I can't believe it has been eight years! I was 6 when it came out! And there is a sequel. It's Big Hero 6 : the series. It's pretty good. And I heard that Disney is making a new series after this one, called 'Baymax'! Yay! I really hope Tadashi is alive or at least we can learn more about him in the new series. +okay, the series is not that good but I do like to watch There are somethings I like about it such as hiro's weapons

@@cooldude2255 If you didn't know, Big Hero 6 is based on a comic book by marvel, and each character in the movie is a spin-off from the original characters in the comics and Tadashi is based on Sunfire. Sunfire can manipulate flames and heat and as you know Tadashi supposedly died in a fire, there are SO many inventions and chemicals in the building where he died so it wouldn't be far-fetched if he survived through some crazy chemical accident. Not only that but the creators downright said that they wanted Tadashi to be Sunfire so Tadashi being alive isn't a theory it's a fact. Crazy right?

If anything he would be protecting his family and if there were a reason for him not revealing himself alive than I would say he would be building a suit to contain his power or he probably thinks himself as a freak or monster and doesn’t want anyone too know but the first option is more better. Tadashi working with Callaghan wouldn’t be plausible. In the series, there’s an episode where Hiro visits Callaghan in prison to ask for advice. Callaghan apologizes for Tadashi’s death. Since he’s in prison, wouldn’t he just spill the beans?? I highly doubt that them working together is the case. Tadashi is too pure-hearted, too genuine for that to happen

Something like 99.8% of all deceased are cremated. Have you ever seen a traditional Japanese gravesite? Tadashi would have been burned to ashes in a fire like that and most likely, it was a memorial service seen in the film.

Now, i love Tadashi as much as the next person, but in my honest opinion, he should stay dead. BEFORE YOU RIOT, let me explain. Tadashi's death is pivotal to the overall story of BH6. His death truly sets hiro on the path of reformation, and the loss helps him feel sympathetic towards Callaghan. But the impact doesn't end there. Look over at BH6: The Series, and it becomes even more apparent. Callaghan shows up twice in the series, and both times shows very clear remorse for his past. He even appologizes to hiro, saying that he never intended for anyone else to get hurt. He shows clear and honest regret, saying that he hopes hiro can forgive him some day. And in season 1, hiro befriends a botfighter girl who attempts to lure hiro back into the world of bot fighting (later turns out she was a robot, it's weird), but he resists the temptation to honor his promise to Tadashi, even offering to help her get out like Tadashi did to him. Revealing that Tadashi is alive removes all the emotional impact that has been so important for character growth. And again, i love Tadashi, but the story just has more meaning without him having been alive the whole time.

Actually you are wrong. A fire like that could melt steel in minutes. A human body ash in less time. Bones might make it but highly unlikely. That fire was well over 2k degrees. You can tell by the speed it rises. The amount of smoke. And the sheer intensity.
I do believe tadashi's comic counterpart is sunfire. Let's be honest all those experiments in one area plus the explosion something may have helped him survive. Just maybe not in a good way that's why he never went home he's scared what he may do and how his family will view him.

I think what they mean is that his body, in the universe of the film, was never recovered from the building. Because if he was, they would’ve seen that Callaghan’s body was missing (as he wasn’t dead), and wouldn’t have had a memorial service for the two of them, as they’d have little reason to believe he was dead. Then again, if they didn’t find ANY of the bodies, they have no reason to believe he didn’t survive. But, most people don’t survive a building exploding around them, so yeah.
Also, the argument of “the graves are too close together” is completely idiotic. Where big hero six takes place in is based on Japanese culture, meaning they cremate the bodies. It was likely a memorial service. Not to mention how showing a burning teenagers body is not a good argument.

So, a theory I recall is that Hiro _is_ Tadashi. Basically, Hiro somehow went back in time, as there's only Hiro in the family portraits in Cass's house. That'd also explain the line "You don't understand this yet, but people need you"

Also calls for the question "How did Callahan learn to produce the microbots?" Sure, Hero's invention was inspired my Callahan's tech, but it isn't exactly the same thing. And from the looks of it, the only info he even had on the microbots was from Hero's presentation. The only logical answer would be that someone gave him the blueprints and who else could it even be? And I doubt Callahan would be able to mass produce all the microbots alone in the span of time he had (ik he built robots but still)
My theory is that Tadashi was dating Callaghans daughter and when he found out she died in the hands on Krei. He helped Callaghan get revenge and started the fire to fake his death so he could spend more time helping the prof. at that island

