Hey dude I really appreciate the video, I've seen a bunch of other videos where they mount the light bar there but their transmission cooler isn't right there so It's really easy for them to mount a light bar there but my transmission cooler is in the same spot that yours is so It's nice to see your video on how to mount a light bar behind the grill when your transmission cooler is on top of the a-frame behind the grill. Thanks again for the video dude!👍
bowtieguy97 I had been contemplating doing it a while ago on my Ford but was not sure if it would hinder the preformance . plus on my work truck I let would look tacky to put it on to the roof
How far up did the trans temp go? Did it keep rising as you drove or did it hold itself at a certain point? I just installed my light bar same location but i dont have a trans temp gauge. Im also thinking about relocating the transmission cooler but not to sure about where or if its even possible what do you think?
wish I would have known I could have gone up to 32" I went with a 22" I used the holes in the bottom part of the metal under the transmission coller thing and added some metal to set the light bar on cause the metal under the trans coller wasn't long enough that's how I did it. thanks for the video didn't know I could go that big ,thanks
I’m in college, I’ve got an apartment I don’t live with them. I assure you these modifications aren’t expensive and my parents must be pretty broke cause I’m driving a 15 year old truck? Lol I’m sorry you have nothing better to do than to comment on TH-cam videos and bash the creator. Maybe you should’ve gone to higher education.

The word that comes to mind is. Resourceful...
2002 Chevy is round front end, cat eye didnt start till 03.
I have a 2003 with the cat eye front end and to date it has to be one of my favorite Chevy HD front ends!
Yeah mines an 02 def not following this guy on Instagram
Look at a 2002 Avalanche. it has cat eyes. The Silverado got them in 03. The Tahoe & Suburban never got them.
I have a 06 2500hd with the trans cooler in the same place I wasnt sure how to get around it. Thanks man fixed my problem
would u be able to maybe do a video of a 4" light bar to mount somewhere on the back for reverse lights??
green arrow should just be able to wire tap into the reverse lights so it turns on when you go into reverse
“For cooling reasons” *mounts it over trans cooler*
I have a 52 in light bar across my windshield I bought from eBay and it’s been going strong for 3 years. No dead spots
Did you paint your front bumper ?
you can also put little light bars or pods in the fog light holes
FrostyFooy does it give a even spread since it’s so low? Figured it would need to be higher up
LetsGoToMarsMan just angle them up
I had no idea Lloyd Christmas had a TH-cam channel
My goodness. FYI skip to 2:30
I feel you
I agree... I'm like RAAAAAAGE
Where did you find that metal track, and how long is it?
does the grille pattern mess with light spread at all ?
No not at all
bowtieguy97 I had been contemplating doing it a while ago on my Ford but was not sure if it would hinder the preformance . plus on my work truck I let would look tacky to put it on to the roof

Were did you get that grill? It looks clean I like it.
Just off eBay, search chrome grill
Halfway through the video I decided doing this would take to much work and probably can do without a light bar for now
Yeah I thought the same thing, especially since It's illegal to drive on the road with them on anyways lol.

I would sit here and talk non stop if my arm didn't get tired from holding this selfie stick. Bla Bla bla
Sorry but that is obviously not a stable mount/install... you get an A for effort tho
😂😂 it’s been there for years so it’s working pretty good, feel free to alter the design to suit your needs.
Cheap way to mount a light bar... fail
Can we see how yours is mounted on your truck?
