Been playing this playlist as a background and somewhat guide while leveling my Assist to BP and Noben’s journey certainly helped me in my quest to finally play Flyff and not stop just because I got lost at an early level lol
The game definitely does a poor job at explaining itself, and not only because it expects people to know what they're doing by now. It literally never held your hand at any point, making it hard to accommodate :) I'm happy that the series has done its job, even though there isn't as much new stuff happening anymore on the series! ^^
Enjoying your videos from a while back. In your Noben series, the world looks more populated than it does if I poke around, for example SM only has vendors set up by one player's alt accounts, while when you visit it's bustling with shops (like old times FlyFF). Which server are you playing on, or is it just a time of day thing?
Nah, it's not a time of day thing. Server popularity of course also matters and if the region is suitable to your own, I'm playing on Totemia and am Finnish myself so it's be natural to see a lot of people play during my active hours :) However, times have also changed and the game might be slowly losing its active playerbase due to dwindling interest and updates that don't appeal to everyone. There's also the event server that's currently going on, FWC, which has sucked in most of the players all around the world as long as it's active, causing the other servers to be quieter in the process. It's intended to conclude around October, but last year's FWC had some extensions so I wouldn't be surprised if the same happened this year as well ^^ If you want to see players, I would suggest going to FWC for the time being. It might also be a great opportunity for a new player to get a kickstart with bonus experience, drop rates and upgrade chances! The downside is that you'll only keep your currently worn equipment and cash shop items once it's over (and you remember to choose the server you want to merge into near the end of the event!), and it'll all be soul-linked to you upon transfer. The choice is yours, though :>
First? Anyway it has been a shame I've been taking a break to do master levels for lvl 80. It has become a bigger priority to reach 141 for guild's daily dungeons. I hate seeing my saved amps disappear slowly. Once I reach that level, they won't see me near Tigars for a long time :D Oh yeah, it's pretty normal to feel exhausted around 70-90. I took half a year break around lvl 102 until I decided to just swing back in as I was less distracted. Brought myself to a random finnish guild I could find and it has been smooth run since then. It's crazy for me to think I'm 137 now.
The community definitely plays a big role in just about any MMO! I don't think I would've made as much progress in the past with the game either if it wasn't for the lovely guilds that I had around me back when I was doing my leveling until Masters back in OG Flyff :) Even now, I feel less driven to put in extra hours JUST because I lack the incentive from others to do so. When my friends were more active, I'd definitely engage in dungeons and bosses more often x) I'm pretty consistent about leveling in general regardless of whether I have company or not, but it does make it a lot more comfortable to have just somebody to talk to :) And I would definitely recommend everyone out there to join a guild, or at the very least try and make friends when you're up and about. Those people are the reason why you'll want to stay. I'm happy that you found yourself a community and got this far, and I hope that you guys will stay in touch even beyond Flyff Universe far in the future! As we Finnish people tend to say, Torilla tavataan :D
Stat pets are so expensive to buy, raise, and maintain.. which makes me so happy that awhile ago I found a C Rank Dragon with 1-2-2-1 stats and 0 energy for a whopping.. 2k! Prolly 'cause of its garbage stats, but I got him purely as a cosmetic, 'cause he's a cute lil' guy and he keeps my pickup pet company :)
Even then that dragon is definitely worth a lot more than just 2k. If one didn't care much for the stats (and generally dragons aren't really desired due to just being +ATK), they could be used for sacrifices which are essentially used to reroll the level of the pet's current tier. And even the most basic C rerolls atleast here in Totemia cost nearly 20m. Think the guy must've missed a few zeroes 😆 It's a good start though, and I hope that the little guy makes for a pleasant companion :>
I'm a little bit of an organization maniac and always do my quests promptly, so it could be that :D I also tend to minimize the amount of waste like useless premiums that I have in my inventory, the bank's great for that! And setting up your pick-up pet to pick just what you want through pet filter is one of the most prominent reasons I wanted one so badly x,D
@@E7URA Yes, I bought the pick-up pet with penya! I actually showed this in the beginning of the video where I first got the pet (not sure if it was this one or an earlier episode), and I traded the player who I got the pet from for an amount that was worth 1k fCoins exchange rate at the time (as pick-up pets are worth 1k fCoins). As for the angel, yes, it has a maintenance and I must've referred to either my pet guide on a video where I first got it or showed the pet candy making process to explain how raising a pet works. The energy on the pet displays how long the pet can run active in minutes, and after that you must feed it one bag to refill the energy bar to full. At least in early stages, pet maintenance isn't all that expensive (for an E angel that's about 200k an hour), but raising the pet to become actually good with potential rerolls is the thing that makes raising a pet actually expensive. If you wish to learn more about raising pets, I highly suggest checking the pet guide I mentioned earlier :) Here's the link: th-cam.com/video/pp3lFqxdTWk/w-d-xo.html
@@emenalus Thanks! :D so prices really does differ depending on the market, I will check on the guide. Seeing your blade with pet really does make a difference
hey, greetings from Polish. please tell me, I'm close to lvl 60, I want to make blades, is it better to buy 2x dretra sword like before or is it better to buy 2x guardian ax like you?
@@ElKIutacze I 1up Hawaiianskater, do go for Guardian Axes if it's possible! If you are too short on penya, even one would be a huge upgrade. Alternatively Dretra or Taytra would still be better than just regular vendor weapons :)
@@ElKIutacze I figured I recognized your name from somewhere... seems like I was the one buffing you around at Drillers when I was streaming on Anatoly :) Thanks for being so nice! ^^
Because the concept is to be against it :) One of the points in the series is to prove that you can build a perfectly functional character even without the use of Ringmasters (unlike what is often being said in the community) although it DOES help a lot. I double it as encouragement to actually interact with others and lower the bar for people interested in the game - meta isn't a must ^^
People say that axes are better for Blades, although I'm not completely sure of that myself. That's due to axes having stronger STR scaling, whereas swords are supposed to make up for that with faster attack rate (not to be confused with attack speed). I've understood that this doesn't apply with dual-wielding though? Although my experience contradicts with that claim, I've perceived attack combos to be a little faster with swords but that could just be me. If you wanna play it safe, go for axes :) The upgrade to Historic Swords wasn't monumental.
I can see if playing mobile to not make another account, but if youre playing on PC there is no reason to not make a FSRM. Blade is also expensive, but i have noticed prices slighlty dropping which is a good thing.
I understand that happytanks is playing his blade on PC and using an ipad on the side to run his RM :) I think he doesn't prefer running two windows, although I understand the struggles if you don't have two monitors! I wouldn't go back now that I do ;D Blade prices definitely have been dropping and that's really fortunate, it makes actually rolling a blade much more pleasant. My hope is that more people could afford to make characters to a caliber similar to Noben ^^ Edit: Added the blade portion x)
@@osoevil9153Yeah, I used to have that and it worked just fine, dual monitors just makes it better if you have the luxury of doing so :) I understand why some might not like it though. What I also noticed is that if you tab switch pages, the ctrl and alt buttons in the browser kind of get "ghosted" during the first couple seconds, I would often end up healing instead of using Geburah if I didn't wait even if I held either button down. So tabbing also comes with some limitations with fast-paced action. Although I could fix that by simply putting Geburah on a non-special button ;D
So what should we call this rogue piece of hair? Sephiroth Stroke? xD
