Do they make stick for arcade games that come from 80s with games ... but whats more important here is the configuration... if you sit on your couch with friends cant we have our own sticks on seperate consoles for same game.... instead of the big table with multiple sticks . Nobody wants to crowd each other like that.
It’s amazing! I got into sf playing alpha and sf4. Sf6 is really great so far love the mechanics, combos and feel of their game can’t wait to get better with Ken.
I think it’s also worth mentioning that the button cable clasps actually have a locking mechanism on them to keep them from jarring loose when working with the usb cable. Sanwa buttons and stick are indeed drop in replacements, but honestly I kinda just like this fighting stick the way it is. The only reason I’m considering a Sanwa stick is because an Octagonal gate is much easier to find for those than Hori’s stick :)
I'm new to your channel but thanks for the review. I recently received the same arcade stick but, i'm going to change my 4 way gate to an KOWAL 8 way gate restrictor. I reached out to Focus Attack's customer service and they gave me a lot of good advice and suggestions on modding my stick, they informed me that the Hayabusa Joystick can be swapped out for the Sanwa JLF, as it's a direct replacement and has easy octagonal restrictor options. I never knew that, anyways, thanks again.
I got the original F500 modded with Sanwa buttons and stick with the ultimate S and it works great... But I just ordered this stick anyway because I have a fighting stick collection going back to SNES and might have an addiction.

The Hayabusa stick and buttons usually have a very sleek, low-profile look and feel as well, so they match the overall appeal. Looks like Sanwa and Seimitsu will swap right in. The stuff from Happ or Lorenzo definitely won't. High-end, Low-profile arcade stick for PS5, if that's your style this stick should serve you well.
I considered buying this stick, but ended up getting a Qanba Pearl. This doesn't look like it should be more than $150, just too much plastic. Whoever came up with that cable storage must have been drunk!
This will be my 13th stick lol. Maybe I’ll stop at 20. I had a $40 rewards card on Amazon so I just ordered one. Should’ve done it sooner as now I have to wait 3 weeks for it.
I have three different arcade sticks: a Razer Panthera Evo Pro for Playstation, the Hori Real Arcade Pro V for Switch (and works with PC Engine Mini!) and the Astro City Mini Arcade Stick. They are by far my favourite way to play my vast shmup collection. Every time I get into a new fighting game, I want to play with stick too but always end up back to controller where I am much better.

I have the xbox edition. My compliant is the same, I wish the cable had its own compartment with all the space and room the stick has...other than that its great! Swapping out panel art, buttons, stick are easy

Hayabusa buttons are cool. I picked up the PS4 Soul Caliber VI Stick MLP made a video of, which also came with Hayabusa & haven't felt the need to switch em' out to Sanwa. Would I prefer Sanwa? Probably, but I like the Matte feel of the Hayabusa. Recently modded my Neo Geo Arcade Stick Pro with a Seimitsu Stick & buttons which have the smooth gloss feel of Sanwas. I can say those are solid too. I have the XB360 Soul Calibur V Stick which came out when Hori still used Sanwa parts, so I know the Sanwa feel. I really don't see you going wrong with Seimitsu, Sanwa, or Hayabusa.

I have cancelled thus Arcade Stick, because the PS4 Arcade Stick Works on that I have, works in Street Fighter 6 and other PS5 Fighting Games! But I would Buy this Later, because 250 is a lot of money!

