One of the more underrated shows of my late childhood. It flew under the radar cause of the state of Disney. I enjoyed a lot of it though. Big Hero 6 and Ducktails were some of the few genuinely good shows Disney Channel had back then. A true diamond in the rough
I did dislike how they rushed hiro's love life. Showed him and that girl falling in love, having the later move away due to her parents fears. Only for her to come back for ONE episode to help the group and it showed she had feelings for him, and he had the same. Despite being confirmed in the episode he was dating that police man's daughter. Even though they were giving goo goo eyes to each other. *Hiro's arranged girlfriend didn't appear after her father found out about his secret btw an episode or two prior. Despite approving of it after he saves the city*
fair, though he was not dating Megan (the policeman's daughter). When was it confirmed? She never appeared after season 2,which is a pity since I liked their friendship.
The artstyle is an 8/10 one of the best looking cartoon's have watched. Plot 7/10 basic plot. Character dev:7.5/10 some were great but some felt forced. Animation: 8/10 pretty smooth especially the fight scenes. All in all it's a great series.
Gonna be honest; globby is my ideal favourite supervillain; classic, simple, morphus body like sandman and clay face, even an upgraded version of absorbing man’s abilities, and this guy is comedy gold at times, man I love this guy
Honestly Globby is the best supervillain, i like how he has his Redemption arc unlike some Animators there who didn't continue the redemption arc of their character.. I like how Globby developed overtime, he's the best villain / anti hero character in this series..
Random funfact: The reason why some scenes look awkward animation wise is that because of how strict they want the characters to stick to their models, some frames were added to avoid smear frames as much as possible unless specifically added in the storyboard or if theres no other way to do the animation properly. Another funfact: despite looking like cutout animation, they did this tradigitally(drawn by hand) which made the process to make this show quite tedious (plus the fact that theyre quite strict with it)
It was a really good series, kept things with the original movie unlike some adaptions. Such as Monsters V. Aliens, Cloudy With a chance of meatballs, and of course most recently.. Megamind. Seriously getting rid of Ginormica's core power in the first episode for the rest of the series, making Flint friends with Sam as kids and she was FROM swallowfalls and just an invention made them forget, and Megamind.. Forgetting everything from the movie.
I remember this series! Season 1 and 2 were amazing almost on the level of the movie but season 3 felt forced wished that this series could continue and make Hiro's love life right!
I knew about this series when it came out but even as a kid I felt the movie itself closed out so nicely that watching further story would ruin it for me So glad that’s not the case. I’ll be binging this now.
We hope there will be Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy (Iron Arm / Mighty Atom) series by the production of Walt Disney Animation Studio in the very far future since the 2060s. Tezuka's Astro Boy series truly looks like and might fit the Walt Disney Animation. Astro(Atom), Toby(Tobio) Tenma, and Hiro Hamada are all Japanese ancestral characters, too.
Fun fact thr characters are kinda like a spin off or a re imagination of the big hero 6 from the 1998 Marvel comics They almost have similar namees as well Hiro Hamada is actually Hiro Takachiho Honey lemon is Aki Nakamura Gogo tomago is actually leiko Tanaka Freddy also known as Fredzilla or Fred Tatsumi. I also likenthe comics bcus my favourite marvel characters eventually joined the team Spidey and of course the wolverine So yeah the movie/ series took a lot from the comic I forgot to mention Baymax is still also created by Hiro too in there but hes a body guard Pretty cool right 🤝
Glooby is one of my favorite characters actually in the show I'm so glad my man got a redemption Arc and in the future is now part of Big hero 6 I love his powers they're pretty cool wish I could have something like that and not and not look like a blob creature
I I think it’s very likely that Tadashi just told and Cass what he was working on plus it’s never stay that she didn’t know. Just hero was just hiding him from her.
My favorite character was blobby. And the lady that hated Hiro but loved the super hero version of him was very very odd for me and it maid me feel odd but still enjoyed how he responds to that woman 😂
I remember loving season 1&2 and watching it during Covid . Also being upset with season 3. Sad that they didn’t continue but instead made a Baymax! Show that is just shorts
I don't know why some people hate Hiro for liking 2 or 3 girls at the same time, Hey it's just a crush don't be freaking ridiculous, it wasn't like they're hiro's girlfriends playing them all hahaha..
The movie is still one of my top 3 favorite animated movies, but the show could've been more emotional. Karmi knew about Tadashi and yet still bullied Hiro, which makes her pre-character development self not too sympathetic. At least she got better. The movie never stated the team name wasn't Fred's idea, so doesn't really contradict anything. Hiro's parents are never once mentioned, would have liked to see the show explore how Hiro and Tadashi lost their parents and came to live with Cass. Of the 11 minute episodes, I did not like Dog Craze of Summer, the only episode I don't like watching, because while we're supposed to see Hiro as being 100% at fault for the dog trouble and him losing all his money as a well deserved punishment, Granville dumped her dogs on him at the last minute with a ridiculous amount of supplies and instructions and didn't even bother giving him a proper walkthrough, and he wasn't given a choice in taking the job as Cass made him. The instruction for Mr. Pip was even buried in the middle of the manual, and come on, why would he think they'd get loose from Fred's yard? It's not like Granville said that was a possibility, all she said was the dogs have quirks. If she knew the dogs could do things like tear down the gate to Fred's yard, she should have told Hiro that upfront instead of leaving Hiro to find that out through reading.
80% of the comments are about how this series flew under their radar 19% is critiquing or saying their experience with the series And here I am wondering why I didn't finish the show
WAIT ONLY NOW I KNOW THAT THERE'S SEASON THREE???? Was it not uploaded where I watched it or it just wasn't even released back then I don't even know Well, whatever, not like I'm feeling up to watching it now
nah karmi is in love with the captain cutie version not hiro himself that she actually has a rival with. hiro was even trying to figure out a way to reject her but only didn't because he appreciated her support that brought his team and him popularity
Yeah.. Honestly was expecting that robot daughter of the season 1 villain would have somehow rebuilt her father as an AI duplicate that ended up becoming a virus. Basically those chips on a greater scale. Imagine hiro thinking Baymax had a chip installed again, only to find only his core personality chip was there. Leading to a heartfelt moment where Hiro has to choose between fully destroying Baymax or risk the city being destroyed by the robotic menaces.
I think he's the main villain actually. After the other big villains like Obake and Di Amara were defeated, he persisted. He combated them more than any other villains in the show, and he was the final threat they faced in the series. Noodle Burger Boy the main antagonist of Big Hero Six the series.
So was that the ending? Was that the final episode; a proper ending? Or did Disney just left it hanging like it usually does most series. 😒 I don’t remember it ending at all but if that really was the end seemed a nice was to end things.
I love that Fred is just canonically Stan Lee's kid

