I think I did state somewhere along the example that you should also take your travel time between mobs into account so best efficiency isn't always the best route, but if I did not declare that then I did make a horrible mistake. My bad :( There's definitely also only one true answer to what combination of stats deals the most damage, there's no taking that away. Not sure if I made a contradiction anywhere on the video about that (it's been a while), but I think the same as well ^^

@@FreezingFx Ohh yeah, the many ways to stat your characters was definitely meant more in the direction that you can suit a character for any playstyle which makes the game quite intriguing. However when committing to a certain playstyle, maths is definitely gonna go a long way in determining what stats are gonna matter the most - but this isn't something that should be discussed in a beginner-oriented guide :) I do also think I mentioned the importance of speed stat due to the amount of travelling done in-between kills, which becomes increasingly important of you kill fast! Interesting viewpoint, thanks for sharing! If strictly used for dungeons from the get-go, it indeed would probably be more productive to use the scroll than buying/creating a new party every day. Probably not to the thousands of levels though x)

Yeah, I agree with that sadly. I have repeated many times over that 2007-2009 or so were the golden ages for the game, after that it's been slowly deteriorating to the husk that it is now :/ Flyff PC barely has anyone left. Flyff Universe was a nice pillar of hope at its launch in 2022, but as of late I've grown concerned about how little GALA cares to keep the game alive but rather milk it as much as they can and toss it away. A shame really, a true passion project which loves the game and not the money would be important for a game like this but such a breakthrough is impossible with such an unfitting publisher x.x

@@emenalus I don't know what you are talking about, most of playerbase are competing and taking benefits in FWC server for 2x exp and loot for the entirety of summer. Currently during that event there isn't that much of activity in Totemia or other servers. (When that event ends, players with their new toons will come to their respective servers for better ping, with good loots in them to sell and share.) Also, money is irrelevant, if you don't have the will to keep leveling up. I've seen sassy little dolphins flash their nice +10 weapons, but sat on their 120s for months. Months I say! They were quite envious that I got very far from them since I chose to play this game every day and do few % goals every day.

@peagames2002 FWC and Flyff Universe aren't the main points behind this comment, so I think you might've missed the context! That's understandable though if you haven't been following Flyff during its later years, but after the golden years of Flyff (2007-2010 or so), it was given to another publisher and the things for the original game started to take a turn for the worse. The original game still exists, but is definitely far from healthy in terms of activity because it essentially turned into an arena spender heaven. That however, is a matter entirely detached from Flyff Universe x) Talking about FWC and Flyff Universe though, I'm still in the favor of grinding over spending money in this game and I always have been, but FWC is simply designed to be a big cash cow. I don't know where you got the idea that all those items people get will be up for selling and sharing, everything except your gear and premiums will be removed upon transfer and linked to your account, including your penya! What's actually going to happen is that the majority of the transferred players suddenly don't have any money to spend and there'll be a huge market crash for fCoins since people are willing to pay for any amount out of desperation - this happened last year too :/ I'm all in the favor of easier time for F2P players with getting better gear and catching up with the spenders, but the deeper controversy behind all this is the FWC Golden gear. There's nothing else in this game that spells out "P2W" as strongly as having a time-gated period to get yourself a set of max level gear with a ludicrously low drop rate that actually has better stats than regular, to incentivize giving you the edge over the others in end-game activities both PvE and PvP, even if only by a little. And that bit alone is to encourage people who've already burnt time and money into this game to get far only to do it again, because there's massive FOMO involved. And even if you managed to reach to level 160, getting a hand on these items without actually spending is a task next to impossible when even the clean items go for hundreds of dollars as we speak. You gotta either be a REALLY clever market trickster, burn every single minute of your life into this game to make up for the money you're not willing to spend or perhaps both, because I don't think there's going to be enough of these items in circulation for everyone even in the five months' time. Like I previously stated, the drop chances are really that bad. Not everyone of course aims to get up there to get the best gear possible and that's fine too, I didn't join simply because I don't have time to make anything out of it. But I can't come to respect a company that will repeatedly take advantage of its players who've already put so much into the game with a carrot unobtainable any other way. Even the double rates would've been enough, but not for GALA. They didn't want to leave people with a "choice". I was against FWC already last year because I smelled the rot as soon as it was announced, and admittedly it hit me pretty hard when they decided to do it again despite how many protested against it x.x It's one thing to keep playing a game despite its faults because you still enjoy it, but it's a very different dimension when you're making content out of it for thousands of people and serving as free advertisement material. And I don't think my dignity can tolerate staying loyal to such an exploitative company and keep encouraging people to play this game.