I picked up SF6 for Xbox series X and was disappointed there wasn't a SF6 themed stick for the stick for the Xbox. Maybe a Blanka themed one with green bezel side would of been perfect for the Xbox...
@@kharitaylor3782 yeah, but it's the not the same. SF on Xbox has been absent for years and making a comeback, they should have given the same treatment for the Xbox community, just like they did with Madcatz when SF4 was released, they had fight pads and fight sticks for box consoles at the time.
@@ej86 agreed, but you know that Sony is bankrolling this. They even own EVO. They're not interested in the Xbox community, and HORI is interested in profit first and foremost. Case in point, HORI is still around and Madcatz went out of business a long time ago. Sadly when it comes to fighting games, we Xbox fans have to take what we can get I'm afraid.
I own the Xbox Edition (non-SF6 branded) version of this stick and I have only one big complaint about it in regards to Street Fighter games in particular. I play Classic 6-button layout but the 8-button configuration just messes me up because I keep hitting the other two buttons that I don't need to use. You can disable them in options but that doesn't stop me from hitting them by accident. I suppose if I really wanted to I could go out and get taller button replacements for the two buttons I don't need so I can better differentiate them from the rest of them, but physically removing them entirely is not an option as I would lose basic functionality in the game for the non-fight stuff. It's frustrating and I'm not sure if there's a solution that will help me get around this issue.
@@deathnote939393 Do you mean the Left Analog and Right Analog stick buttons? As far as I can tell those buttons are only functional in Training Mode for things like Dummy Recording. It's very problematic as I can't turn that feature off so using my HORI Fighting Commander Pad is a real pain in the ass in training mode as that button is assigned to a shoulder button on the fightpad. It's always something🤬
The far right buttons of the main 8 are pre-programmed in SF6 for Drive Impact and Parry, that's how they are on my Series-X.....So you have your original 6 buttons the same as you said you want / like plus, you have the other 2 for the new features / mechanics in SF6 !! What's not to like about that, just takes a little getting used to, no need to stay stuck in the past and do away with the extra 2 buttons.....Why not Evolve with the game and learn how to use them instead !?!?
@@deathnote939393Try changing the Modes (1 or 2) switch is located top-right on the Stick, this solved a simlar issue that I had, so now I leave mine in Mode 2 all the time and everything works just fine on my Series-X !! It's a Great Stick and works spot-on for SF6 !! Hope this Helps, Enjoy !!

I don`t understand why they use this 4 finger at once (or play to the left) button ergonomics on a sf6 stick. As far as I`m aware people play sf with 3 fingers/rightmost buttons! The 4th button is mostly useless unless you are playing neo geo or some 4 button game on pc. I`ll be holding to my madcatz sf4 controller with proper sf ergonomics.
100 percent agree. Even though I own the Hori Fighting Stick Alpha for Xbox, I've decided to use my Hori Fighting Commander 6-button pad for Xbox instead. Half of that decision is solely due to the 6-button layout as opposed to the Alpha's 8-button one. Less buttons means less mistakes, especially now with two-button Drive Gauge Attacks and Parries playing such an important part of the gameplay now.
I have the vanilla PS5 version of this stick and it comes with 4 way/square gate. It is pretty easy to mod it to a octo gate. Just make sure you order the Hori - Hayabusa one.
I was wondering about this too, so I’ll most likely need to upgrade the 4 way plate to an 8 way gate if I decide to get this fight stick. My Madcatz TE 2 fight stick works just fine with SF6, but this new fight stick seems to be a bit wider which means extra room for your hands to rest etc….
Thank God I still have my Madcatz TE2. Fight sticks now are ridiculously expensive. As much as I like the Qanba Obsidian 2, spending 300 bucks is waay over priced.
Honestly, IMO, this one (I have the vanilla PS5 version) feels kinda cheap for the asking price. Obviously you're paying for the SF name but it shouldn't be more than $199 like the regular XB and PS one.

anyone else got this yet? i got mine as an import from Japan.. but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to connect it to pc.. usb is plugged in but the software from Hori after taking a while to find it.. keeps on disconnecting... will not update either ... steam does not recognise it. Worse still all my systems are reading it as an audio device 1st and controller 2nd...
I'm really mad because I don't look for arcade sticks since I own GameSir C2, and it's not working on PS5 with SF6... I don't know what the problem is? Sony lack of software updates or Capcom is trying to force to buy dedicated stick... Anyone know the solution maybe?

Make sure the area of the stick feels good for you and make sure you get to try out the different parts a stick comes with like Hayabusa vs Sanwa vs etc....
yeah I feel the same, the lack of compartment for the cable looks like a lazy effort by HORI but overall the fighting stick looks decent but 230 is way too much.
i got a mayflower elite 500 u can use with ps3, ps4, ps5 xbox et all, and pc. and it's got sanwa buttons for 100 bucks. it's got no place to put the cable though so that kinda sucks and it's a lot uglier.
I thought about getting this but I’ll just keep using my Madcatz TE 2 fight stick……not to mention it comes with 4 way gate plate and the Hori 8 way gate plate is sold out.

