    When I make peanut butter, I follow it with peanut butter chocolate macchiato's - a container full of boiling hot coffee does a great job of cleaning up the container and tamper without wasting anything.

    I should be a Vitamix sales person. Seriously, I’ve turned so many people onto these. The ones that say, “I’m not spending $500 on a blender.” Have all become converts. Their old, cheap blenders that spent years dusty in a cupboard unused have been given away and the Vitamix is on the counter used often. They don’t break down. They do waaaaay more than what a typical “blender” can do (you can’t, or shouldn’t put celery or ice etc. in a sunbeam, kitchenaid or whatever) I learned the hard way, went through 3 of the cheaper ones, this thing you have forever.

    • @VitamixCorporation
      @VitamixCorporation  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! You Vitamix is equipped with thermal protection, meaning if it does get too warm it will simply turn itself off if it gets to warm and then resume working once it has properly cooled down. The best way to prevent this from happening is by taking your machine to its highest speed within the first few seconds of blending, the cooling fan will keep the motor cool that way, and it will blend better!

    • @norakat
      @norakat ปีที่แล้ว

      So the cooling fan is not engaged unless it’s on high?

    • @VitamixCorporation
      @VitamixCorporation  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The cooling fan runs on high when the machine is in high speed, it also blends best at high speed, that is what we recommend. You will only use lower speed for things you do not want to fully blend, like a salsa.

      Hi there! The 64-ounce container that came with the Ascent A3500i can be used for making nut butters, as well as occasionally grinding coffee and grains. • @VitamixCorporation
      @VitamixCorporation  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi! You will need to use the tamper almost the whole time when making nut butters, air pockets form rather quickly. Also when the nut butter is blending it starts to get warm from the friction caused by the speed of the blades, once is cools, the nut butter will thicken up some.

      It can be done, but you have to be patient. You might have to remove and scrape several times in the smaller containers because you can't use a tamper stick. When I use the smaller containers, I "seed" the blades with an inch or so of peanut butter to create enough flow to get it all moving around in there.
