- You can install YOUR OWN BACKUP camera! It's super easy! this procedure works for literally all kinds of aftermarket reverse cameras, but I will be installing the Atoto AC-HD03LR reverse camera on my 1994 Buick Roadmaster that is equipped with the ALMIGHTY ATOTO S8 MS head unit!

Good stuff guys!
That's pretty cool!!
Yup!
This is very tempting 🤔 GOOD STUFF BC!!!
It's SOOOO worth it! And thanks, my dude!
Thank you for this video! Subscribed! - Now I know how to install this rear camera - My only issue is I had to buy a Wiring kit - Radio Pro4 2-TY11 that also has a rear Camera wire on the harness that makes everything compatible with my Toyota Avalon - Do I add the Pink Camera wire directly to the Atoto S8 unit and bypass the Wire harness kit?
You got me there. I would do a dry run before completely reinstalling the unit with the pink wire connected directly to the ATOTO. I would imagine the aftermarket harness is plug and play but it will need the 12v reference on the pink wire to activate the camera
@@Blowncapacitor84 Thank you for your quick reply - and yes you were right - I was able to get the back up camera working by connecting the Pink wire directly to the radio pink wire
@@hightide-mcknotts Nice!
Nice!!!🎉🎉🎉❤
SOOOO NICE!!!
Looking for information on the 'live rearview' feature. Can I have the head unit display the rear camera all the time? Can I make the rear guide lines only appear when it's in reverse?
@paulr7719 yes to both! It really is a great camera and headunit!
I have that camera, the 7 inch screen is too small for it to be useful because you are dividing the screen into multiple views, it would work much better on a 10 inch or larger screen.
@Pro1er I don't mind it on the 7 inch, but I could see why you say that.
