send the gears to hanna @ frozen solid and get them cryo treated. they do all the renault fomula one car gearboxes. not much money for great results. its failing to due bad casting in the gear.i.e air pockets, cryo almost reduces these.
@@adamknight9535 that depends on the design, two things are probably happening here. flex in the casing as you say allows the gears to spread and therefore only the gear tips engaged= bad. also when gears are mass produced alot of air is trapped within the gear casting.by cryo treating the gear is super frozen then allowed back to room temperature. this is done several times. each time the air pockets become smaller.imagine an aero chocolate bar. this intern strengthens the gears, i have used this on many gearboxes with great success, hence the tip..p.s i have no links with frozen solid.its just the company i used when i did this kinda stuff lol

@@adamknight9535 it doesnt help the input shaft is hollow. thats one of the reasons an upgraded gearset works so well as most replace the input shaft
