I was sitting in a restaurant with some friends recently. When our meals arrived I remarked at how delicious everything was.
One of my friends offered: "Probably Sous Vide"
"Sous what?" I asked....his description of the process jogged my memory
Sous Vide...right....hands off slow cooking in a vacuum sealed bag with temperature controlled water.
That's what is missing in my cooking repertoire. So I was on mission to find a good used Sous Vide unit and managed to find a beauty. Check out my first attempts at using it.