Baymax says Tadashi is here to console Hero. I don't understand why that's confusing. If Baymax knew Tadashi was legitimately there's no reason why he wouldn't find him for Hero. He's majorly depressed over his brother's death so Baymax telling him were Tadashi was is an insanely logical treatment.
There are a LOT of fan-fictions based on all of these theories. One of my favorite was with Tadashi loosing his memory and being abducted by a secret group to use as an assassin. Also a good one was with Tadashi being found in a hospital as a Jon Doe in a coma. Another is with Tadashi as "Ronin" (instead of Clint) And the Avengers being introduced to save Hiro from Hydra and AIM. Which introduced Ronin who Hiro is super angry at for betraying him.
Tadashi went from open casket to cremation with in seconds. Unknown tech in that fair could easily incinerated something close by with a high enough temp. If Tadashi is to be alive then have that be included into Dr. Stange and the multiverse of madness. Maybe Strange rescues Tadashi without realizing it and try’s to return him to his universe. We will never know until they officially say he’s gone or another movie explains his survival.
The sunfire theory I’ve read states that an experiment in the explosion caused a reaction which caused tadashi to absorb and give him super powers but it also could’ve caused him to forget who he was and will appear in the second movie fighting against his brother who recognizes him but he doesn’t. One reason he could be a villain would be he doesn’t know who he and accidentally burned something causing the bh6 to end up trying to stop him and tadashi seeing himself being under attack retaliates branding him a villain.
Another thing, Tadshi might have gone into the other dimension that crane's daughter was lost in. Or he could have went into hiding. Its weird but He didn't seem like the type to abandon his family and friends. It would be kinda cool if he survived.
This theory also has some great potential about how Hiro would react... especially if that Big Hero 6 cartoon is considered canon considering how Tadashi was brought back, sort of, as part of a plot by the one big baddie to mess with Hiro's mind.
Or! Maybe Tadashi was always a villain but just not in Hiro's eyes, and we the viewers see it through his perspective, also thinking Tadashi is a good guy. He could totally just be a villain if he returns and still have a redemption arc later

I love Tadashi so much that when he died I cried. I feel like government conspiracy feel from Tadashi's death... he's brilliant genius, who may have special tech he is carrying. Though him not appearing already has my theory still up in the air. I have mixed feelings, on one hand I hoped upon hope for Tadashi to be alive when I first saw the movie, I even hoped he would be the twist villain just so he could live. But instead, he was in fact dead, and I got my heart broken. I sobbed so hard the first few times I watched the movie, and even after watching it idk how many times I still cry, but I've finally accepted that Tadashi is dead and that the movie gives Hiro the closure he desperately needed by having him realize that Tadashi lives on in his creation, Baymax. So Tadashi really is here with him, always. If they threw that wonderful thing back in our faces by saying nope he's actually alive I just think that wouldn't be good. But at the same time, I want him to be alive lol. So idk. I think the movie is probably best left the way it is, about dealing with loss and moving on with your life, and understanding that those we lose will always live on with us.

If he comes back the only way I see that happening without ruining the first movie's character development would be through some parallel universe shenanigans, Tadashi comes from a grim timeline where everyone died, but he survived through his ingenuity the big bad can move through space-time and is going to destroy even more universes, and Tadashi takes it upon himself to save the other universes, he ends up in the BH6 world with no way to go back and helps our team get stronger from the shadows, because he doesn't want to reveal himself just yet. In order to do that he acts as a villain, leaves hints about how to improve their gear and challanges our heroes time and time again, it's only a matter of time until the big bad follows In the end because his universe is gone he stays in this world, but he doesn't move in with his family, because they aren't really his family and that would feel really awkward, he does start working at the café and attending school again though
When Baymax said "Tadashi is here" he pretty much proved that Tadashi is alive. Whether he's just alive like this theory or like the super Carlin Brothers theorize that it is time travel and Tadashi was actually hiro from a Time loop. not once in the whole movie did baymax make a euphemism, or allude to something as spiritual as a loved one being in your heart. When he said Tadashi is here, he meant Tadashi is MF here.

Tadashi working with Callaghan wouldn’t be plausible. In the series, there’s an episode where Hiro visits Callaghan in prison to ask for advice. Callaghan apologizes for Tadashi’s death. Since he’s in prison, wouldn’t he just spill the beans?? I highly doubt that them working together is the case. Tadashi is too pure-hearted, too genuine for that to happen

Something like 99.8% of all deceased are cremated. Have you ever seen a traditional Japanese gravesite? Now, i love Tadashi as much as the next person, but in my honest opinion, he should stay dead.
BEFORE YOU RIOT, let me explain.
Tadashi's death is pivotal to the overall story of BH6. His death truly sets hiro on the path of reformation, and the loss helps him feel sympathetic towards Callaghan. But the impact doesn't end there. Look over at BH6: The Series, and it becomes even more apparent. Callaghan shows up twice in the series, and both times shows very clear remorse for his past. He even appologizes to hiro, saying that he never intended for anyone else to get hurt. He shows clear and honest regret, saying that he hopes hiro can forgive him some day. And in season 1, hiro befriends a botfighter girl who attempts to lure hiro back into the world of bot fighting (later turns out she was a robot, it's weird), but he resists the temptation to honor his promise to Tadashi, even offering to help her get out like Tadashi did to him.
Revealing that Tadashi is alive removes all the emotional impact that has been so important for character growth. And again, i love Tadashi, but the story just has more meaning without him having been alive the whole time.

Actually you are wrong. A fire like that could melt steel in minutes. A human body ash in less time. Bones might make it but highly unlikely. That fire was well over 2k degrees. You can tell by the speed it rises. The amount of smoke. And the sheer intensity.
I do believe tadashi's comic counterpart is sunfire. Let's be honest all those experiments in one area plus the explosion something may have helped him survive. Just maybe not in a good way that's why he never went home he's scared what he may do and how his family will view him.

