Ruger makes great guns but in the 22 I went with the dimon back side kick it holds 9 rounds of 22 LR and change the cenender and u have 9 rounds of 22 magnum
It's nice to have different barrel lengths available, but on a 22LR pistol you need adjustable sites. The point of impact will differ greatly depending on what type of ammo is chosen. I know its an additional expense but its a whole lot nicer to have all the brands of ammo and all weights of projectiles hit right where you want them to

When you say silver do you mean Stainless Steel polished. Looks just like nichol. My Vaquero is in polished stainless steel. Beautiful. I purchased a Schofield. nicho platted and it is the beautiful revolver that I have ever seen. It has fake grips in in faux pear which I made and when I bought some stock grips which I did make my own. I made them to look like real old grips. I have since made my own grips plus what I did for my friends.
Thanks for posting this video, Rob. I finally got my Ruger Wrangler Birdshead today after waiting over a month from my local gun shop. I ordered some premium gun grips for it, similar to the pearl ones you had in another video. I can't wait to shoot it!
Didn't know this came out when I got my 7 1/2 one probably leave this one alone happy with my birdshead and the reg one and now gotta shoot the 7 1/2 one when I can so much to do so little time to do it
That burnt bronze is a beautiful color. I've got a black and a silver one with the bird's head grips. Buds gun shop has a silver one with the 7.5 inch barrel in stock as of yesterday. Great video Mr. Rob!
I was available I purchased it for my husband then I received an email this morning saying that I needed to contact him immediately so I did and they said that they are out of stock and gave me a bunch of excuses of why it didn't say that online My feeling is it was in stock but one of their members must have wanted it so it was taken for me to be given to somebody else
Real nice shooter. Did well for a short barrel. Went to the Dark Side today & got in Viridian laser for the Barkeep. 🙊🙈 Should have checked to see if it fit the Wrangler also. May try in the future. Lol. Old kids & their toys. You got a keeper!! 👍
@@HamiltonOutdoors It still fit the holster Marc made me with no issue. Weather permitting I may try it with 22lr Punch & 22wmr cylinder both so impact may be close. I hope!! Tiny screws but fits on easily. 👍

I shoot often with my daughter, she’ll remark, good shooting Dad - She can see where I’m hitting the target but I can’t. Big fan of Ruger. I have the original Wrangler and the Single-Six. Ok everyone Ii have a 3 2/4 barrel Super Wrangler on layaway. I still haven't found anywhere that this is a variation of the original 5 1/2 barrel. Anyone else here of that length of barrel? Mine is the same bronze color as this one
I don't know I guess the shorter barrel. Ruger has for a long time had their larger caliber guns available in what's called a sheriff's model. So I guess that's where it picked up the name from.
How about a fresh coat of paint on your steel target for us at home viewers to see bullet impact... believe it would help you as well as you stated you couldn't tell either... just saying...!!🦧

Guess I would more likely purchase the birds head rendition in that barrel length as I feel it would conceal and pack easier

Mine came with wooden grips and a leather holster made by ruger. I think I have the only one. Can't find 1 video review on this combo.
They make those for Talo they're usually a special edition of some kind.

Hey Rob, what makes this a Sheriffs Model? Is it the shorter barrel? I love short barreled guns. Love a challenge.
I don't know I guess the shorter barrel. Ruger has for a long time had their larger caliber guns available in what's called a sheriff's model. So I guess that's where it picked up the name from.

You are definitely correct I should paint my targets more often. I'm going to start doing that more in the future.