@@emenalus I don't think you're much of 'free advertisement' if you have such short term negative approach of the game. It's not an easy game, if you wish to run to endgame in few months. Would've expected you to learn that from 'golden age' flyff which IMO was worst age Flyff had. Flyff was way worse before Universe, having a lot of penya was out of question unless you dug deep in raids. Even high level mobs didn't give gear worth of penya to sell. It was incredibly inflated in economy even at beginning years and it got worse as years passed. Let's not even dwell with awful gears that only a very few were beneficial to respective classes. I would take abysmal drop rate for coral weapons over garbage PC Flyff. No matter what, it was garbage from the very beginning until browser version was made. I don't know if you ran to 90s in PC Flyff as well. PC Flyff even in old times, was garbage for multi clienting and made grind sessions a nightmare.

@@peagames2002 Don't worry, I never stated that Flyff PC was better than Universe, only that it got even worse over time. I'm still of the mind that Flyff Universe is the best the game's been to date, but it could've been so much better with a less greedier management. Besides that isn't a topic I've discussed so openly in my videos, so unless I make a video explicitly about it, most people will find the overall feedback for the game from me positive x) I also wouldn't call it short-term negative, I've observed GALA during Webzen years a long time, way before Project M/Flyff Universe was even brought up and it was quite apparent to me that maintaining server health wasn't their main priority. I cast my doubts as soon as Gala became a part of this project, but I've kept the lid tight because I had a lot of hope for this game. But after these couple years, I've kinda started running out of it - I haven't started considering other game content on my channel for no reason :/

Of course I remember you Mattie! We've shared lots of fun memories together even though it's been a while. Glad to see that you're up and about and still care to come and see me from time to time despite how busy you are. Glad you're enjoying my content for what it is <3 Content creation has been keeping me busy and honestly doesn't leave me much room for something as time-intensive as FWC, so I don't think I can't say for sure whether I'm able to join for the ride in any shape or form. I've also been looking to expanding my content beyond just Flyff and becoming a creator for all things RPG games in general, so it could very well be that my content doesn't focus that much on the game when FWC 2025 potentially rolls out. Looking forward to exchanging a few words and time with you at some point though, regardless of what game it is. I'm sure we'll make it a lot of fun ^^

Very sad to hear that Flyffipedia doesn't seem to work for you :( There's also alternatively the Madrigal Inside's database, but as far as I understand it's quite outdated. If you also have any kind of a prompt or an obvious obstacle that comes your way, maybe you could ask about Flyffipedia troubleshooting in the official Flyff Universe Discord :) You can find mercenary items from the Shield shop if you ever feel like you're not dropping any, but mind you that you might also wanna consider buying sets or set pieces from players too once you have enough money. They'll come with bonus stats on top of just defense. Hope this counts as a little helpful and that you'll enjoy the game regardless, thanks for watching my videos and hope you enjoyed this one as well <3

No it doesn't, Flyff Universe stays true to the v7 core mechanics and 3rd jobs came MUCH later down the line :)

@@jessieromero2799 The game has stayed true to its original format but skills DO have some overhauls towards the better. There's also new level 100 skills for second jobs, which for many they are actually quite relevant! I also heard between the first comment and now that they ARE indeed planning third jobs in the game. But we don't have exact details when yet

@emenalus is the leveling system the same from the old orignal server? Grinding a lot?

@@jessieromero2799 I can't say whether the rates are exactly the same, but it's pretty close to what it used to be. Leveling gets rough pretty quickly and only gets slower from then on, notable difference is that sets and weapons are more sensible and powerful now but you're still looking at many hours of grinding for a level up later down the road :)

Yeah, I was told so many times over when I first released this video and I apologize for the misinformation :) I was VERY young back when the game first released and I didn't seem to have any recollection of the dice. I couldn't find information about the dice in the past either, although I guess that'd make sense given the time of the internet back then 😅

A totally passable thought, I was struggling against it too because I knew how big of a deal the suit is. Of course, it wouldn't be nearly as enjoyable for me either to break the validity of the series for the sake of a mere suit and I was ready to work for it, but I also felt like turning down a genuine and heartfelt donation when the other person clearly knew the struggle for the last piece would've been just pure ignorance on my part. I did still work my way towards it so it wasn't completely undeserved, but certainly got it a lot faster than I expected x) I hope this turn of events doesn't come as a major turndown, I held onto it because this could happen to just about anyone. The guy was also willing to offer me a LOT more, but I convinced them that just the suit is enough :)

Thank you, that's what the series was made for <3 While being just a simple gameplay series on paper, it's there to also give a practical example to all the guidance I've been giving and proving that the character's capabilities are truly in your hands and not completely reliant on having buffs all the time (although it helps). Certainly not the first time I've heard people have tagged along for the journey and mainly listened to it in the background for some extra motivation, I'm glad to hear that you've gotten so invested and connected with the series as you go, and hope you're gonna have a bright future towards and beyond 60 ^^

Good luck with that! Just make sure that your hit rate is high enough to make a full STR build worth it, maybe through upgrades and/or set effects if you don't wanna add DEX :) 225m just a month in to the server though... man the economy's exploding again 😂

I think anywhere between Pumpkins and Giggle Boxes should be fine, depending on how well you perform :D Maybe even tougher if you have a suitable element!