I think what they mean is that his body, in the universe of the film, was never recovered from the building. Because if he was, they would’ve seen that Callaghan’s body was missing (as he wasn’t dead), and wouldn’t have had a memorial service for the two of them, as they’d have little reason to believe he was dead. Then again, if they didn’t find ANY of the bodies, they have no reason to believe he didn’t survive. But, most people don’t survive a building exploding around them, so yeah.

And from the looks of it, the only info he even had on the microbots was from Hero's presentation. The only logical answer would be that someone gave him the blueprints and who else could it even be? And I doubt Callahan would be able to mass produce all the microbots alone in the span of time he had (ik he built robots but still)

Baymax says Tadashi is here to console Hero. I don't understand why that's confusing. If Baymax knew Tadashi was legitimately there's no reason why he wouldn't find him for Hero. He's majorly depressed over his brother's death so Baymax telling him were Tadashi was is an insanely logical treatment.
There are a LOT of fan-fictions based on all of these theories. One of my favorite was with Tadashi loosing his memory and being abducted by a secret group to use as an assassin. Also a good one was with Tadashi being found in a hospital as a Jon Doe in a coma. Another is with Tadashi as "Ronin" (instead of Clint) And the Avengers being introduced to save Hiro from Hydra and AIM. Which introduced Ronin who Hiro is super angry at for betraying him.

Tadashi went from open casket to cremation with in seconds. Unknown tech in that fair could easily incinerated something close by with a high enough temp. If Tadashi is to be alive then have that be included into Dr. Stange and the multiverse of madness. Maybe Strange rescues Tadashi without realizing it and try’s to return him to his universe. We will never know until they officially say he’s gone or another movie explains his survival.
Big Hero 6 is probably my favorite SOLELY Disney property, and I love any form of content for this series.

The sunfire theory I’ve read states that an experiment in the explosion caused a reaction which caused tadashi to absorb and give him super powers but it also could’ve caused him to forget who he was and will appear in the second movie fighting against his brother who recognizes him but he doesn’t. One reason he could be a villain would be he doesn’t know who he and accidentally burned something causing the bh6 to end up trying to stop him and tadashi seeing himself being under attack retaliates branding him a villain.

I feel like government conspiracy feel from Tadashi's death... he's brilliant genius, who may have special tech he is carrying. Though him not appearing already has my theory still up in the air. Amnesia, brainwashed, coma, kidnapped, or even sent to a pocket dimension, are the typical Daily Soap Opera tropes that comes to mind.

I have mixed feelings, on one hand I hoped upon hope for Tadashi to be alive when I first saw the movie, I even hoped he would be the twist villain just so he could live. But instead, he was in fact dead, and I got my heart broken. I sobbed so hard the first few times I watched the movie, and even after watching it idk how many times I still cry, but I've finally accepted that Tadashi is dead and that the movie gives Hiro the closure he desperately needed by having him realize that Tadashi lives on in his creation, Baymax. So Tadashi really is here with him, always. If they threw that wonderful thing back in our faces by saying nope he's actually alive I just think that wouldn't be good. But at the same time, I want him to be alive lol. So idk. I think the movie is probably best left the way it is, about dealing with loss and moving on with your life, and understanding that those we lose will always live on with us.

If he comes back the only way I see that happening without ruining the first movie's character development would be through some parallel universe shenanigans, Tadashi comes from a grim timeline where everyone died, but he survived through his ingenuity
the big bad can move through space-time and is going to destroy even more universes, and Tadashi takes it upon himself to save the other universes, he ends up in the BH6 world with no way to go back and helps our team get stronger from the shadows, because he doesn't want to reveal himself just yet. In order to do that he acts as a villain, leaves hints about how to improve their gear and challanges our heroes time and time again, it's only a matter of time until the big bad follows
In the end because his universe is gone he stays in this world, but he doesn't move in with his family, because they aren't really his family and that would feel really awkward, he does start working at the café and attending school again though
When Baymax said "Tadashi is here" he pretty much proved that Tadashi is alive. Whether he's just alive like this theory or like the super Carlin Brothers theorize that it is time travel and Tadashi was actually hiro from a Time loop. not once in the whole movie did baymax make a euphemism, or allude to something as spiritual as a loved one being in your heart. When he said Tadashi is here, he meant Tadashi is MF here.
Many people in the comments say that if a body isn’t shown, they’re still alive... but I don’t think they would show a completely burnt body to a bunch of kids?

you ca show an outline of a foot or something, its just a general rule if you aren't shown proof of a body theres a 50/50 chance they're alive :)
@@Schnickledooger I mean first of all, that was a long time ago, and second, Mufasa wasn’t visibly harmed. Sure he was trampled, but they wouldn’t show any blood. Now with Tadashi, I find it hard to show a body that was in a fire without any burns.
This movie is nostalgic for me, it had 2 sad scenes. I also watched this in theatres on my birthday 6 years ago. Dang this generation is expiring.
