    Thank you - helped me a lot with just one move, front fork up!

      That's awesome! Glad it helped you out. Enjoy riding the trike, I ride my wife's more than my bike.

    I haven't been on any type of bike since I was 10 years old. I'm 62 now and I ordered this TK 1 las week.

      I'll be 62 this year. I've ridden motorcycles for years, but have stayed clear the last couple due to inattentive drivers. I ride my E-Bike and my wife's TK1 around the farm and our community. Love using them when we go camping. A word of caution, when you use the pedal assist, it takes off rather quickly. Start out on flat ground and maybe use the accelerator on the right to slowly start up. Keep both hands on the brakes initially so you can stop quickly. It won't take long until you're back in the saddle and having a blast. Enjoy!

      You can do it! I am 65 with mobility issues and I assembled it.

    The box lifts off with removal of plastic squares in the side, and you get a full view of packing, and what to cut with heavy duty scissors

      Yeah, like an idiot, I noticed that after tearing into the box. It did help in breaking down the box.😁😉

    The thing about trikes (which everyone learns) is that pedalling/stearing it isn't the same as a 2 wheeled bike at all. You ride a bike (and your body weight does a LOT of directional pedalling for you) and you drive a trike (like a car or a tractor). It takes a bit of practice because it's different than we've all grown up learning, but it shouldn't take long to get used to it. And don't forget to use the parking brakes when getting on or off (look at the instructions that came with it and you'll see where it is and how to use it).

      @@darrellwendyjenkinson8972 spot on! My wife struggled with that concept. I took right to it. Matter of fact, I leave my bike parked most of the time and enjoy riding hers. She told me I need to sell my bike and get another trike. She's right!

    Arthritis and a big belly make picking things up very hard.

    Please give more detail on the locking problem with the stop pin . Not totally clear on this . I am concentrating buying one of these

      The assembly wasn't properly adjusted from the factory there is a small set screw in there that I needed to adjust. I'm not certain that it is absolutely correct, but it locks as it should now. I've only folded it once since we bought it. Honestly, I'm riding it more than my wife does. She told me I should sell my eBike and buy another Mooncool TK1. I am seriously considering it. There were a couple of other issues with some missing small screws and the horn/turn signal switch being broken during delivery. I sent a quick email and photos as proof. Had a response in no time at all offering to pay for replacement screws and they sent a new (actually better) replacement switch assembly. I had available screws in my shop, so no issue. If you want, I can make a quick video showing the locking assembly with a little more detail. Just respond to let me know.

    Thanks. Question. Does the bike have to be powered on to put on the front wheel? Mine seems to be difficult to press up into place, and I dont want to force it and break something. Is there a parking break or something that has to be released? Help help help!

    • @cedarfallsfarm9833
      @cedarfallsfarm9833  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, the bike does not have to be turned on. There is typically a "plug" in place to be removed. It is easier to turn the bike upside down to install the front wheel assembly. Watch closely for the alignment of the brake when installing the wheel. Good luck!

      @sardaracampa1733 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks, I'll watch out for that. I've had this trike over 49 days and I've never even sat on it because the wheel they shipped me had a hole in it. Hopefully I'll drive it this weekend.
