We are so grateful to you for like you describing Richard Allen rubbing his chin...we all more than anything i think want to see HIS reactions. As true crime observations go watching the reactions is such a big part of a trial.
The fact he got excited at the crime scene photos makes me want to vomit. He should NEVER have been allowed to see those or maybe they wanted to see his reaction.
She doesn't say that he medicated & he's looking around probably because he's been lock up for a couple of years in isolation which has a negative effect 🤔
I honestly don’t like the way the judge is handling this case. It’s as if she doesn’t believe in a public trial. Thanks for your dedication in keeping us informed.
I think she doesn't believe the case against Allen to be strong enough to convict, so she is making it difficult to get details in case they end up charging someone else.
It makes me so suspicious what are they trying to hide? We already know LE messed up hugely. Imagine if that officer hadn't gone back and looked through statements? We'd still be where we were all those years ago. Libby basically handed him to them on a plate and STILL they didn't get him. Just Awful.
Lauren, your doing a phenomenal job bringing us such a detailed description of this trial. Even your drawings give us a good idea of the crime scene. That said, I find it deplorable that this Judge, Francis C Gull, is denying the public access to this trial in any form. I find it especially heinous what hoops people have to go through just to be able to witness this trial! She could of, at the very least, opened an overflow room. That way enabling those who are waiting to get in, can get in. How awful it is for those who wait hours, then can’t get in! Better yet, if she’s so afraid of cameras in her court room, she could of allowed audio. I’m really not sure if RA is guilty or not. But I am afraid that due to this judge and all of her BS, Abby & Libby, may not get the justice they so rightfully deserve!
The thing about trail cameras is that unless it is on a cell plan and sends pics to phones, they operate on chip memory. If the memory is full they won't capture anything at all. A blowing branch in the woods can set off a camera 100 times a day or more and fill the memory chip up.
Such dedication from you Lauren which we all very much appreciate. Please make sure you practice some self-care while attending the trial and take time out if you need to.

I agree. Same here. I had a cousin who was more like my brother growing up. He met his wife when we were in high school. I was 14, they were 15. She and I became friends. 30 years later, they have a grown daughter, teen son and elementary school age son. My cousin struggled with drugs off and on over the years and they split up a couple of time due to the drug use, but they'd been okay for quite a while. He began struggling with mental health issues. He was allowed to check himself out of a facility that he should have stayed in for a lot longer. We live in a small town and even though she called 911 repeatedly that day, once when he cut the brakes on their vehicles and other times because he was threatening suicide, police didn't do anything. They caught him with a modified weapon that's very illegal and let him go with the weapon in tow. After he ended her life and his own, the kids tried to bring charges or a suit against the police. The chief of police said on national news that basically it was her fault things ended the way they did because the police had told her to leave her house and hide. She wanted help not only for herself, but him as well. No one would have ever thought in a million years he would do that.
Yes- if we all think of friends who have been abused or SA’d as kids- very very few have ever managed to get their perp to court, let alone convicted. I’m guessing out of my friends?…… maybe only 1 in 20 have even reported their abuse. So it’s DEFINITELY not a sign someone is innocent if they haven’t been arrested

It breaks my heart in such a profound way that Libby wasn't dressed and just left like that. It feels so personal and horrifying just to imagine that scene
Exactly! It’s all very strange, why was Abby put into Libbys clothes and only some of the clothes were thrown into the creek and not all of them and why leave Libby like that? It makes it look like she’s the main target or something it’s very strange to leave one clothed and one nude, it makes me so sad that her family have to see these pictures 😭💔

