I have been doing this stitch for years and years. It makes up very quickly. Bet I have made at least ten Afghans with this stitch and several sweaters and cardigans. I'm making a summer top right now with this stitch. I hope that no one is selling it because it isn't anything new for sure.
Glynda McDonald It’s not the stitches that are sold. Usually, it’s a certain design using a stitch. It’s like the alphabet: we didn’t invent the letters, but we buy books, which are someone’s intellectual property. Same goes for the stitches: people buy the designed piece, which someone created, did the math for all sizes and added tips to the pattern. One buys not the stitch, but the intellectual property 🙂
@@Lenysea The Description on this video says "Easy Crochet Stitch #1". Therefore it IS the stitches that you are selling. This pattern of two rows of stitches are as old as the hills. Nothing new. As I said in my first comment, I hope that no one is selling this pattern. It would be the same as selling a pattern of the Granny stitch or similar old and original stitches. Just saying.......
Glynda McDonald Oh, I am not selling it 🙂 It’s a free tutorial for those, who can’t read charts/diagrams. But if I was to write the pattern for the top, with all the math done for all sizes, with directions and tips, THEN it would be for pay.
Many, many thanks for this fantastic good explanation! It was really easy to follow it properly. I started crocheting a top with this stitch tonight. Thanks again!
Lenysea - It's so nice to see a new video from you....you have been missed and I hope you have been well. After reading a couple of messages on here I wanted to let you know that I appreciate every single video that you post for us to watch. I do not care if you are crocheting a chain that is 1000 stitches long, or crocheting a shawl made with the Pineapple stitch/pattern I will watch your videos and appreciate what you are sharing with us. Your videos are very relaxing and extremely clear with your directions/instructions. I'm not sure why some people bother to post a comment if they are only going to complain or be unappreciative of your efforts. If they are not interested in the video I don't understand why they just do not move on to something else??? We all have had to self-quarantine due to the Coronavirus and I am sure there are a lot of people that are not happy about it, yet, it doesn't mean they should take their frustrations out on you because a video doesn't meet their expectations. I crochet to relax and watching your videos helps me do that!!! Thank you again and stay well!!! BTW, I believe the stitch you are doing is sometimes called the "V" Stitch. :-)
Cin Flishman Cindy, thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to write this nice comment! I appreciate you and all amazing subscribers I have. You are the main reason of my motivation! 💕
Thank you for all you do, I truly appreciate you and all the inspiration you give! You have encouraged me in my crocheting more than you'll ever know!❤

I agree with you it's the way someone uses the stitch and designs the piece that matters,xx

Hi, love this stitch, I went to see your patterns on Ravelry, but it tells me you aren't a registered user :( so sad. xxx
Karen Snell Yes, you have to register with ravelry. Try Etsy. It might work.
@@Lenysea I am registered sweetie, have been for years, Ive found you on Etsy now, but Ravelry is my preferred site xxxx
Karen Snell Oh, I am sorry for the misunderstanding. Try to search me by Elena Sandin Designs or the link in the description box. ☺️
