    That stylist is a keeper! Having someone show you how to keep your look fresh was so generous. Love the technique but really impressed by the character of your stylist

    That was great, nice to see a hairdresser show a client that they can do it themselves!

    Just did this and it’s absolutely PERFECT!! I put a bit of Wella T14 on it after and I look like I just walked out of the salon. So happy!

      Isn't T14 really dangerous to use and meant to fry your hair...... you mean after the bleach as a toner or instead of??

      @@Izzywizzy74 My hair is very fragile, but the toner doesn’t damage mine.

    If my hairstylist looked like that, I’d not want to do anything to extend the time between appointments

    Thank you so much for your very informative video. I followed your method with excellent and satisfying results. I do need to add a few more highlights but the toothbrush was a great idea. Took about 5 minutes to put the bleach on.

    Thanks so much for this as I couldn't keep my hair appt. Sitting for 2 or 2 1/2 hours with a mask over my face isn't doable for me

    Love this :-) It's saved my hair too so I can grow it out longer between full set highlights.

    How did they do the rest of the hair?

    You don't say what bleach and developer you use and how much?????????

  • @jodileigh571

    Was her hair teases around her hairline prior to applying highlights?

  • @Izzywizzy74

    I thought you were not meant to let it dry out???? so obviously just the blonde bits? Kind of hard to pull them out.. I have just done it right now and it is totally dried out but let's see.... cos hers looks so lovely...

    what kind and how much bleach and developer did you use on this demo video.... my hair has been previously coloured but just want to brighten up around my face.... my colour is about the same as the model you are using.

    • @luaneketcherd7996
      @luaneketcherd7996 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bleach needs to be creamy like sour cream. 20developer, like 1scoop bleach , 2scoops developer. Important is to be creamy consistence not watery, runny mixture. You can use 10developer also, will take a little longer to brighten up, just watch the hair. Should be to a yellow color like a banana 🍌 peel color.

      @@luaneketcherd7996 I have done the 20 vol and its kind of orangey so anyway I sent to the hairdresser and it is all sorted but I want more bright face framing hilites and for some reason, she doesn't listen lol.... grr - so I am going to attempt myself and use 20 on a few blond bits I pull out......and hope for the best......

    That's some fried hair

    • @debmauritson5016
      @debmauritson5016 5 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Yeah, but not fried from the little bit of highlighting he instructed her to do. I wish he would have given the ratio of bleach to developer. Or maybe use a high lift instead of a bleach for do it yourselfers at home so as not to over bleach. This works though. I've done it with a jumbo mascara brush thing you buy at Sally's for brush on highlights.

      @@debmauritson5016 Me too!!! I'm going thru comments and this is it... lol.... I have used 20 but it always comes out orangey - then I try the purple or blue shampoo and i hate it cos it pulls too purple even leaving it on for a few mins.........

      She has frizzy hair my hair texture is same without hair dye I use almond oil tiny bit to tame the frizz good for waves and curls. And castor oil on my edges.
