A few Addictor’s made their way to Australia. I’ve repowered two. One had a 50hp 3 cylinder Yamaha with a jacking plate. The owners skied behind it. Too radical to sell in that configuration, I put a 25hp mercury on it. It was still unstable at speed but not a complete death trap. 😂
Best collection of the most well known (and best condition) mini-boats I’ve ever seen. That is coolest way possible to keep the pond scum and algae off of a pond!!! Thanks for sharing!
Hey just wanted to let you know your addictor mini boat 190 is in fact called a woody model there was only 500 made and yours looks to be repainted as the original would have some wood grain but not a bit on it. The sport model doesn’t have the rail on the front or the canopy top from factor. Another way to tell is to see if the wind shield came on it Because the sports model also didn’t have a wind shield and because the rub rail along the outside seems to be aftermarket just from looking at it addictor never manufactured a rub rail larger than the regular size they used.
Awesome collection! Impressive that they all appear to be in perfect working order! You also have a dream property! The new one will no doubt be even better!
Super cool man! Not weird at all. I agree with you on the addictor being number one. I remember some of them from the 80s. Thanks for sharing this cool collection! 👏🏾
My parents farm has a pond about this size. I'd love to pick up a little boat like that Addictor to do figure 8s like you did. I'd be visiting every weekend. Haha. As it is, we have a canoe, a couple kayaks, and a four person pedal boat that the family all have fun with, but a fast little motor boat would be a blast.
I crashed one of those mickey boats as a kid, that's right they let kids take them out alone!! Actually another kid hit me broadside, and when he did his bow rode right up onto the top of mine which turned it luckily but still left huge prop scars right down the side of the boat just above the throttle 😇
I don't mind the Mouse, or the Lark, but yeah nice man just beautiful. The Addictor your first pick is great to, got to wonder on putting the awning up though that kinda completes it lol.
I see an Addictor 190...! I had 1 and had a ton of fun jumpin' that thing. I was even able to waterski behind it with 2 skii's and then drop 1 off and ride 1 ski. Had a Tohatsu 40hp.
Great collection man!!! That’s every boaters dream pond!!! I was born and raised in Orlando and always wanted to find a mouse boat bc they were a blast as rentals!! I love the black speed boat!! And we had a jet mate on trade army dad’s dealership on
Cougar Cub out of Hamble, Southampton, England. As you probably know they built very successful championship Catamarans. We had one here years ago and was great fun to play about with. Got hooked got an 86 Cougar US1 33 now, Remember the Cub being a lot cheaper to run haha
What an awesome collection an piece of property how do you not have any mini jet boats I can't think of the name but you know the all aluminum mini jet boats the ones Cletus McFarland has
Used to live on Lake Bomoseen in Vermont. The campground at the north end had a handful of these mini boats. As far as I know they’re still sitting up there in storage always wanted one.
This video is so awesome!!!! I’ve been waiting for you to publish it since I saw the Tic Tok. I’m guessing the two Mercury’s we around where you live cause of the plants being in WI.
The right person owns them now i can sleep well knowing your gonna take good care of them but the Michigan thing has me worried about the ice sheets that can potentially wreck entire propertys and collections when high winds pick up it is devastating make sure there secure
Dear Nick,The YT Gods love you. Why else would your wonderful vid be suggested this morning to me? My only son was sot of named after you. We call him “Nick Danger”. Hell yes subscribed in seconds. My guess is that you are a neurosurgeon specializing in spinal deformities in painted turtles. Educational and entertaining. The highest calling. Thanks.
I forgot to mention I have 11 foot Hydrostream hustler I had a Yamaha 50 on that but I now use the motor on 16 ft pontoon The hydrostream is a mini tunnel hull
Omg the addictor is so nice it needs a more modern sister now someone needs to find on and restore it but modernize the interior controls and motor just to uave one you can really push to the limits
very cool... I live in Canada and I have a 1970 14 ft Purple metal flake Sidewinder with a Mercury Thunderbolt ignition Kiekhaefer 80 H.P. 2 stroke..... Not as small as those but on the same street.
Almost positive my uncle had that picklefork back in the late 80’s. Same thing, took forever to get on a step, but was bright red. Now i need call uncle Steve to see what he remembers about it.
They're all super cool but that mouse boat design is pretty cool in my opinion. I used to go swimming near SeaRay's factory in Oxford MI as a kid and it looks like some of the small RC hulls they'd test on the flooded gravel pit lakes.