Big hero six has a series?!?!?!?!??
Yes, it does and can watch the whole thing Disney plus
Yep
In my opinion I’ll say season 1-2 are good while season 2 has to be the best season in my opinion but season 3 just felt forced on
I'd give the series a 7/10
@@OfficialBerryblazeYTi agree, which is why i usually skip it, it felt really forced tbh
HOW THE HELL DID THIS SERIES GET PASSED MY RADAR!?
Trust me buddy, I've been asking the exaaaaact same question
It's really old at this point and it showed up a few times online
They never advertised it
Well in my case this arrived right after my family first got Wifi/Access to the internet.
It's Disney anything that's cool or interesting they cancel it immediately
I did dislike how they rushed hiro's love life.

Even though they were giving goo goo eyes to each other. *Hiro's arranged girlfriend didn't appear after her father found out about his secret btw an episode or two prior. Despite approving of it after he saves the city*
yep that basically sums it up. although you could just say hiro fumbled by simply not removing his helmet in that one episode appearance so
fair, though he was not dating Megan (the policeman's daughter). When was it confirmed? She never appeared after season 2,which is a pity since I liked their friendship.
Am i the only one to not realize freds dad was stan lee as a kid
Edit: somehow this got likes thanks
Yeah. Stan Lee literally voiced Fred’s Dad in the movie.
It’s because big hero 6 is marvel

Globby saves evil tech billionaire but then steals the dude's wallet. That is a BOSS move--chaotic-neutral, baby!
Absolute Plastic Man vibe

Wish hiro and karmi had more on screen time, but I do love the hug hiro gave karmi after she un-monster❤

I watched it and i have to say I loved the series and the relationship between hiro and carmi
Did you know Man Of Action were the original comic writers of Big Hero 6? They also created shows like Ben 10 and wrote for Justice League Adventures
Like yhe original Ben 10? Because that one slaps
And ultimate spiderman
It kinda forshadows whats next for the franchise and the big hero 6 2 might be getting glanced at more.
I dont like how megan became part of the team but karmi never was a official member of the team
Megan is tecnicly hero girlfriend but im like honey lemon he should be in his enemies to lovers with karmi

Ooo, I completely forgot about this series
They were damn cowards for writing Karmi out of the story. Cowards.
This is what it pisses me off. everything would've been so different there was too much potential.
I’m not sure how many people know that Big Hero 6 was apart of marvel at one point.
Disney bought marvel and then made a reimagination of the characters
i love how he struggles to say noode burger boy everytime for the whole video XD
The series needs more episodes.
I knew about this series when it came out but even as a kid I felt the movie itself closed out so nicely that watching further story would ruin it for me