It's definitely possible but the point of the series was partially to prove that this approach isn't a must :) Having to make multiple accounts starting off might be a turndown for many newbies so at least it's better they'll come to that decision themselves ^^

There have been mixed feelings about this topic for as long as I can remember, but here's my short answer: Legendary Golden Axes :) If you're interested in the "why", it's because of how weapons behave with Blades specifically. Because dual-wielding is not an actual thing in the game, Flyff puts a restriction where regardless of which weapon combination you use, your attack speed remains the same. However, because weapons have different STR scalings and axes scale better than swords, it makes axes an unconditional winner compared to swords. So unless the swords had particularly better stats (in this case I think they do but not *significantly*), axes will remain to be a better choice, especially with full STR Blades. In case you're curious about my choice for swords from 75 onwards, I actually wasn't aware of this fact and thought atk speed scaling would happen ^^ But even then I think Historic Swords were an arguably better choice since I had quite a bit of DEX as well. I didn't get as much STR scaling as most other blades would x)

If you're talking about the quest at level 80, you actually need to have done the entire Reonan questline until this point. If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's the questline that's started from level 15 and you continue from there, it's a REALLY long chain questline. If you don't know what to do, refer to my earlier videos in the series or look up the quest "Initiation of Champions" in flyffipedia.com and start scrolling through every quest from there until you reach this point :)

Well those are two different things altogether - you can party up with anyone, whether it's just your friend following you around or maybe even playing together with you - the partner in question doesn't necessarily have to be a RM! And like I said, some parties could even accept solos and you could still benefit by yourself :) On that note though, I understand your pain with setting yourself up with a partner. Ringmasters are quite the big deal regardless of what your level is and it becomes increasingly important later down the road, not just a convenience. The sad truth to the matter is that the majority are used to just making their alternate accounts for a Ringmaster and still playing the game by themselves, rather than looking for a partner within the game. So it's either gonna be a time-consuming job to get a partner each time you're looking to level up or you'll have to take the unorthodox route yourself. I can't say I find the appeal in multiboxing myself, but I've found having the option always available necessary if I just wanna go and enjoy the game - hope you'll find peace in that matter as well :/

@@MsTatakai People should've just never learned to play by themselves. I think promoting co-operative gameplay is nice and core to MMOs, and realistically you don't have to build meta to make your character effective x) It's more thinking out of the box, your stat points are meant for other things too than maxing out STR if the rest don't check out ;D Buffs just make things easier and in a grindy game like this people stick WAY too much into convenience. Kind of ruined the whole point of playing co-operatively :/

Yes, Rangers are quite durable due to their block rate so you should be fine! You even have Dark Illusion to escape a pinch if the need arises :) The Pink Roach room has a lot of reds and your RM could be in a constant risk of death, so it's better you either have a back-up resser, quick reactions or keep your RM at the back so you won't have to consistently corpse run them back :>

Time flies by quick ;D While it ain't the same both in mind and in reality, it's still a nice game to get back to ^^

Really? Never heard that one before, need to look into it better. But even if that's the case, is it worth sacrificing party buffs over and buying the scroll for it? The longevity of points for an average active scrolled party is not more than a day :o

It's definitely the best iteration out there that I've seen so far, so I'd say it's worth checking out! A little word of warning though, there's currently an event server called FWC going on and other servers besides from that are more quiet than usual. Don't be too alarmed about that, alternatively you could go and try out the FWC server for bonus exp and such :) Just remember that if you do, make sure to do the character transfer to the server you'd like that'll take place in around September/October ^^

Thanks for the compliment, I really appreciate it! <3 I know this was mostly an example, but I don't think I'll be jumping from one MMO to another specifically as that would also mean leaving Flyff behind and that's not what I want to do right now. My own fist rule with MMOs is that I only play one at a time due to the amount of time and commitment one takes to play them properly, nearly without exception x) I like RPGs a lot in general though and I want to build my channel in a wider spectrum towards my passions, so I'll be experimenting with those in the near future while trying out new formats and see how those will perform! And maybe I'll try out a different MMO in the future. I'm glad that you've enjoyed my content so far though, and hope you'll find my future stuff equally as pleasant :>

@@emenalus Im sure it will. Thats a big project. But i think its necessary to underline the differences between the classes to understand and bond with your character even more. It will be very helpful for new and old players to understand the strenght and weaknesses of every class so they can pick the optimal jobs for every task.

@@matorum4654 Yeah, I agree with that sentiment! I've given some short descriptions on the advanced job classes in the earlier job guides that I've made, but they certainly don't give the full picture and none of the classes are certainly built to be equal. I've been thinking about making these short crash courses about how each class plays out and how to gear them for each playstyle, but I'm currently working on compiling everything for an ultimate moneymaking guide - so I don't think I'll make these happen anytime soon! :) That being said, is there any particular class or particular playstyle that you're looking into knowing more about or were you thinking about the need for that in general? ^^
