@@summa1749 I personally would describe scene as being a more glam version of emo, although it can be argued that it was separate from emo. It wasn't a music genre, although music was a big part of it (crunk rap, metalcore, post-hardcore, indie electro, pop punk, emo, etc). It was largely a fashion thing. Honestly, a lot of what I see now in pop culture is pretty much an updated version of scene. Its influence is strong in a lot of things today. The scene of today is more urban/trap based, whereas the scene of then had more of an emo foundation, if you get me. Also, it had a big internet presence too (if you're not aware of it, internet at the time wasn't as engrossing and ubiquitous as it is now). Like the "e-boy"/"e-girl" thing of now, it was considered more of a "counterculture" thing, an "anti" thing. Now it's Instagram and TikTok, but back then the scene kids were associated with Myspace... (Edited for typos)
Alternative scenes have always been a thing, and even if they may not be relevant rn, there are people still active in those subcultures! They are not all the same!
I looooove your page!!! I am a new stylist (assisted for 2.5 years) have been behind the chair for about 6 months and you have helped me become soooo much better I can’t tell you enough how helpful your page has been!!! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!!!
😱 Did you were reading my mind?? I’ve spend a few days trying to find information about this technique, and now you did a video?!! God really loves me ❤️
Hey Jamie! I'm apprenticing at a salon in the Nortern Toronto area using primarily Davines colour and haircare, but we do use some L'Oreal lines as well and some Redken toners too. Something that I've learned from a colourist with the Shades EQ toners is that when you run your hands through the hair enough times, it lathers like a shampoo, and it shows less of those tones. So once applied, just leave it on the hair and the toner will do its work :)
I want to skip on some parts but I can't because I just love to listen to her voice!! I've never imagined how a hair coloring tutorial would be so soothing to watch and to hear. Love this vid, I wanna try this so I can glow up this quarantine!!
I started foiling backwards like you and although it took a little getting used to it’s been not only giving me amazing results but I’m moving faster, love your channel and your content 😊💕
Personal, I'm too nervous to put 30 volume on those front hairs, and I usually do them last. Just from my own personal experience on my own head, ive had really bad breakage before, and I don't want that to happen to my clients. Buttttt, my fears aside I really enjoyed your video, free education is ALWAYS appreciated!!! Thank you so much for taking the time to show us your technique!!❤️
Literally so happy I found your channel. I’m currently a cosmetology student at Paul Mitchell. I’ve learned so much but I want more color/blonde education so thank you for this channel!!! 😭💛🧡
I personally love your videos I’m learning so much and it’s making me want to go back into the salon ( Working ) now .. so exciting and very informative !!!!
Your videos have been so helpful and given me so much inspiration to get back to doing more hair. Could you maybe show some videos in the future on how you transition blondes to darker brown balayage? You do beautiful work
Love how informative your videos are! Personally, I would never use 30 volume (even with olaplex) around the hairline. If you use small enough sections, you really need no more than 10 volume... I always find those hairs (virgin or colored) are always more fragile... but that's just me! Your end result is beautiful 💜
Love this!!!! 🌈🌈🌈 I can’t think of her name but the X-men lady with the blonde piece, this kinda similar to that!! You could call it the X men balayage!!
Ur work!! Omg amazing. These girls dont know how lucky they r to have their hair done by a passionate professional like u. U r so. Passionate abt ur work...love love love it. Lots of love from pakistan... 😘😘😘
I’m a new cosmetologist - and I’ve learned so much from you! Any time I interested in a new technique I go straight to your channel to see if you have a video. I feel like our styles are very similar ; making it very easy for me to learn from you! Thank you for sharing your wisdom💕
Beautiful work like always. I really enjoyed this video, I been learning from you a lot and I appreciate the effort you put for us to learn, like how you film n mention every single detail. Thanks a lot.
I would love to do this with my curly hair ❤️❤️❤️ Maybe instead of blond in the front use a silver/grey because I have grey hair and I’d rather embrace it now that ignore it to be a surprise for later
Hi Jamie! You said that there wasn't any right or wrong when it comes to appy olaplex bond 2. As far as I know from their course, applying it before the color makes the cuticle close and the color last significantly less! I lf you know something that I don't, it would be cool to know it.
It’s actually the “quarantine “ look 2020
Beautiful I wish I had my hair highlighted like that it's wonderful.
This is actually why I’m here lmao
Ahahaha
She’s right, super low maintenance lmao
Bruh 2022
Never colored her hair before?!! Omg her natural color is GORGEOUS! Also love the end result and how real you keep it!
Thanks so much for watching!
Love both of yall's channels!
Sam Vay Right?! Looks awesome- but untouched hair! I’d buy her hair! 😂😂😂😂😂
I can’t leave my hair alone.
@@JamieDana that is so wonderful I wish I could have my hair highlighted summer colour tone Sunkissed blonde.
Hi sam lol 😅
Ok girl. I’ve been in the business for 15 years and this is hands down some of the best color work I’ve seen on TH-cam 👏
She predicted the e-girl look
Actually, it was already a trend in the early 2000's so...

Quarantine: *yes*
Literally here, bored, about to dye my hair at home.

I want to skip on some parts but I can't because I just love to listen to her voice!! I've never imagined how a hair coloring tutorial would be so soothing to watch and to hear. Love this vid, I wanna try this so I can glow up this quarantine!!