@heavenj7 there's other lawyers covering this case who have all said the blood on Libbys face and leg that looks like she was at some point possibly upside down. Also that what they've seen in the court is that the marking on the tree could look like a F. There was blood on the other side of the tree. The time RA would have had to commit the crime could be 20 mins. For him to get back to his car which is on camera. Get them to the area, control them, strip them, kill them, stage them and get away? Without either screaming. With all the climbing up and down etc different terrains and controlling two girls with possibly one gun. Two blades were used to murder them. So one man had a gun and two knives on him climbing around. Two knives in his pockets and didn't poke himself and managed not to leave his own blood at the scene?
Thank you for the tour around the actual area of the crime yesterday! For anybody not familiar with Delphi I think it really gives a good picture of this whole tragedy.
Thank you for ALL of your hard work! We truly appreciate you and everything you do for your supporters! You actually did an amazing job with your art work!
Lauren, You're doing a fabulous job recreating this trial, which is so very sad. Here we are in 2024 and I feel like I'm being transported back to the 50's in a Perry Mason show. Once again, I have more respect and admiration for Judge Boyce's court, and that at least Idaho is in the 21st century; perhaps Delphi will consider it in the future.
Lauren you are amazing, sleeping outside to get in, having to see the horrible photos, taking notes, and then bringing to us, you are so appreciated. I thought RA was innocent until I watched your podcast that Dr. John did analysis of RA. Hearing he’s looking at the crime scene photos, the text person that said he looked excited is disturbing. A innocent person would not want look at those photos, I’m surprised his defense attorney has not told him to stop. I listened to Ed Wallace a CSI investigator of over 2500 investigations, he was shocked how bad the CSI was. If RA is guilty but gets off because of the poor evidence collection and testing, investigation in general, it’s going to be infuriating…
I'm afraid, Judge Gall, is going to give RA an appeal with a win! The Judge has a power issue and a lot of other issues to boot. She is not allowing transparency and making things so difficult for citizens, journalists, victims and even for the defense team. She should be disbarred. 😩
Oh it's him. There's a picture of him from 2019 at the bar he used to go to and he is standing there his build is exactly like BG his stomach was bigger back then just like BG and his legs short. When I saw the picture there was no doubt in my mind not to mention the voice is exactly the same as the video of him with his wife on the incline. His voice is very distinct.
If I was accused of a crime, you'd bet I'd be looking at every inch of those photos. His LIFE is on the line for this crime and it's been sketchy since the beginning. They have gone down so many rabbit holes, and we have no answers as to what they discovered. There were many they didn't bother to investigate at all. They are withholding info from the public, from the jurors. They have put on blinders and put RA in the center of it.
Thank you Lauren. I so appreciate your efforts in bringing this to us. I know today was a really hard one. God bless you, and the families of those beautiful little girls x

She doesn't say that he medicated & he's looking around probably because he's been lock up for a couple of years in isolation which has a negative effect 🤔
This is such a good job. You didn't need to do the live at lunch. This is all we needed. It's so good of a job, thanks.
So sorry I missed the live - but thank you again for uploading
I honestly don’t like the way the judge is handling this case. It’s as if she doesn’t believe in a public trial. Thanks for your dedication in keeping us informed.
Also the judge botching a fair trial by not allowing critical information for the jury to hear.
Appeal for sure.
I think she doesn't believe the case against Allen to be strong enough to convict, so she is making it difficult to get details in case they end up charging someone else.
Did they check Allen for scratches
It makes me so suspicious what are they trying to hide? We already know LE messed up hugely. Imagine if that officer hadn't gone back and looked through statements? We'd still be where we were all those years ago. Libby basically handed him to them on a plate and STILL they didn't get him. Just Awful.
Thank you, Lauren, for going to Delphi. I pray Abby and Libby get the Justice they deserve. Prayers to all the Families.
This Trial is so strange.
Thank you Lauren for your complete attention to this trial, giving up sleep and sitting in the cold. 😊
Lauren, you’re the first person I’ve heard mention trial cam footage! That’s huge, I hope it was retrieved 🥺
@@laniakea2162 it wasn’t xx
The thing about trail cameras is that unless it is on a cell plan and sends pics to phones, they operate on chip memory. If the memory is full they won't capture anything at all. A blowing branch in the woods can set off a camera 100 times a day or more and fill the memory chip up.
@@Txl8y817 oh, I didn’t realise. Thank you very much for the information.
If it was Allen wouldn't be on trial imo.
Well maybe not they seem keen to railroad him and let several other parties go imo.
@@Txl8y817 but, those girls were found a day after they went missing so they wouldnt they have possibly seen something if they would have checked?
Such dedication from you Lauren which we all very much appreciate. Please make sure you practice some self-care while attending the trial and take time out if you need to.
Wow, great reporting, I could picture everything from your description. Terrific how you honour both the victims and the defendant’s right of presumption of innocence until found guilty. You’re beautiful inside and out.
I saw your live after lunch… you were pretty upset… you are appreciated ❤
Thank you so much Lauren!!!🦋🙏💕
I didn’t get to say it during the live, but I do thank you and appreciate you for this coverage, Lauren!!!!
Thank you, Lauren
Prayers and gratefulness. This day was sad to hear your beautiful reporting of the two lovely young girls. It is very appreciated by all of your gems and listeners. Your words need no apology. Thank you. 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
Lauren, I appreciate you taking the time to report on this in the most objective unbiased way you can. I pray you get a seat in trial as often as possible .
Dear Lauren, Thank you for noting this and reporting this. My heart goes out to you. I can't imagine experiencing and hearing the details of this trial. I wish you strength and peace to go forward. You are my hero. I am here with you for the duration of this trial. Thank you for your hard work and sacrifice. 💕
Oh my goodness. Your commitment to bringing the trial results is beyond compare. Thank you Lauren and to Hidden True Crime. You guys are my favorite and the best!!
I can't believe the way Judge Gull is running this trial. Thanks for your insight and accounting for us .
Glad to hear from you. Amazing they have made it so difficult to cover.
IMO there's a nervous Judge on the bench 🤔
@barrettlori9249 Why do you say that?
@@barrettlori9249or an arrogant one.
She needs to be voted out by the citizens of that county next term.
The courts belong to the people, not the judges.

