THIS is what someone with natural singing talent sounds like. No Auto-Tune, no electronic enhancement, nothing. Just raw, original talent unlike a majority of so called singers today. Luther Vandross didn't have swag; he had CLASS. There will never be another like him.

It`s the words to this song that hit me to my core when this song came out. I had feelings for a girl and she knew i was a good guy. But she chose the other guy in which he broke her heart. But my heart was broken by her, and she wanted me and i couldnt see myself with her after the fact. Like the song said Give me the reason to want you back. I remember this song in the summer of 1986, I was 16 years old about to be 17 lol. Music was so good for me during the 60`s, 70`s ,80`s, and 90`s ( The soundtrack to my life.). All I listen to is old school music. So I agree Nina, Luther was magnificent.

So glad I got to experience the 80's and 90's. It was a magical time, looking back it seems unreal. People talked to each other, you had friends who cared, the clothes were outrageous, singing and dancing in the streets, feeling free and that it would never end. I feel sad for this last generation.
