    The result is excellent, but this is not simple balayage. This is a simple highlighting with soft blunting at the root. Balayage is a completely different technique.

      I think she is saying balayage imitation so that people who have no idea can imagine what she is talking about and find her video (instead of using professional correct wording which is contra productive as this video is for non-professionals) I think

    • @kelalahere

      I just find it funny that ya'll say "professionals" as if not every single person in the world can't get a beauticians license lmao (it's easy, and no one cares about names. They care about looks) looks like she killed it to me 🤔

    I have everything I’ve done mine many times and my hair is very light blonde naturally and I just add a few highlights once a year usually to brighten up the blonde I’m very thankful that it’s light enough naturally to blend in as it grows out…

    LOVE this result!
    I actually never wear gloves, as I find they make it so hard to really FEEL the hair and to know which strands I've done and if they're properly saturated. I only wear gloves if the colour or toner is dark.

    I toned my highlighted hair using 10 volume developer & toner and it slightly lifted the natural (non highlighted) dark blonde areas so that they have a slight dark orange glint! All of my research had said 10 volume only deposits, doesn't lift. Has anyone else had this issue ?

More hair and makeup videos please I love your haircut

    That was Excellent! I'm doing mine today!!!! Finally built up the courage. I have #4/5 root color, and grow out... My blonde is white!!!! wooooooooo! This is gonna be interesting...! I had shoulder surgery and kinda gave up on my hair, but got my flexibility back so.... I for the first time in my life cut my hair during the lockdown into a pixie because I couldn't keep up with the blonding like that. So... I now have a mullet hahaha 😆 Thank God I know how to install extensions and do color, I'm just nervous! Your video and one other helped me the most but yours sealed the deal for me to do it! Thank you! And you look amazing! 😍

    Not a professional here but just seems like common sense to me that when you apply the bleach and fold the foil... shouldn't you fold the foil inwards vertically and then flip up horizontally to prevent the previously bleached hair from resting against the newly bleached root and further causing damage? Like make it so there's protection between the wet bleach and old bleached hair? Kind of seems pointless to do all of that work and just wrap it all up into the foil together. Just me?

    It seems like if you are doing block hair sections (like in the front) back to back you could do away with the foil and paint on the hair in sections instead. You wouldn't have to go all the way to the roots either like in bayalging.

    W O W! This would be my dream color! This came across my feed due to extensive searching for how to DIY using Schwarzkopf products. I used the Wella Blondor for 20+ years but the last few years I can't get past the orange stage - it just doesn't lift enough for my hair type. Yours turned out absolutely stunning! Thank you for the great tutorial.

    • @StephBarronLadylux
      @StephBarronLadylux  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You back comb the hair as it removes some of the hair from the section to create a blurred/ blended application if you don’t backcomb and you apply bleach straight on it will leave a block harsh line which isn’t the balayage look. I hope this helps x