You might risk the engine in the Kawi by converting to premix. Main bearings might not get sufficient lubrication without the oil injection. I hope you have checked.
The light blue one is the same color as the old Fort Wilderness rentals from the 70s at Disney. Looks the same too.I think the Disney Sprites had black hulls though.
Hey my name is Nick too and I'm the owner/builder of Lil Wake - Jet Addictor. I'm in MN and would love to meet up at some point. We should do a midwest mini boat weekend free-ride.
Hey Nick! Yes! I am very familiar with your addictor build! When you first started it I absolutely craved building one. Absolutely knocked that project out of the park and I’m still hoping one day to make it to the sortie or the mini boat ride out in the future!! (Ps I was also on the addictor Facebook page, my teal boat featured here was the profile pic for a while!) I have learned quite a bit more since I made this video and would love to do an updated one soon!
Awesome collection!!! I'm working on one myself. Currently have a 11' checkmate playmate with a 4 stroke 50hp Tohatsu. Tops speed was 50 gps mph with two people 6 gallons of gas and all are gear including boat snacks. Been looking for a single seat and a two seat Addictor to add to the collection. We have other boats but always end up in the mini boat. Lol Hope someday to make the trip to Arizona for mini boat madness Great video thanks again for sharing. 🚤,,🚤,,,🚤,,,,,,,,,
I had the 10 foot GW Invader. That was in the late 60s. Started with a 20 HP. Later got a 60 HP. 55 was legal but they didn’t make a 55 so I dot a sixty. It would do 70MPH. Later more stringent HP came in and that ended the making of the boat.
I have a 12' Mini eliminator Pickle Fork tunnel hull with a 2.5 60hp Mercury 2 stroke converted to a custom short shaft lower unit that I just pulled out of the water last winter to repaint the hull. I have had it for 3 years; my father had it before me. It is gnarly out on big lakes. My father has ringed her out wide open which was sketchy. I still haven't had it over 40mph. It gets sketchy. I want to get a mini V-hull for the engine that would be much more manageable to drive around. Something that can sit 3 or 3 people. I have been looking at kits. I might DIY my own mini Catermaran with foam and fiberglass. I make my own Fiberglass and carbon fiber RC boats from scratch. Should not be hard to scale one up and build. The build process is almost the same. Foam mold stringers and fiberglass. One day. Thanks for the inspiration. I really do love the Addicter boat you have. It is awesome! They are all incredible!
I have a GL with a 9.9 and a Morris minimax with a 35 HP 2 stroke honda race case. That Morris literally smokes anything on the lake up to flip over speed which I found out the hard way is about 76mph. “Kids don’t try this”
Sweet collection but the Aqua lark (I have a 1973 model) was around before the addictor and from what I heard is the someone split from Aqua lark and essentially made a copy of the hull and changed the cap.
I had one of those cub’s with the same stickers on it a few years ago still kick myself for selling it see it pop up for sale here and there try to get it back every time but I miss is had number plate of 4
incredible collection . Great video. Did Disney world use the aqua larks before the mouse boats? I remember as a kid in the 80s seeing mini boats on the lake that were not the mouse boats. Just curious. I would have to pick the merc cub Its too cool. But the jet mate is total 80s. Love it.
I have an addictor 190 dlx. I bought it in collage. It was the original florida gators mascot boa. Still have it 35 years later… oh yea it has a 30hp evinrude.
I had lark outboard model, with a merc early model with a 350 merc 2 stroke stroke raced in Sport C class in Calif years ago. trude the bottom and SS prop, i,d out the OMC,s but not the Tohhatus 30,s, did won two races., sold it with 30 hp chrysler on it.
Hello from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video are mini boats similar to a sea flee as I have a sea flee with a 15hp outboard mercury fiberglass built thanks
Are you gonna make a video when you get the black one to a bigger lake? Got a feeling that one is gonna be moving right along once you get air in the tunnel. Might get a little too sketchy to hold a camera at the same time. 😂
Finally. Some one who shares in my addiction. Im working to get to your level. Seriously impressive collection!
They're all cool in their own unique way. Thanks for sharing
Super fun video and thank you for making it. Your mini-boat collection is wonderful.
Wow! That is a pretty special collection! Thanks for sharing your collection with us....
This is really badass cool. These were never seen in the states back in.....the 🙄. Been boating for 45yrs +. Thanks for sharing my friend. Well done.
That jet mate brought back memories from my childhood. So much fun.

