Phraya Nakhon is a large cave on the ceiling with a opening allowing sunlight to go through the cave. The highlight of this cave is "Kareuhat Throne". It was built in the reign of King Rama V and it was workmanship of Princess Kajorn Charat Wong. It was created in Bangkok and then provided to Phraya Chonlayot Yothin to perform as a constructor. King Rama V came for the ceremony of mounting the gable-final with his own. On the right side of the stone wall, there are the signatures of King Rama V and King Rama VII. The letters are noticeably large and white. Kareuhat Throne is a landmark of Tham Phraya Nakhon and is the current Prachuap Khiri Khan Symbol.

Within Phaya Nakhon Cave, the royal building is named "Pha Ti Nang Khu Ha Karuerad". This building is very beautiful. I think it was built since King Rama V reign. This building is used as the logo of pra chuap kiri kan province ^^. Enjoy your trip. I have never been here and i felt stunning same as you described. It is really beautiful. I do agree !!!

Tim Hedges yes but they didn’t do and speak also about the view point which amazing view on shrimps farms, landscape and mountains around, neither they talked about the other boat trip that goes up between the mountains and then done to the delta passing in front fishermen and their boat. Sam roi yot has also caves and one amazing sand beach they didn’t mentioned!! 🥺 hope they did it because shouldn’t missed them as well 👍😍

This is not a temple. But it is the throne of the Thai King Rama 5, built when he went to government service.

I would go Wing Foil there next time..there s also kiteboarding in Hua Hin around Nov. I’m Thai..went there in 2018 w/ wife’s family from the Philippines..hike was 6 from scale 1-10..food was great at the restaurant at the beach..then stopped at Monsoon Valley Vinyard had wine tasting on way back to BKK to watch Thai Khon at Sala Chalerm Krung. it is not a Temple..it is called Sala..established under King Rama V…
