For podcasting I recommend using a dynamic microphone as it will reject a lot of room sound and background noise. The most important part is to make sure you are as close as you can comfortably be. Using a pop filter can help reduce sibilance and plosives as well.

It's a solid, lower-cost choice for sure. Check out ColorPlus for a bit more punchy color and a built-in resistance to higher temperatures and humidity. Pretty cool stuff.

Full commitment while kneeling. Gives your photos a better angle and perspective. Many people shoot only while standing and so they give up the full view and potential of their photography.
