Hey man, I was wondering if the seat is still wet after that vacuuming. If it is, what to do next to make it dry?
@@ajovamemescollector8291 in the summer, it dries almost instantly. But normally it takes about 30 minutes. You can use a sheet or a towel to help dry quicker

I did this and it worked well. I mixed it with oxyclean (powerder) and laundry detergent (tide liquid). Then used a wet/dry vacuum. Get the rest with a towel to get as dry as possible. Repeat as necessary

Just be careful when mixing cleaning detergents of any kind. They can release really toxic gases. Not all of them mix badly but I wouldn't risk it so please do research and stay safe🙏

Typically, on a hot summers day the seats will be totally dry within 30 minutes.
In the winter I use newspapers to absorb the moisture.
Sevan Motors FORRERA I use my arse to absorb the water instead soaks up in a couple minutes

I removed my car seats of the car. I don't have a vacuum. Could I do this and just let it dry out by the sun?

Don't use your regular vaccum, it will get ruined. Also those water marks are most likely going to show up again once the seat is actually dry.

I use the same method but not with Fairy. I use my clothes washing liquid. If it cleans my pants, it will clean my seats...simple.

Probably takes longer to dry up.
Add into soapy water fabreeze as it works on the cause of smells. Also using a stain fighter for laundry can be helpful.

Worst idea ever! The foam or the sponge underneath the cloth will never get dry, it will be rotten and smell bad. The vacuum does dry and suck the water from the cloth not from the sponge of the seat.
Also, the soap will stay still in the seat, the soap must be washed away and rinse and of course you can't rinse since you did what you did. You added and used way too much soap and water, very stupid.
The best way to clean seats with a light wet cloth with a very little soap, or buy one of those seats clean from the store. I am cab driver, too much experience in those stuff.

Has the stains only been removed because the seats are wet though. Once the seats are dry the stains will still be there.
The seats remain clean after they dry, as long as the stained are not greasy or oil.
Non greasy stains will go for good
Modern seat material shows stains much more than old velour did.
Most products are gimmicks anyway. Simple straightforward like the old days

On a hot summer day it will dry almost instantly, let's say 5 minutes, as long as you use a strong vacuum cleaner,

You use the vacuum cleaner to remove the dirty water as much as possible. And then just let it dry naturally.

This video was recorded in November, in the winter and I was wearing long sleeve jacket. I drove it home the same day, it was a bit damp, then completely dry the next day. if you use a powerful vacuum it will take a short time to dry.
Are you using an ordinary vacuum or a wet and dry vacuum? Just wondering if the moisture would screw up an ordinary vacuum.

I once used green Fairy Liquid on a small stain in a beige carpet. It left a green mark, worse than the stain. The carpet cleaner I called said Fairy contains a green dye. Should be fine on dark fabrics.
I used this method many times and never had a problem. However, don't put much fluid, do it quickly and you have to do the whole thing otherwise you might end up with a stain.

This is actually fabric, not leather.
