I think the most appealing part about this case is the fact that it’s readily available and relatively cheap.
The Ncase M1 is my all time favorite case however limited supply, $215 price tag after shipping, and a 3-5 week wait time for it to ship is a whole lot to ask for and has really been putting me off from buying it. Really waiting on a secondhand one.

I didn't buy this case for the size, I bought it because it looks nice and a full build inside leaves no useless empty space like on normal atx cases which is something I wanted.

Al Havoc Airflow is still pretty decent with two 140's in front and a top 120 as intake. I use the 120 in the back and the PSU as exhaust, it runs reasonably well even with extreme overclocking of both CPU and GPU. The silent wings 3 are very quiet fans.

I've got the h200i variant and I can confirm that 2.5 slot GPUs will fit although mine pretty much lays on the PSU shroud. In my case (pun intended) I've got a Zotac GTX 1070 Amp Extreme and an i5 8600k at 4.5GHz. I'm using an Corsair SF450 and the CPU is cooled by an Arctic Freezer 120. When playing Battlefield 1 I hit roughly 60-65°C on the CPU and about 73°C on my GPU. But keep in mind that I've turned the GPU fans down significantly to about 40%. So in my opinion thermals in general are pretty good but it depends on whether you have the front dust filter installed (I believe you forgot to mention that, as the other cases do not have filters, right?)

I personally have an ITX build in a Phanteks Evolv ITX and that case is also considered "to large" by many. I love it though and honestly not everyone is trying to build an insane set up in the smallest possible case, some of us just wan to save a little room without to much added cooling issues. My opinion its another wonderful case to fit that need.

I used this case with a sapphire Vega 64 and it was tight as hell. It sat right up against my front fans without a rad to the point it was causing the fan to run off center and rattle like mad. I also had the issue with the GPU fans facing directly and touching the PCU shroud which minimises air flow and caused the GPU to heat up rapidly. If you plan on using such a large card I would say go for the H400i.

  • @greenprotag
    @greenprotag 5 ปีที่แล้ว

Basically a virtual zero compromises case... well aside from airflow. But if you compare it to other enclosures this is fairly good in terms of support.
I would say, if you want a 240 rad or a full size noctua cooling your CPU, maybe consider this.
I have an enthoo evolv itx and it is somewhat similar to this. Smaller then a mid tower, but not really lan party ready.
I think the nice thing about these tempered glass itx enclosures is that they really show off the hardware well... something very much not present in the itx setting.
It's hard to find SFF cases that are
    A) Attractive
    B) Have great airflow
    and
    C) Show off the internal components.
I would LOVE to see a slightly larger version of the the silverstone ML08b-H with gapped tempered glass side pannels and a slightly largerwidth to mount top and bottom fans in a chimney style air flow pathing.
Basically I want a glass suitcase build... but one that breathes. I am willing to sacrifice CPU cooler height and go with an L9i, or a gabriel cooler... or even a small 120 rad if possible.

One more possible config in this case:
CPU with Dark Rock Pro 4 or NH-D15
GPU with Kraken G12 and 240mm AIO / EVGA RTX 2080 Ti Kingpin with built in 240mm
The question here is what pump-block will fit in there since it doesn't have a 3rd PCI-E slot height of clearance between the bottom slot and the power supply shroud; or in the case of the Kingpin, where to run the tubes sticking out of the side of the graphics card.

It is the best & biggest case I know that can fit into a small suitcase that you can take on a plane with you.
Having the smallest case possible is sometimes not an advantage for professionals. Sometimes you just want a case that is in the optimal size.
It is a pretty optimized cooling when cooling is considered and it is easy to build in and cable manage.
The whole idea that itx cases should be as small as possible is an assumption that some people the prefer SFF but it is far from true.

ITX or not ITX, the H200 is a great case that's small in form factor and easy to build in - unlike the other, true ITX cases, the H200 is a great compromise for those who would like a build that showcases all of their components (from one side) like the usual ATX builds with large tempered panels but don't want all that extra, empty space to look at or a behemoth tower that dominates your work space. Well done. Though this is not perfect case. For those living with well over 20C room temperature, the fractals S Nano is a bit uglier, but much more functional enclosure. For me, mainly due to being custom loop friendly. Without modding I was able to fit 2x240 rads for a full liquid cooled setup which also happens to be quiet enough. After some (heavy) modifications, it is going to have a single 280x45 rad for airflow/ dust management optimization. That's will be a prototyping layout for a custom case that should be significantly smaller and better looking while keeping the liquid cooling friendly and quiet properties that can be used with any high end hw

I have an i7 4770 (liquid cooled by an enermax liqmax II 120 with a single fan in push) and a GTX 1080 Ti (Evga FTW3): while I cannot fit a 240 mm radiator on front (the vga card is just a few millimeters too long), I have two extra fans (one on the rear and one on top) in pull and the airflow is fantastic. Also because of the negative pressure the GPU never goes above 60 degrees (even with 30 degrees room temp) and the fans never exceed 20% speed (most of the time they're off). The cpu never goes above 72 (but it is not a point given its specs). The layout is super clean and I have 3 SSDs and 1 HDD. I think the GPU choice is super important for temps. With the same GPU I bet I could fit a slim 240 mm radiator on front, one 120 in the back and probably even on top and build a gorgeous custom loop.
It is not a real SFF tough and I got it just because I already had an ITX mb. If building from scratch the h400 is a better choice imho (slightly larger but more room for improvement).

