They revised the DCT this year on the rebel, its much better at low speeds now. Combined with the foot controls moving almost 2" forward and the bars moved up and back a bit, the much more comfortable seat, and not to mention the new dash, its really a great bike and a steal for that price. They pretty much fixed all the complaints I ever heard on the bike.
I bought my brand new 2023 Honda Rebel 1100 DCT in July 2024 and love it! I replaced the seat, exhaust, and added a few other parts that are linked to my channel. Thanks for the review 🥇
I have a 2024 version of this bike. It is fantastic. Throttle is silky smooth, manage slow speed stuff while dragging rear brake. It shifts exactly when I would and smoother than I do. I love it.
I’m definitely a fan of this bike. If I had a place for a 3rd bike….well. I am very “pro-clutch and shift” guy but would LOVE to have at least one bike in the stable where shifting is not required! Great vid B! 👊😎
It is different. Nice variety while still having a six speed sequential transmission. Also, being able to take your hands off the controls and rest them at a stop light and still being ready for the green light. No need to clutch and put it in first to leave with the green. Room for it is defiantly a problem since we own other bikes.
In slow speed, use the rear brake to manage friction zone. I love this bike! I have just over 34K miles on my 2022 with no issues. I've used it on many touring and multi day trips including moto-camping.

Great video, thanks! Going to be my next bike, really good sound quality of your video, thanks for not using bad language as some do. Wind protection at 80 since you set so low in bike and with the tiny headlamp cover? I didn't hear that much wind noise? Exhaust note sounds decent. Honda like.
At 80mph, I'm 6'1" and feel like a parachute in the wind. But there are a lot of small (and large) windshield options like the Puig versions. And there is a bagger version 1100T with a fairing.
@@TheZX11 the bagger version is a good-looking bike. I think they had two at the dealership when I rode this one. I got to tell you, I'm a big fan of this bike.

Hi, thanks for the video! I've been saving money for my first bike. This has been on my radar for a while. Looks so good! I don't like to shift anywhere and it does not matter wheter it is a bicycle, car or bike! :D It's boring for me. I like to sit and ride on each thing. I don't find it funny at all to shift like a mainac. I am not a competetive rider, need to brag myself, do shitty stuff on the road. Just a regular guy who wants to enjoy the ride and chill. I like Touring model, but this has SE has better colours and some features which I would like to have on touring, lol. Hard to pick a model. I would like to combine it :D.
@@bluezsb I would love to be able to answer that, but it simply just isn't that way. Honda got it right with this motorcycle. And I agree with you, others would do well to take a look at this type of a machine and figure out a way to have an answer for it
Most riders have no intention of buying an automatic motorcycle. If it is the future, then I won’t be riding, or I’ll only be riding older bikes. DCT option is fine for those who want it. For most, it robs from the authentic, manual feel of riding a motorcycle. It’s like buying an automatic sports car, what’s the point?
@@srthellcathemi3037 I'm telling you, as intuitive as this transmission is you would think it runs on magic. This thing is as good as any automatic transmission that you could ever imagine driving in a car. It is extremely intuitive on downshifts and extremely easy to manage in slow speed maneuvers. If you're into motorcycles but you don't want to have to deal with learning the Finesse of a clutch or downshifting or shifting in general for that matter this is a awesome way to go and to get into bikes in a way that folks have never had the option to do in the past.