Thank you so much for the kind words! I truly appreciate it!

I’ve always have have “2 ft envy” every boat in my life has been 2ft longer than the last. I see the fun and attraction to these fun mini boats!!!!!
That's definitely a unique collection. 👌
Awesome collection! Impressive that they all appear to be in perfect working order! You also have a dream property! The new one will no doubt be even better!
Those boats are so cool! Real collectors toys! Congratulations!
Watermouse is unbelievable fun to drive. We had 2 at my dad's boat business and they were so cool
Very cool boats. We had them in Australia in the 80’s too.
Usaxtoo
I apologize, having a private pond that is too small for your collection of mini boats must be challenging.
Had a cougar cub as a 10 year old in the early 90’s. 👍🏻. I remember it was a very wet ride.
I would be addicted to these 😂
Gold. I always dreamed about building my own scale sized speedboat - enjoy!
Super cool man! Not weird at all. I agree with you on the addictor being number one. I remember some of them from the 80s. Thanks for sharing this cool collection! 👏🏾
Great collection
Cool video and sweet collection. I've have a 10' funjet in southcentral WI love the little boats.
Favorites are 2nd to last, followed by the first. Looks like they'd be so much fun on a big lake.

These are really cool! I’m from central Wisconsin, I work in Oshkosh almost daily and have never heard of those Mercubs!! Great video!
I crashed one of those mickey boats as a kid, that's right they let kids take them out alone!! Actually another kid hit me broadside, and when he did his bow rode right up onto the top of mine which turned it luckily but still left huge prop scars right down the side of the boat just above the throttle 😇
My dad has a jetmate growing up. That this was a blast. Small but fun and wouldnt mind having one again
U have an amazing collection!❤ id be super happy to just have one of these!
Awesome collection. You would be surprised by how of these are still alive and kicking in minnesota and wisconsin.
I don't mind the Mouse, or the Lark, but yeah nice man just beautiful. The Addictor your first pick is great to, got to wonder on putting the awning up though that kinda completes it lol.

Having that many miniature boats in not normal, dude.
Im more looking at that beautiful property...
You can never have enough boats, even if they are tiny!
Who wants to be normal if you’re having that much fun?!
It’s living the dream!
yeah , well tell that to my friend with 4 dusters and 3 darts .
What an awesome collection an piece of property how do you not have any mini jet boats I can't think of the name but you know the all aluminum mini jet boats the ones Cletus McFarland has
Super cool boats. All of them. I would love to have any if I lived on a lake I could take them out on.

I have a 1987 Funjet dt60 2 stroke inboard. Needs paint. Comes with trailer.
This video is so awesome!!!!

Awesome collection!!! U need either smaller boats or a bigger pond! Would love to se them really stretch their legs.
Great video. Great collection.
Those are great looking boats.
Cool collection.
A W E S O M E collection! Those look like a ton of fun.
That merc needs a tower of power... Would be a blast.
You might risk the engine in the Kawi by converting to premix. Main bearings might not get sufficient lubrication without the oil injection. I hope you have checked.
i love them all, thanks for sharing
Loved my jet mate. My dad loved it too. Would have been nicer with a 750cc engine. $4800 new with trailer in Indy in 1990. Miss it (and dad too!).
The light blue one is the same color as the old Fort Wilderness rentals from the 70s at Disney. Looks the same too.I think the Disney Sprites had black hulls though.

What the trim for the engine you add on the grey boat . I can’t understand the name . Yeah night and day for sure !! Nice collection
I have the addictor, , my uncle has the skylark. And we would set up milk jugs and race . So much fun

The sound of that Kawasaki reminds me of snowmobiling.
incredible collection . Great video. Did Disney world use the aqua larks before the mouse boats? I remember as a kid in the 80s seeing mini boats on the lake that were not the mouse boats. Just curious. I would have to pick the merc cub Its too cool. But the jet mate is total 80s. Love it.

I have a 1 of 11 mini boat built in Denmark in 1959. Got 98 mph with a 40 horse merc short shaft. She has tail fins and is in Maryland
Mercub was a mfg class you need 12 production boats to make a match class in the 1980’s.
Hello from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video are mini boats similar to a sea flee as I have a sea flee with a 15hp outboard mercury fiberglass built thanks
Not bad. Any size Cutoff on the upper end? How rare do you want them to be before considering them?
I think the one that has the cut off on the top is the pickle fork, im almost considering a long shaft for it thanks for checking out the vid!
@@NotNormalNick I got a small-ish boat as well, but its not rare... GW invader, I take it you have heard of it? Would like a jetstar as well...
have you ever tried pulling a tube
Are you gonna make a video when you get the black one to a bigger lake? Got a feeling that one is gonna be moving right along once you get air in the tunnel. Might get a little too sketchy to hold a camera at the same time. 😂
It would suck to have a pound that small. Just kidding. They look brand new. It would be soooo fun
