- [Dimensity 9300 vs 9200+ vs Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 vs 8 Gen 2 vs Apple A17 Pro] I compare the Vivo X100 Pro (MTD9300) to the Xiaomi 13T Pro (MTD9200+), iQOO 12 (SD8Gen3), Samsung S23 Ultra (SD8Gen2 OC), and iPhone 15 Pro Max (A17 Pro) in this extremely DETAILED Benchmark comparison where I run through AnTuTu v10, Geekbench 6, and 3DMark (Wild Life Extreme & Solar Bay). With new MediaTek and Qualcomm chipsets, it's going to be a tough battle - Who do you think will come out on top?

Summary is that the VIVO X100 PRO with DIMENSITY 9300 Is the beast
S23 Ultra is still a good buy for the next 3 years... Still rocking the results... So stable and consistent...
Even the battery drop which is itself impressive as it dropped only 6% and other dropped 9% in antutu
@@69Gavy69 and also the temperature on the S23 Ultra is lower than other phone too, and that make it more comfortable to use compared to others. Samsung had done a great job this year
Alhudulillah s23 ultra user 😊😊
@@KhaiNguyen-xr3imalso less heating = less battery degradation
The not overclocked Gen 2 in other phones was always better lol
The dimensity 9300 is so interesting. Despite having no efficiency cores it was able to sustain more stability than the 8 gen 3 . But this can be a manufacturer's fault like in the IQOO. The main performance of this chip will be revealed when 8 gen 3 for galaxy will be announced.
i think so too , iqoo is much cheaper than the others so it must have cut corners somewhere maybe poor cooling
@@SyunGupta exactly
Is Mediek Dimensity 8200 good?? I don't know that much, that's why I'm asking.
Samsung having a much garbage performance 😂😂😂
No, the 8 Gen 3 has an overheating problem like Gen 1.
Dimensity 9300 is just something else!! Coming out first at antutu wasnt come as a surprise for me. But to have the geekbench score surpassing 8 Gen 2 and 8 Gen 3 and on par with A17 Pro is really noticeable to me
The way samsung optimised the s23 for continuous smooth performance is awesome. Hopefully they'll do the same for the s24 as well.

The most interesting point is; It was rumored that Dimensity 9300 Due to the use of Cortex X4 cores, it will create a thermal bottleneck, but this did not happen here.
seen the exact opposite result in different test surely weird
well 60° is the result
@@dimglow the 8gen 3 phone was even hotter and then throttled to half performance, thats way worse
@@_agent46_69 There are a lot of fake benchmarks on youtube that are just used as video to generate clicks
Both 9300 and 8 Gen 3 uses X4, difference being 9300 uses 4 X4 cores and 4 mid-cores whilst 8 Gen 3 only have a single X4 with 5 mid core and 2 e-core. Resulting in 8 Gen 3 pushing it's single X4 and mid-cores way harder than 9300 and thus worse efficiency.
Very ironic because Qualcomm are the one that increases mid core count in their 8 Gen 2 and resulting in better efficiency, you would think Qualcomm would get sign that increasing bigger core count is the way for better efficiency, but no, instead Mediatek are the one doing that and taking the W in performance this Gen.
Mediatek is a beast. I wouldn't dare consider them in the past but as they're fabbed by TSMC and making improvements every generation have allowed them to finally catch up and even surpass Snapdragon in most areas. Sure, it's not 100% perfect as it runs hot and probably isn't the most power efficient compared to the other chips as it has 0 energy efficient cores, but if you rarely play games or do media creation such as recording lots of 8k videos, then it really doesn't matter and you're still getting that top flagship level performance and aren't missing out on much.
the only downside and it is a dealbreaker for me is the absence of custom Roms unlike qualcomm which offers a variety of flavours to experience for the same hardware
@@ahoolaloo7314a lot of snapdragon smartphone receive custom rom nowadays, its gonna die probably in a few years

Why? Only for games?
I've used the S22U before, it's a very uncomfortable phone, big, sharp corners, idiotic apps from Samsung, terrible switching between cameras, terrible video quality especially if you upload it to Tik Tok or Instagram.

@Ayanamka17 i have 14 PRO my phone and S23 Ultra which i received from the company i work. I don't care about cameras in general so even less for video quality. But i'm impressed by S23U and OneUi. Better than iOS in almost every aspect, and S23U better than iPhone 14 PRO at every aspect hardware wise. Now i want to sell my phone and buy an S24U. I will not return to Apple soon. Android come a very long way to even surpass iOS.
It's the second 8 gen 3 phone that I'm seeing struggling with throttling. I'm definitely going to wait a few months to see how the s24U fairs before I consider upgrading.
it's not the chipset that is throtteling it's just iqoo using more aggressive thermals even in benchmarks
@niveZz- I hope so, as I currently have the s22U with 8 gen 1, so don't want another two years of the same thing.

I'm not surpised considering it has 4 Cortex X4 and 4 Cortex A720 at its heart, had to be the crusher. It gets hot because unlike other phones it doesn't try to throttle and let it run to its full potential making the experience lag free. It's definitely better than Tensor G3 and Exynos 2400.

Im not a apple fanboy but you have 100% agreed.😂 antutu its for snapdragons chip and fake power. 😂 i stay with my s23ultra minimum 5-6years
The 8 gen 3 is a beast, not in terms of raw performance but because of how raw and uncontrollable it is, we're going back to the SD 8 Gen 1 days, people always complained about it being a Samsung thing but TSMC chips are mid in terms of heat too, so what's happening? I'm gonna say it's trying to cram too much in the same process node as the 8 gen 2, the next SoC gen is going to be the real efficiency king.
Additionally, this test was done in the phones' performance modes, that is why they are so hot. This is how it should be! The devices don't go that high usually, saw some gaming benchmarks and the X100 Pro and the S23 Ultra give out similar temps at the same games. So X100 Pro users rejoice! Mediatek is just as good as Snapdragon now!!
Samsung's goodlock has a thermal guardian app which allows the phone to increase temps more before throttling. That's a bit of a hassle but also allows more control, wish they put it in one system setting.
Anyways, wish you did a retest due to the SD 8 Gen 3 results, this must've been a mistake like ain't no way the Iqoo regularly stays at 41 degrees at idle.

It doesn't depend on storage, the a17 pro scores range between 7100 to 7400 when running. I had mine score about 7374, and it is 512 gb. I think his scores are lower as it was continuous after running antutu, which may have pre heated the phone, causing performance drop.

Their weights are different. The iPhone is smooth because the principle of his system is more scientific. Android‘s mechanism is loose and rough.
And Antutu has a performance test of the disk in the test weight, and the iPhone lags behind here. The iPhone is far behind in terms of physical performance.

Looks like Samsung will have to do some thermal throttling of temps to stop the SD8G3 from overheating. It looks like it is a hot phone at the moment, assuming it is fully optimised.
I'm not sure that most consumers care much for performance anymore, as it is overkill for most of us. For instance, I do not play games on my phone, so the GPU is moot. Hoping AI is the next big thing, giving us extra rather than the race for more GPU and CPU.
We've hit the peak of performance for while now, as I still have the s20+ as a backup phone, now a 4-year-old phone. It's still very fast and plays most games at max settings. However, people do care about their device getting too hot and draining the battery. So fingers cross that this won't be a problem.
