadpool and Wolverine, X-Men Apocalypse (Yes, i said it)
Very Good: X-Men, The Wolverine, Deadpool 2
Good: X-Men 3: First Class
Okay: X-Men Origins: Wolverine, X-Men Dark Phoenix
Bad: The New Mutants
i think X Men 1 is kinda under rated its good until the end where it looks like they ran out of money for FX.
I agree with this list except for one placing: Logan. It should easily stand atop all the others.
X-Men 1 in C with last stand is an ABOMINATION
Logan is the greatest Marvel film ever made
Saying that when the spider verse movies and Endgame exist is crazy
@@Prebuilt_Room901and infinity war, guardians movies. So much more.

@@chilyo7458 debateable

35:22 I think the whole point of the movie is that the mutant kind isn’t dead and theres always hope no matter how much tragedy and trauma a person or people goes through.
You underrated just wanna say. Was watching some of your videos, thinkin' it's some large TH-camr, checked and saw the 9k sub count. You deserve way more tbh.
Thank you!

Most people were click baited by your "deadpool bad" thumbnail.
not a good tier list but i respect how well made this video is
its a crime not to put logan in s tier
I think one of the ideas in Logan is that even though they time traveled to stop mutant extinction, it's one of the things in their universe where it's meant to happen, the mutants were meant to die
S: Logan, Days of Future Past
A: First Class, Deadpool, Deadpool 2, Deadpool & Wolverine
B: X-Men, X2
C: Wolverine
D: Apocalypse, The Last Stand
F: Wolverine: Origins
Hell: Dark Phoenix, New Mutants
I liked how they introduced Oscar Isaac as "the body" at the beginning of Apocalypse. In retrospect, perhaps seeing a glimpse of Apocalypse in full, comic accurate makeup at the beginning and then allowing Isaac to act as himself for the duration of the film after he is reawakened would have been a better creative choice, and made him more menacing and memorable.
Bruh.

No way bro didn't put Logan in s tier sure it wasn't as cool as some of the other X Men films but I deserves S Teir
It's a hell of a lot better than all the Xmen movies that don't have "Deadpool" in the title. It did what Christopher Nolan did to the Bat to a Marvel film, the closest any other Marvel film came to being [why] so serious was in the very first Marvel film "Blade".
Hot take, I like X-Men Origins : Wolverine. Yeah it has it's problems but it's one of my guilty pleasure movies that never bores me.

Deadpool 2- S Tier “ARE YOU SERIOUS! Ok….”
Deadpool and Wolverine- A Tier “……..”
Puting any X-MEN Movie above Logan should be illegal.
Bro logan is good yeah but they did the x men dirty in that movie, it's like watching all your best heroes finally get a really good ending in "days of the future" just to be ruined in "Logan" in a horrible way especially how they made the professor kill them 😭
I personally liked First Class and Days of Future Past more. Logan is definitely a masterpiece though and that’s undeniable.

22:40 the comment about endgames time travel not making sense is nonsense, time travel is a mere theory and it depends on which form of time travel effects you believe in. He committed a crime by putting deadpool and Wolverine in A tier
The crime was Logan being in A tier instead of S tier!
@@missingbuck also that I just forgot a couple things
Deadpool and Wolverine for my opinion is the best x men movie i've ever watch
Bro, Logan is the best x - men film, and you put DEADPOOL 2 ahead of it and not putting Logan in S tier is crazy
@Another Nick, have you ranked the MCU yet? I'm curious on your takes on them
X men Origins: Wolverine has such a rich story and the acting of most of the characters was absolutely on point.
Hot take: I was more entertained by Dark Phoenix than Apocalypse
I completely get that. Dark Phoenix has some fire scenes and Apocalypse is a bit of a slog.
S tier Logan, Deadpool and Deadpool and wolverine, days of future past
A tier x2, x men first class, Deadpool 2
B tier X-Men, the wolverine and X-Men apocalypse
C tier x men last stand
D tier new mutants and X-Men dark Phoenix
F tier origins wolverine
12:11 And if Wolverine claws aren't in the budget you can put 3 butter knives between your fingers.
Logan and the Deadpool movies carry the x-man mcu
ngl i fw the romance between jean and logan, i think they did need to develop it more in the movies but its so much more fitting it being logan then it being scott due to the whole phoenix thing in the last stand
12:43 bro is legally blind, the only reason she used logan is to save her sister. I think also she is the one that gave Logan the wolverine persona
I haven’t ever seen Logan so I’m not pressed about the ranking but I grew up watching the latter half of the X-Men movies so just about all of them are good to me (including origins & apocalypse)
TH-cam should make a law that not everyone should make a youtube channel
Logan is probably the best, with First Class being my personal favorite and Days of Future Past rounding out the top 3
Cool video, nice tier list - keep them coming :)
18:13: you forgot the “the mutants are right through there, let us go” line during Shaws attack on the base
The only two I'd switch is the new mutants in Logan Logan and the new mutants will both be an s tier
I agree with this tier list except for the fact that Logan should be in S
I’m not the only one who prefers deadpool 2 to deadpool 1
I like the first one, it's so Y2K in vibe and remember that it was released before any mcu and spider man movie
No one let bro cook again
X-Men Origins did bring us an amazing score though. "Logan Through Time" is top tier. And of course it eventually got us Reynolds as Deadpool
Who let this man near a list
My list
Logan
Deadpool and wolverine
Days of future past
First class
Deadpool 2
X-2
Deadpool
Wolverine
Apocalypse
X-men
Last stand
New mutants
Origins Wolverine
Dark phoenix
Deadpool & Wolverine is NOT better than DOFP, or the previous deadpool movies.
I think we're living in the worse timeline where we got The New Mutants instead of the Gambit movie.
saw logan in mid tier in the thumbnail and thought this guy was trolling...but i agree with your point. in fact when i watches it with my family i told them that we were gonna watch logan as its own thing and different timeline. and we finished with Days of future past. i told them that logan woulda been the end and they thanked me lmao
TRUE. Emma was wasted in First Class. She's such a cool character in the comics. Wasted potential.

Logan is S tier
Idc what anyone says I loved origins. And Sabertooth i thought was amazing
Me personally the tier list is not that bad but the fact he put Deadpool 2 higher than Deadpool and Wolverine is crazy other than that pretty good tier list
How is it crazy? Deadpoom 2 was the best of the trilogy. It actually took consequences seriously
This list is almost perfect, I think Logan and deadpool and wolverine should be s tier, and honestly I really like x-men apocalypse I would put it in at least b tier no cap if I wasn’t being objective I would put it in a tier but that’s just my opinion
I haven't seen all of the films yet, but my top three is:
Days of Future Past
First Class
Deadpool & Wolverine
All good choices.
Woah woah woah, love the vid....but i got to say the first xmen is very memorable to me and i feel like a lot of people who grew up with the xmen movies
Yeah. I think I'm in the minority when it comes to the original X-Men movie. Maybe I'd enjoy it more if I saw it before X2, but even as a kid I just never wanted to watch the original one.
