Fun Fact: In the Real Life Journal 3, Alex hirsch explains that the love potion only lasts for a few hours. So eventually Robbie and Tambry really did fall in love with each other without the influence of the Love Potion.

@@miguelbarreiros5564 yeah, Stanford confirmed that he fought a zombie that came from under the shack(his house at the time)and that he learned that the Northwests let the people die in the land slide and they left it under the house.
The riddle was just about the agents. They can be seen in the background multiple times throughout both these episodes
And several other episodes over the season. They actually paused on the part they appeared in for episode 9, but were too focused on the boy band cameo. XD

I think there was one mention about an Ex-Girlfriend Stan had in Gravity Falls, and a few more hints about an Ex of Eda in the Human World that hint at the two being a past item…and it’s basically confirmed by the Show creators of both shows, who are an item themselves, by the way.
It was in the DVD special features where stan explains how he met his ex wife in Vegas. The features he described about her are so so similar to eda
Eda used the pseudonym of 'marilyn' in the human realm, as indicated by that one episode of TOH with the barista, and there was that one side thing where Alex Hirsch in-character as Stan said his ex had that same name and described her as having 'bingo hall hair and one weirdly sharp tooth'. Apparently they got married in Vegas for one day before she stole all his winnings and his car.

“Were” an item. Alex Hirsch and Dana Terrace have since broken up. I remember hearing they’re still good friends though.
One thing I wish was mentioned in the show itself is that the love potion actually wears off. So after initially being chill, Robbie and Tambry actually did like each other and continued to be good to each other.
And there’s a very dead snake and/or badger. Pretty messed up, tbh lol
Basically it wore off before the two came to the fair, so in a way Robbie’s parents were right. Someone did indeed die.
The snake and the badger aren't dead! I think in later episode the two of them can be seen in the background, the snake still wraping around the badger. That means it's true love🥰🤣

14:18 To be fair, those two probably saw a lot of the monsters due to them being cops which would put them on The Society of the Blind Eye's radar. It would make sense as to why they're so stupid (along with the townsfolk) since the memory gun causes some brain damage.

It's in a DvD commentary, Stan describes his Ex-wife and It's basically Eda, they were married for 24 hours in Vegas and she stole his car and all his bet money (It's in the commentary for the Pterodactyl episode)
I never noticed the whole “hopeless case eh?” With the fingers and “so young people like air balloons eh?” With the sang fingers 😭😭 lmao I don’t know why I never noticed that small detail
So this episode, Love God, got censored cuz Disney scared of gays. The most the crew could do was give Mabel a rainbow sweater and imply the threesome in the back of love god’s car. Originally the mixed race couple in the diner were supposed to be two women, for example.
GF did make it slightly easier for show runners to put gay in their shows, which Dana Terrance later did. She really had to fight tho.
And her show still got canceled due to Amity and Luz being in a relationship :(

I would've appreciated Owl House a lot more if there was a barrel of pugs in the background, but then it probably would've been WAY too many references to GF rather than OH being its own show

To this day, I still call this a massive wasted opportunity to make Dipper x Pacifica canon, they really make a nice couple, and the fact the Alex didn't went further on this is kinda disappointing, but still a great show tho...

In journal 3 book, Dipper wrote his thought on Pacifica about this episode, he said when she hugged him, she smelled like champagne and flower, he also noted she looks good and even wrote that he felt a vibe between them but he crossed that part (maybe due to embarrassment, happened a lot when Dipper wrote about wendy)
2. in official lost legends comic : Dipper and Pacifica got more development, Pacifica hugged Dipper like this episode but at the end Pacifica texted Dipper to forgot about the hug, but Mable was the one who texted back and explained that Dipper didnt have cellphone, Mable then teased how Pacifica got a crush on Dipper and even asked "when's the wedding", Pacifica got annoyed but she didnt deny Mable's word... the story also said "Dipper learned that the best place for romance is trapped inside a sack"... a moment Dipper shared with pacifica earlier
3. in official coloring book Mable were thinking about matchmaking and mention Dipper and Pacifica, Dipper initially reject that idea but Mable said this is after she heals Pacifica rich-girl attitude with friendship and that left Dipper thinking about it

3. Pacifica almost made a deal with bill in her dreams. After she woke up, she immediately saved dippers number on her phone. And it stated how she never slept better in her life after that. 🥹
Im a firm believer that if they had more time, they more likely would have fleshed out this pair more. Maybe not as soon as a couple, but as friends first! While its highly teased, it would be great to see these two deepen their friendship first before the eventual crushes hahaha

Fun fact: Episode 10 is the only episode where Soos or Stan don't show up.
I don't see nearly enough reactors discussing the bell that Pacifica's parent's use on her. It is highly likely that Pacifica's parents were abusive and used discipline or training as an excuse. They would tell her to do something. Then, if she refused, they would ring the bell to signal the final warning. If she still would not comply, they would torcher her in some way (likely physically). This trained her to associate the ringing of the bell with the torture and make her more likely to submit in the future. I'm glad the show included this, but wish it was a little more visible or focused on. Its oddly terrifying.
In journal 3 it said that they would cutoff her credit cards and ground her so nothing physical.

Fun fact:The song Goat and a Pig was made by prolific musician and comedian Neil Cicierega, aka Lemon Demon. His sister Emmy was a storyboard artist on the show(and toh!) so he had an in to try to make a few songs for Alex. Goat and a Pig was the only one that ever made it into the show proper, but some cut songs include; Two opening theme song concepts, one instrumental and and one with lyrics(the lyrical one was later remixed and put onto his most recent album under lemon demon as an extra track titled ‘the moons request’), and even a villain song for Bill that would’ve been apart of Weirdmaggedon called ‘It’s gonna get weird’. There was one more song that actually ended up being used, though not in the show. I think it was called ‘Stans the man’ or something to that affect.
The Lumberjack Ghost (real name: Archibald Corduroy, ancestor of Wendy Corduroy) is voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson whose other GF roles include Sherriff Blubs (like you thought), Big Henry (the Lilliputtian who died in The Golf War), Tats (the guy with the tattoos) and Chutzpar (the first Manotaur Dipper encountered in Dipper Vs. Manliness).

Love so strong, love so big 🎶 The songs in this show are pure gold. Oh I just noticed the reference to Dipper & Candy and it reminded me of Harry Potter & Cho Chang - Dipper has a mark on his forehead too.
Eda's design is based on a funny story Alex Hirsch told in character as Stan Pines in a DVD commentary. It's not REALLY canon, but it is funny. The audio is in this link. There is a better version floating around, but that one has spoilers. This one is completely spoiler safe as long as you've seen a few episodes of both shows.

That's something that bugged me about 9, it's probably the most blatant one showing mable causing problems but then not having to deal with the consequences because 'oh it happens to work out anyway'. Still the hot air balloon gag was the best scene in the episode. And yes I have met people like robbie's parents, and honestly they're great people to have around because they're the best encouragement you can get when things get rough.
Episode 10 is one of the most amazing in the series though; the jokes, the style, the storytelling, and the horror!
Next 2 eps are just something else.
Brace yourself. Save for the finale, the next episode is the best in the series.