I orderd the 210 in red black as I will do just decent RGB to complement the red line. It is in deed a bid large for ITX, my last build was a Intel SculC. in a full passive Akitio, with TB3 EGPU, now I decided I go for more flexibility, and since I will do a gradual build starting with 3400g without GPU, than I add a 3070, or 6600 depends on availabity, and finally I will change the cpu to next gen Ryzen. The 3400g then will be used in a Asrock Mini. The 210 is quite decent esp. for the price. I just like ITX :D

To be honest, the H200 is the best "space optimized" ITX case in one specific case- proper watercooling. I've handily fitted a complete watercooling loop and a total of 360mm of radiators (240mm up front, 120mm at the back), as well as an additional exhaust fan at the top- mind you, this potentially could be swapped for a slim 120mm radiator that would rely solely on convection, but then the inside might actually get too hot. There's also room for a compact EKWB pump/res combo mounted horizontally.
As for the temperatures- my i5 8600k @4.8GHz usually sits in the 60-68C range (it's not delidded though), and my GTX 1080Ti for the most part does not exceed 60C (unless running full-tilt at 4K, in which scenario it does spike up to 70C, same goes for the CPU, and then you have to take the front off to drop the temps by around 10C).
So yeah, while being a lot bigger than say a Dan A4 SFX or a Ghost Loque, it DOES actually make a great use of available space.

I'm planning to get the exact same AIO cooler for my H200i. My question is, does it matter which side of the rad the fans are on? Coz I've seen similar builds but they have the fans on the other side of the radiator (facing the front panel). This will be my first time dabbling in any sort of watercooling, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

It's big because it's for the performance oriented end of the spectrum. I wouldn't want to cram my 3700x, 2400 radiator and 2x fans, and 5700 xt in anything smaller than the H200. Different story if it was a 3600 & 5600 build. But then none of the other cases lets me appreciate my cable routing prowess through that lovely transparent glass. So it serves a really good niche. Well done NZXT

I feel like the H200 is perfect as a sort of gateway drug for mITX systems, as it is smaller and more compact than a normal case, but not unmanageable for a rookie builder. It would also fare much better than an SFF PC for first time builders, although generally, they should not build inside an mITX case to begin with.

Another high quality vid man. This case is a bit large for my taste personally. However, cases like these make taking the itx plunge easier by allowing someone to just buy the mobo and case while reusing most if not all of their LFF components! Once that first step is taken any case over that magic 20L or so seems like too much though. 😁

I just finished my build with 2600x and 580 o8g and x52 240mm. It looks great but, the x52 pump seems to be “pushing” the ram a bit. Like the ram in the left slot is tilted to the right because pump’s hoses is too big. Is that going to be a big deal? And also, the sfx bracket is extremely hard to get off, the screws were like screwed on for demons and it just won’t come off!

Solid review overall with great production quality as always, but I'm hoping for a follow-up for two main reasons: expanding on testing of air cooling potential, and addressing significant issues (which you partially acknowledged) regarding your GPU test set-up.
First, you mentioned that you would like to re-test with the NH-D15. I would be interested to see the air cooling potential of this case with a few different options noting relative dB levels.
Second, your review significantly hindered the case's potential for GPU cooling in two primary ways. As you noted (at 7:32), your choice to use an ATX PSU vs an SFX PSU prevented cooling via the vents in the PSU shroud (also acknowledged as important at 1:27). You then further hindered GPU cooling by using 2 x 120 mm front intake fans. This is worth noting here as while it would seem self-evident that doing so would help with GPU cooling, several reviewers have tested alternate configurations and found that adding those intake fans actually increases GPU temperatures, since the case is designed around negative pressure GPU cooling (which was further hindered in your test by the ATX PSU as noted previously). Thus, the results here likely represent a worst case scenario. One thing that some owners have tried is mounting a fan under the PSU shroud to increase airflow to the GPU. That may also be worth trying.
Again, solid review overall and looking forward to v.2

For me the reason to build ITX would be the possibility to move my PC around in the house or take it to a friend. Since I don't do that very often, I actually think the size of the H200 would still be okay, since you could still easily pick it up and put it into the trunk of a car. But what stops me from doing that on this case is the glass side panel. It's just so dangerous to move this case around and put it in a car. One unfortunate bump and the glass shatters. If there was a metal-only version, I think it would be a pretty good case.

I love small systems but I also would prefer the option to overclock and keep temps as low as possible. I wanted to use an AIO and has sufficient space for an RTX 3070/3080. This case keeps things aesthetic with a nice balance of compactness and spacing. My last case was tiny, nhl9a, sfx psu, it's mobo, but there was hardly any space for a gpu upgrade, much less a 3.5hdd. Beats having an itx mobo in a bigger case.

You probably already took the PC apart, but I was wondering if you could comment on the height of the CPU pump/block combo on AIOs. I'm planning on doing a build in this with a front mounted 280mm radiator, and a rear 120mm radiator and need to know approximately how tall my CPU pump/block can be. I was originally looking at the NZXT Kraken X62, but as you said, it's a bit too tall. Would a pump/block with a height of 1.6 inches fit without interfering with a rear mounted 120mm radiator + fan?

4:50 you specify that with a Kraken you cannot use a rear mounted 120mm AIO for your GPU. That's not true. I've got this setup with a 9900k on a Kraken X52, with then an EVGA hybrid 2080 Ti with it mounted on the rear. You have to dismount the radiator from the fan, install the radiator by itself, then install the fan and it will fit, or use a slim fan on it and that would work as well.
