Hi Mark, may I comment: each pole of the Cloud peak 2 should go over one pole and under another. This interlocks the poles much better and makes for a more stable structure, especially in high winds. Great videos 👍🏻
Just checking out your back catalogue of videos Mark. Good charity, good lads. An issue close to my heart as is homelessness- in 21st century Britain it shouldn't exist for anyone.
Great video and wild camp, I have the very same tent, a good tip is to tie the top hat/cap onto one corner permanently then you simply hook the remaining sides up 👍
Very beautiful and cold new adventure mate, so cool that you support HFH, you are a great man. Indeed the scenery is breathtaking and I really enjoyed your cozy camp out there. And just in case you want to kill some spare time until your next adventure, I just uploaded a new hike as well ;) Take care out there. Best wishes, Mario
A good tip I saw is to keep it attached with a little carabiner all the time. Firstly you know it'll always be there, secondly, it makes it so much easier to get it right and thirdly, it won't blow away if you're setting up in high winds.
i have got to say that was agony to watch bro and you said ill see you in a bit when it was sunny and when you came back it was dark lol well ye made me laugh i just got myself one the other week but havn,t been out in it yet and i wouldn,t say it was a 4 season more 3
Wee tip for you and anyone else struggling with the top hat. There are three short sides and 3 long sides. One of the three short sides is longer than the other two short sides. That one( the longer one) goes over the section with the mesh. Once you have it set up properly , leave it permanently attached with zip tie or something. Got this from Karens Gone Wild. Check her you tube channel out. Same tent. Enjoyed the video, thanks for posting.
Cheers Graeme buddy, It was that cold it was tough to film and I think my brain froze at times. I will defo check the wind forecast before the next one buddy lol. ATB
To be honest , those windy condition wouldn`t put me off of going camping.Just stay away from widow makers and your fine.I think that adverse conditions are enjoyable when your nice and cozy in the sleeping bag and in a tent you can trust.Cant beat it in my opinion.Especially the sound of rain against the fly sheet.
Had me in bulk laughing watching you struggle with the top hat of your cloud peak.... I laughed knowing that EVERY time I use mine I'm exactly the same.... Definitely need to put some colour coded tabs on it to make it less stressful.... Great video though mate keep it up...

The beauty of this tent is , put the poles in then move it to a good position ,,tie off the poles with string until you clip the tent on 😁👍
