Hello, thanks for doing this video. My experience with these guns is that the Wranglers (regular version and Super) are head and shoulders above the Rough Riders. I have a regular Wrangler and a Super and really like them. Built well and 100% reliable. I also have 2 Rough Riders, which are total junk, each bought from a different place months apart. The Rough Riders are little more than a kid’s toy, they’re built like crap with deplorable quality control and are extremely unreliable (light strikes in every cylinder). I so wanted to like the Rough Rider but just can’t due to the reasons mentioned. Anyone considering either of these firearms, do yourself a huge favor and get a Wrangler. Don’t waste your hard-earned cash on a junk Rough Rider.
Agree 110%! Taurus literally destroyed the rough riders recasting the frames and changing almost everything on the revolver. Light strikes, screws falling out, horrible finish and broken parts new in the box. Never have had one single issue with any of my Rugers ever. I would also recommend the super wrangler 100 times over the taurus.
I like your videos. You're down to earth, an average Joe like the rest of us so you're not the best shot in the world. I can't hit the ground with my hat . 😂 still having fun at the range
That's why I own guns. Primarily for enjoyment because I do love shooting. And I like to think that in a self-defense situation I could probably hold my own if I shoot fast and run lol only problem with that is I'm old and fat.
Nice shooting Rob, looks like the edge goes to the Wrangler, I have owned Ruger Single Sixes and they were very good shooters, I finally shot my Rough Ryder and it did not disappoint, Glad to see ya shooting ...Cheers
The Super Wrangler looked good especially with the Armscor ammo. The Super seems more accurate than the regular Wrangler not just because of the sights. Both revolvers are fun. Take care. 👍 🙏
I don’t have the super wrangler but the I have two heritages and one Chiappa 1873. I plan on getting a super wrangler but want to see if they come out with different barrel lengths. Great video rob!
Once your cataracts get bad enough, the sights and the target get blurry. After removal I can see the sights and the picture on the wall I aimed at so much clearer. Vision is now 20-15. Now if I can make it back to the range to see if removing the cataracts made me a better shot.
And on a separate note, it’s always amazing how people handle background noise. I’d that neighbor was blaring 70’s rock & roll, I wouldn’t even notice. That barking dog is annoying enough to accidentally - never mind. What a cool back he has. lol
I have a rough rider , bought it and get sick. Didn't get to shoot it for about 14 months,,when I shot it couldn't hit anything with,,,had two other guys shoot it with same results,,Put it in a video, shot 3 rounds, at 15 yards it shoots 3" to the left. Called Heritage's arms and was told they couldn't do anything for me because it was out of warranty

A single action is my favorite type of gun. I started out on autoloaders. There's just something about those cowboy guns.

Because I typically make my videos between two and five p.m. and most of my neighbors are at work. So really nobody to bother during the day.
