Marry Christmas and Happy New Year Nathan. Yer excellent bikes the Reb's ,Perfect for Aussie suburban roads. I go for my learners again on the 9th of feb over Kilsyth, Oh well third time lucky 😂Cheers man have a great day.
Nah I didn't get my Learners, I completed day one but quit half way through day two . I was totally f**cked by day two as it was 30c for both days , So I was making a lot errors due to fatigue. So anyway I might try again in late Autumn or early winter when it's cooler.
I think the Rebel is most at home cruising in the city. Just the right amount of power, easy to flatfoot so waiting at stop lights doesn't get too tiring, and also when you're waiting at stop lights the engine isn't putting out the heat of a thousand suns so it's great in the summer. The stock suspension isn't great for smoothing out the many bumps on city roads, though. It definitely won't let anyone down.
I have the 1100, and as far as I can tell is mine is just a bigger engine, I have modes, and Cruise Control. Otherwise, same bike. And I agree with everything you said. I have had mine for barely over 1 year now, and it is just as awesome now as it was when I drove it home new. I assume 2 more years will still be the same story.
75mph (120 kmh) is pretty common here. There are some roads with higher limits at 85 mph (135 kmh), but people will drive like that even if the speed limit is lower.

Hey nice vid, did you ride triumphs speed 400? I am thinking between speed 400 and rebel500 for boping around city. How does rebel handle bad roads ground clearance doesnt look good on rebel
I still love mine. I put over 12,000 miles on it so far, but it has a total of almost 16k on the odometer. I think its acceleration is great for me for safety and keeping me out of too much trouble 😂
Hello from Canada 🇨🇦 🤙🏼 my buddy has one and complains about the back brakes, leaving a lot to be desired… I was wondering what your opinion on the back brakes are?
As a complete beginner who is gonna go for his ls in Victoria can I buy this bike for my ls ive heard you can only ride 250 cc on ls in Victoria but I'm just in love with this bike
I recently went into a dealership and, they told me I whould be to tall for the bike... im 6 foot 1 nearly 6,2 you reckon i ignore the buggers and just get some forward controls? Cheers mate 🎉
If you're happy with the 600 ish cost of the forwards to add the length, go for it! Id recommend sitting on one again and basically pit your heel on the rear brake and shifter as thats where the forwards roughly go. If youre happy with that, send it! If not, suss a vulcan
I have a large V emblem on my Vulcan Voyagers tank, Ive had Harley riders say " Nice Victory " lol
Gotta love the average riders bike knowledge lol
