  • MESSAGE:
Apologies for the technical and production issues relating to audiovisual quality, lighting, et cetera. We hope to do better in the future as we continue to work on projects about issues close to our heart - particularly relating to this beautiful country that we call home, Malaysia. This is an entirely independent, self-funded project and we hope to improve in terms of the quality of our delivery as well as the content itself. We appreciate constructive criticism and feedback and look forward to many more educational and fun projects that we hope will add to the discourse taking place in our society.
    ABOUT:
In conjunction with Merdeka and Malaysia Day, this project was undertaken with the intention of conveying and putting on display the diversity of Malaysia beyond what we are used to seeing on textbooks and in official documents. We believe that our identity and strength as Malaysians are anchored in this diversity - while each culture and ethnicity has much to offer in individual uniqueness, a mutual uniqueness also exists in the fusing of these cultures as seen in the immense variety of subethnicities and subminorities. We hope that this video will provide a fun and educational way to reflect on how a person’s appearance is only a small part of the mosaic that is our national identity.
