      Sweet glad they went up. The 10hrs between charging is just too long. Shoot me a message if you’re ever in town.

      Their charger is a hundred and twenty degrees with a fan charging

    Ordered my freego x2 I have a 60v 5 amp for my kaboo wolf warrior scooter and was curious to know would be able to use the same fast charger and yes I will after seeing this video . Yes you’re right fast charging does affect the battery life down but because you’re using the smart charger the difference isn’t as bad because it going into trickle after 80 percent battery should last about 3 years before you see a significant difference

    Hey man have you looked into getting a bigger capacity battery? Maybe a custom built one?

      Not yet but I’d love to get a 40 or 50ah

    Well your handwriting looks better than mine. The affiliate link for the tire tubes is not the right one. It's set to the chain tensioner.

    When you fast charge, you use higher amps, higher amps, cause more heat, and degrade the metal and electrons held within. So buy charging at lower amps, this will not be the case, so much, and battery will last longer. A lot of people disagree, but the truth is if you charge at 1 amp or optimal amps for the battery, then you can almost get 3 times the life. But optimal properly built chargers are big money. My self I buy my last 2 bikes I got threw amazon because that way I was able to get asurion one coverage 16$ a month but any time battery dies or looses 20% of original power other yearly pritty much i file a clame get a replacement and still get to heep old as pair or to sell

      Thank for the info. when it comes to electronics, I found there’s always 100 different people with 100 different opinions on how it works and a lot of them are just speculating

    You also need to take regular multimeter and check battery voltage after it is fully charged by this charger... I have similar charger now on my 52v bike... and it shows wrong voltage and not charging full... 58.1 instead of 58.8...

    • @E_bikeDad
      @E_bikeDad  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I was going to do that but there are 6 slots on the bottom and didn't know where to start

    • @JustDoItPlus
      @JustDoItPlus หลายเดือนก่อน

      @E_bikeDad oh, it is 3 slots positive and 3 negative... they have it to make connection surface area bigger. You can chek on any of them

    You have to know what cells this bike uses. For example. I don't have the X2/21 MAX. but i do have the X21. It comes with a 3 Amp charger and the battery pack contains samsung 20S cells. Which like to be charged at 4 ampres. Higher and you shorten the life of the cells. So the moral of my argument was you have to know what calls and their charge current. Before just plugging 4,5,6 ampres charger or they may produce premature failure.

      This one has Samsung 16s cells I believe

    Hey do you have your manual? Can you check it to see if mentions needing to leave battery on when charging.
    Some youtube commenter said you need to leave the battery switch on when charging or the bms won't be on and it will just keep charging after full and destroy the battery etc. That a huge safety hazard so no way that'd the case but can you check manual. Thank you

      What, not fair lol yea mine is only 3amp. What do you think about that meter I got to install directly to the battery? I saw a guy do it on a x21 max.

    Your battery switch should be ON during charge... BMS should be active.

    • @E_bikeDad
      @E_bikeDad  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Are you sure the battery needs to be on? I thought that only switched the bottom plugs on and off.

    • @JustDoItPlus
      @JustDoItPlus หลายเดือนก่อน

      @E_bikeDad once it fully charged 67.2 with bms off, it will be 66.8 with bms On... You can try charge fully with Off position, and turn ON switch... You will see it will start charging balancing again. That's why you bike show you less voltage on screen, because it is not charged.

      @E_bikeDad  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Well, thanks for the knowledge, but that didn’t do anything. I just charged it with the power on same results.

      @E_bikeDad the problem could be in your "smart" charger. Next time try original one
