Hi Karen, my kind of instructor and you saved me time and kept me from selling an instant pot my kids got me Oct. 2022 for my birthday. It has been sitting in the corner of my living along with a six qt. air fryer they got me for Christmas. When I first opened mine and saw the owners manual I simply closed it back up thinking I don't need anymore to learn in addition to all the online software I use...I am going to go open it up and do the start up text and enjoy watching more of your videos. I am a healthy guy so this will be exciting. Thank you for doing this. William

Just a point... It takes 5 to come to pressure but it will also keep cooking even after time is done if the pressure/vent is not release counting for the 5 and as much as 10 minutes. It's the whole purpose of a pressure cooker.

Thx a million for saying the pot takes AT LEAST 5-10 MINUTES TO BUILD UP TO PRESSURE...b/c I was planning to pack up the gizmo n return, because I thought the most important feature, pressure wasn't working! 🤦🏽‍♀️ now I know to build in that time in any recipe I have!

Thank you for the tutorial. I just used mine for the first time to make oatmeal for 2! Quite honestly, I don't like the way the buttons work. I already have the 6 quart "Duo Nova" so I guess I'm just used to how that one works. With the mini, there is only a "cancel" button so to turn it off, I had to unplug it altogether. But I still love my Instant Pots!

I'm blessed with a husband who enjoys leftovers - hence the 8 qt. pots. I've tried to convince many people to get an IP, but I always suggest they need to find countertop room, or they probably won't use it. It's major to dig it out of a cabinet. I've just finished steaming a large bag of organic kale. Much nicer than using the stovetop. Please keep the good recipes coming. Gayle
