Yes, that Cloud Peak 2 seems a very good tent for the money. I'm in two minds, the Peak 2 or the Mongar 2 another Naturehike tent. Good luck with your channel.
Put the guy lines the other way so the tensioners are near the pegs, only saying as the tensioners where at an awkward place touching the poles. Love your dog.

Hi mate been living near by all my life and now that's all I want to do is explore this beauty I live in. Many adventures to come. And yeah the bag is a great weight saver but I haven't tested it yet in lower temperatures see how it performs. Get out there bud, so much to see 😁👍

Hi Dai, just come across your channel and now subbed 👍 What are your thoughts on the Naturehike Cloud Peak. Have you tested it in strong winds. There doesn’t seem to be as many sellers of the Cloud Peak on AliExpress. Just wondering if they are fazing this model out. I have a Lanshan 2, I always fear it is going to collapse on me in strong winds. It did once whilst out in the Lake District. On that occasion the tent pegs just wouldn’t hold the guy lines which were attached to the tracking pole points. I have bought some delta pegs. Hopefully they should hold firm. Wondering whether I should invest in the Cloud Peak. Cheers. 👍
Hi Mike, well for starters it will weigh an extra kilo than the lanshan. It weighs around 2 kilo 300 grams but I think that is a respectable weight for a free standing 2 man tent. I have been in light winds but nothing crazy. I did see another video on TH-cam that this guy modified it by changing out the poles for expensive ones.but obviously that's a bit of work involved.the tent does seem sturdy and I wrap the guy lines around the poles to make it stronger. Put it this way I'm sure it would stand much longer than the lanshan without a problem. I will have to check them pegs out as I own the lanshan 1.5 tent. The middle size but I have not used it yet. I love my cloud peak though 😁.. She's a good looker lol. Keep intouch dai

Out of curiosity, have you done a taste test of that milk stout? Milk stout is not usually strong like that one--wondered what it tastes like? Jasper is great!
I will be honest that the bottle was empty when I brought it home 🙈..i totally deserved it after a week of work lol. The milk stout was the beer I didn't drink and its been in my bag 2 trips later and I still haven't opened it. I shall do a taste test for you and mention you in my next solo wild camp video. Hoping you get one in before the end of September. Videos may get slow now that winters drawing in. But I am willing to do a winter camp.jasper had a reaction from something that day. Your the second person thats going to camp there after I've been.he pitched the tent in the exact same spot as me and sent me the pics. That was a very good find👍
Lovely video, I have the Cloud-Peak 2 and use it here in Scotland. I've been through my Pot Noodle phase but I do love A-ONE noodles (a Thai brand) which I get from my local Oriental supermarket. The Shrimp version even has little dehydrated shrimps in. Scrummy. I have a few "festival bladders" used for smuggling booze into festivals, Amazon sell them for about 50p each. Decanting wine, spirit, etc., into them lessens the weight and lowers glass-break risk in the hills, but you seem to have one for some spirit by the side of your kitchen? PS Life & Death IPA is very nice indeed, our local Tesco has it and I'm into it.

If you haven't seen them, treadlitegear have 11 gram rechargable tent lanterns. So tiny I leave it on the celing hook of the tent and just wrap it up with the tent. Lots of other kit too, cuben fibre stuff sacks (mess sacks, etc.).

I really enjoyed myself on this trip Mark. Yep it was totally stunning up there. Maybe there might be a better route up to the way I went as it was very overgrown on the tracks. Was so peaceful there. Did not see one soul the whole time I was there so I'm guessing not many people go there.always worth another visit, I certainly will be going back for sure 👍👍hope all is good bud 👍

My comment/positive: That's the exact same route I took up there in 2013 Dai. I to enjoyed it - great views all around. I took a look when Simon and Mark uploaded there's but didn't see an upload at the time but caught up now. Really pleased your day worked out - it makes a difference having good buddy's out there. Note: you ignored totally my time on the hill and spoke about the guys, which was great but added they would 'keep your channel going.' Not one mention of the hill or of my experience on it. This is where our break down started - where I became disgruntled.
Evidently, it is about your channel and my views weren't so outlandish. I mean no mention of the hill in your reply and that's what the video was supposed to be about as well as the guys. Yeah, I have been positive and like the twins have only mentioned things that I felt deserved to be mentioned - and all recent to. 13 out of 14 A GOOD RECORD - I'm vindicated here.

Hi mate, jasper also likes to pinch my food to if I'm not looking but yeah it was pretty funny lol.. Im using the dji mavic mini bud. If you are thinking of getting one my advice would be to make sure you buy the combo set and get some nd filters for the camera.thanks for watching bud 👍
