    It's 2022 and here I am in Australia thinking about doing this to my Pajero. I am impressed and think it's a great look. And that light bar works a treat too.

    LOVE this mod on my 07 Tahoe. I tapped into the left fog light. This light has saved me a few times!

      That's a great idea. So does the stock vehicle fog light button operate the new lightbar or you still have to mount the one that came with it?

    Great job. Thanks for your video. I ordered the exact same light and harness that you supplied on your link below. The install was a little more involved than I anticipated but I got the job done. The hardware is difficult to attach to the light brackets once the main pivot brackets are installed. I would advise not ordering the wiring harness from the company you recommended as the light bar arrives in a couple of days whereas the harness took 2 weeks. All in all it looks awesome behind the grill.

    • @tmiklas778

      CyberFaction hey man how did the 32" install go. Is it too wide to mount correctly or did it work?

    • @CyberFaction
      @CyberFaction 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tim Miklas hey bro, I actually changed my mind and went with a single row 41" bar to fit behind the upper section of grill. I plan to mount it directly behind the grill for a "OEM" look, Figured it be a cleaner look since it fit directly in the grill and be in line with the headlights. I ordered it and the wiring yesterday, it'll be in Friday. After I install and I'm going to make a quick video to show the installation and light bar as soon as possible. Go ahead and sub to my channel so you get the notification when I post the vid!
      Vehicle: 2010 Avalanche LTZ
      Bar: 41" nilight single row 200w

    • @CyberFaction

      Truck Master video of my light bar in up! I recorded it real quick, I'll pull out the Nikon and make a better video later on. It's a 41" single row bar. Because of its size I ended up having to take the entire front end off, which wasn't difficult at all(it's only held on by 6 bolts at the bottom). I'm very pleased with the look and light power! Your video was my inspiration!

  • @UrvineSpiegel

    How much room is there between the back of the light assembly and the front of the radiator? I have a 2013 Avalanche with the aux transmission cooler and it doesn’t appear to be a lot of room. TIA! Great video BTW, very informative.

    Thanks for the video! I'm looking to do to my 2013 avalanche. your description details the wire harness but your video says it came with it? the Amazon link for the bar doesn't seem to include the wiring and the switch is way different than your video. Thoughts? Thanks.

    👍I like LED lights but all of the ones I’ve had for maybe 4 or 5 mos (w/ little use) the light degrades rather quickly as far as the brightness. Also, my shop lights do it too. (120v) just my 2¢ 👍

    Having your light bar behind your grill, and after doing highway driving or a build up of bugs on your light. What is the easiest way for one to clean the light bar. I want to install behind grill of '06 Avalanche but unsure about how easy it would be to clean the night bar.

    Since ya put a light bar on, might as well swap to LED headlights

    This has to be the worst mounting mechanism, i regret not getting the ones with the end mounts, seems alot easier.

    Holy cow, that wiring install is TERRIBLE! They give you the grommets on the firewall for that, not in the dam door jamb lol
    Thanks for the review though, I will be buying one

    Why run it through the door like that? Your going to damage the wires with the door opening and closing against the seal. Should of gone through the door wire harness boot at least

      Reason I say that is because I did that once and frayed the wires over time but the light looks great and nice idea to mount on my Tahoe thank you

    Great vid but I'd advise people to never buy that switch they look like shit and they don't work well at all

  • @ericszymczyk2113
    @ericszymczyk2113 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Did they change the switch? I don't want to permanently attache to my dash. How long could a 12 in light bar take to kill the battery if truck not running?

    • @TruckMaster
      @TruckMaster  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Eric Szymczyk I've never had a problem with the battery I've had the truck sit for two months and it didn't affect anything but I would like to replace that switch