Do your lss/rss buttons work in sf 6? That's my biggest complaint.. they don't work ;(

The 4th button is mostly useless unless you are playing neo geo or some 4 button game on pc. I`ll be holding to my madcatz sf4 controller with proper sf ergonomics.
100 percent agree. Even though I own the Hori Fighting Stick Alpha for Xbox, I've decided to use my Hori Fighting Commander 6-button pad for Xbox instead. Half of that decision is solely due to the 6-button layout as opposed to the Alpha's 8-button one. Less buttons means less mistakes, especially now with two-button Drive Gauge Attacks and Parries playing such an important part of the gameplay now.
Quality components for sure, but if you have roommates, they’re going to get on your ass about the button noise. Those Hayabusa’s are loud AF!
What would you recommend to replace them with?

Does this have a 4 way or octagonal restricter plate on the stick? Does it include an option to switch them or is the hori stick different
I have the vanilla PS5 version of this stick and it comes with 4 way/square gate. It is pretty easy to mod it to a octo gate. Just make sure you order the Hori - Hayabusa one.
I was wondering about this too, so I’ll most likely need to upgrade the 4 way plate to an 8 way gate if I decide to get this fight stick.
My Madcatz TE 2 fight stick works just fine with SF6, but this new fight stick seems to be a bit wider which means extra room for your hands to rest etc….
But it’s a bad thing our previously owned sticks don’t work. Insane.
Which one do you use? I play on a Madcazt TE 2 for PS3 and it still works lol

Looks wise it's a beautiful arcade stick,but i don't see myself literally comparing it to my "Obsidian" arcade stick though.

It’s not outrageous, but most serious gamers like wired controllers for tournaments cause of lower latency on inputs
Thank God I still have my Madcatz TE2. Fight sticks now are ridiculously expensive. As much as I like the Qanba Obsidian 2, spending 300 bucks is waay over priced.

Honestly, IMO, this one (I have the vanilla PS5 version) feels kinda cheap for the asking price. Obviously you're paying for the SF name but it shouldn't be more than $199 like the regular XB and PS one.

@@theFaded01 Did they update to Brook Converters to work on the PS5 yet? I have them for NSW, PS, and XB, and I know you can use the PS5 controller to work on other systems, but the converter didn't work on the PS5 yet. As in PS4 ----> PS5

anyone else got this yet? i got mine as an import from Japan.. but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to connect it to pc.. usb is plugged in but the software from Hori after taking a while to find it.. keeps on disconnecting... will not update either ... steam does not recognise it. Worse still all my systems are reading it as an audio device 1st and controller 2nd...
I'm really mad because I don't look for arcade sticks since I own GameSir C2, and it's not working on PS5 with SF6... I don't know what the problem is? Sony lack of software updates or Capcom is trying to force to buy dedicated stick...

I almost bought this but decided to wait. I’m going to Japan in a week and I’m going to try and shop around there. I don’t really know what to look for tbh honest though haha.
Make sure the area of the stick feels good for you and make sure you get to try out the different parts a stick comes with like Hayabusa vs Sanwa vs etc....

yeah I feel the same, the lack of compartment for the cable looks like a lazy effort by HORI but overall the fighting stick looks decent but 230 is way too much.
Agreed! For a little more, you can get a better made/quality stick with better parts.
Anybody have issues with the LSB button not working in games? I have the xbox x version, the guide button works nps, but LSB wont respond.
Sony licensing is always expensive. I feel we would all have better price point stick options if they weren't so high.
Qanba seems like the company to go with for licensing/overall quality/price IMO.

i got a mayflower elite 500 u can use with ps3, ps4, ps5 xbox et all, and pc. and it's got sanwa buttons for 100 bucks. it's got no place to put the cable though so that kinda sucks and it's a lot uglier.

It's only $230 because of the street fighter pic, the standard hori ps5 stick without the sf design is $30 cheaper

I just bought this as im tryin to get into SF6 and within few matches the joystick now inputs down twice or no input at all. Will have to return it, sadly :/
try changing input modes on the joystick. you may have went from xinput to dinput.
