The La Sportiva TX Guide offer supreme stiffness for being an approach shoe, however that also means that these don't make for a great running shoe. So just be aware of that.
Excellent review! I'm quite excited to hear that these fit narrow as I have long narrow feet and finding a good fitting shoe is always an issue. How do these perform in wet conditions? Do they dry quickly or do they stay wet for ages as soon as they do get wet? The lack of breathability you mentioned has me concerned a bit.
They perform good in wet conditions, the two rubber compounds have good grip even when it’s wet. They dry pretty fast as they are a synthetic shoe, there is a leather version of this shoe but if you want quick dry times the synthetic is the best. As for the breathability, they’re breathable enough. They don’t breathe as good as something that has more of an open style mesh. But with that being said, you definitely get less debris in these shoes because of that tight weave mesh.