Your husband’s explanation about Richard Allen, and not having a record, but having had at least 1 dv episode where LE was called, but charges weren’t pressed against him. It really helped me better understand a situation of murder in my family by someone in my family that I never thought about them doing what they did. So thank you to him & a super big thank you Lauren for going to the trial and sleeping on the sidewalk to get in. My goodness that is dedication. You are an excellent journalist lady. I’m sorry you have to see and hear all the awful details you do, but I understand you are the voice for the victims, and it is so important they are heard!!! 🫶🏼
I agree.

This is so very sad and tragic, thinking about the last moments of Abby and Libby’s lives, it’s horrific. Take care of yourself.

I can't imagine how hard this has been for everyone.
My prayers to all effected in this difficult trial. Also for you sacrificing so much to cover this for us so thoroughly.

Im truly blown away with how many items the crime scene investigators decided weren't of evidentiary value. The handling of the case was absolutely terrible.
You take EVERYTHING that's their damn job! Shame on all of them!
He must have made both get undressed, and then Abby put Libbys clothes on, or he put them on her. What horror those girls went through.
I wonder if Abby couldn’t find her clothes so she put on Libby’s to try and stay warm? I thought the clothes on her had almost no blood? I hope we get clarification
Abby had her clothes on and part of Libby’s, so that doesn’t really make sense.

Just here to say I ONE MILLION percent appreciate all you’re doing to bring us this information. THANK YOU!
This was an amazing breakdown of the testimony!!! Thank you so much for your non-biased relay of what is taking place in court.
When an attorney is questioning their own witness it’s called direct (examination), when the opposing counsel questions the witness it’s called cross (examination), when the attorney questions their own witness after they’ve been cross examined it’s called redirect (examination). I just noticed you get the terminology mixed up and thought that might be helpful. Your reporting is absolutely top notch, thank you for doing this.
Lauren, I think its only natural to say "Richard Allen" when describing the crime. Its his trial. I agree with you. Its hard not to say his name
Thank you for not only giving us the play but play of the trial, but doing it with sensitive & compassion. This is very important work you are doing. Except for saying Richard Allen has "beaty eyes" Lets not convict a man before it is time. The judge is not allowing critical evidence to come out. She is handing a conviction to the prosecutors. Corrupt investigation corrupt trial.
Lauren my heart hurts for the terror these girls felt - you bring such heart to this channel and are an excellent journalist - thank you
It breaks my heart in such a profound way that Libby wasn't dressed and just left like that. It feels so personal and horrifying just to imagine that scene
I think he told Abby to get dressed because he was going to take her somewhere. He had to kill her quick because he heard someone.
Exactly! It’s all very strange, why was Abby put into Libbys clothes and only some of the clothes were thrown into the creek and not all of them and why leave Libby like that? Ha so goes to show you how important a good defense is!! I really fell for the defense when they mentioned ALL the odinism evidence and there’s none!? Wow 🤯 thanks for this coverage wow!!

Lauren,
You're doing a fabulous job recreating this trial, which is so very sad.
@@RhondaAdams007 Yes, this judge is so sketch…
@@Goldieslaxx9I concur with you in all you state, it’s also his voice 100 percent. When I heard it on the incline I got chills!
