Aretha Franklin was a real OG in the industry. Nobody tried her disrespected her (she grew up in the raw streets of Detroit) ..she always got paid in cash money she didnt trust nobody's checks...The FBI was tracking her for 50 years because she was one of the frontrunners in African American Civil Rights movement.... Aretha "ReRe" Franklin is the Queen

A child prodigy who was singing and playing piano by the age of 6, she cut her first record at 14. Aretha's brilliant vocal interpretations and full-chested high notes are incomparable. Her contributions to our musical landscape cannot be overstated. #AlwaysAmazingAretha ⭐🎶⭐🎵⭐

FYI... Aretha was a huge part of the Civil Rights Movement with Dr King. She'd have concerts to raise money to keep the movement going. In fact she was such a huge part of financing for the movement that the FBI had her phones tapped up until about a year or so before she died. Up until her death she was still sending money to Rev. Al Sharpton. The UE government looked at her as a threat for decades because of her ability to raise so much money to finance Dr King and other civil rights leaders.
