Hector, I just gotta say that IM LOVING SEEING YOU REACT to the songs of my childhood!!! My mom played Etta all the time and it's ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL watching you get the feeling down in your soul like I did and still do!!
Great reaction! I was laughing hard at the part when you rewatched a section 3 times proceeded by fuk offf and was hype everytime😂, I always did the same at that part , enjoyed it brutha
"Her fucking voice" about sums it up, lol. Sublime. And dude, if you want your mind blown again, listen to Eva Cassidy's song, Blues in the Night. Un-fucking believable.
I saw Etta at the Ryman Auditorium here in Nashville about 3 months before she died. She was in a wheelchair for 98 per cent of the concert but her voice was strong and clear. THE other 2 per cent Etta got up from that chair and did some nasty funky twist and turns with her hips as though she was 21....lol...Great concert !...Peace Out..."70"....
Thank you for always sprinkling your joy and enthusiasm. I haven’t been back in a while. I find myself checking and scrolling to see if you’ve listened to Janis Joplin-Cry Baby and Boston Foreplay/Longtime so that I can feel those goosebumps you hold up to the camera. I know the goosies are there even though the camera doesn’t pick them up, it’s your joy that sends them through the wires and as always I thank you for that. Anyway, one day I’ll be back and I’ll be shocked if you haven’t been blown away by Cry Baby and Foreplay once they make it up to the top of your very long list. Cheers!
Etta James and Aretha Franklin, that is some good singing there. Here is a like and comment to help your channel grow and get you the recognition you deserve.
Etta is a gem!! If you haven't yet, 'At Last', & 'Hootchie Cootchie Gal'. 2 different styles, all Etta. Love your channel. Haters can go... well, you say it better.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.... Beth Hart - Am I the One Live at the Paradiso! th-cam.com/video/5Ro191bgp7k/w-d-xo.html This Woman is UNREAL! She has suffered All her life from bipolar disorder but that hasn't stopped her from being the most incredible singer you've ever FELT with YOUR Soul, because she delivers from HER Soul!
If I could suggest a song that will BLOW your absolute mind; the cover of “these arms of mine” by Ben l’oncle.. it’s one of those goosies, straight up transported, once in a lifetime kind of live performances. He’s a French artist, and the soul is out of this world.
I love your music reaction videos and have a few suggestions. First, Joe Bonamassa's "Going Down". This video is a physical manifestation of your ADHD. Then, Joe Bonamassa and Beth Hart. "I'll take care of you". The Blues will heal your soul! Finally, Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion, "Tell Him". I haven't seen anything like it in your play list and I would love to see your reaction. Your enthusiasm is wonderful to experience and to share. Thank you.
I really can't wait until you react to Teddy Pendergrass -Love T.K.O Any Al Green preferably- Look what you've done to me Call me Let's stay together (long version) Still in love
Still not her signature song. Saying that is not putting down this song. It’s simply pointing out you still have her greatest performance ahead of you to listen to. At Last At Last At Last At Last fucking AT LAST!
You can tell how much Hector is affected by if he leans back so far he disappears, and the amount of times he says "fuck off" 😂

Try Koko Taylor, Chicago blues singer with a voice that could tear down a brick wall. The Muddy Waters Band backed her up too.
Absolutely. I saw her perform at Blues Fest in Grant Park in Chicago back in the 80’s. Koko is amazing.
