Sweet I’m amped up for you. It’s such a fun bike. I’ll keep the rides coming. I have an important brake video I’ll be making next week. Make sure you look out for it. I spend 3 hours looking for the problem and it was a 1 min. Fix I don’t want people to get stuck doing my mistakes.
Hey there EBD, mic 🎤 and camera position really good. We can see and hear clearly.👍 The vids you do on the X2/X21 Max are really enjoyable and always informative, when it comes to working, fixing and the little extras you chuck in about the bike..🚲 As always, be safe, stay lucky 🍀 and keep on posting.👌All the way from the uk 🇬🇧.😉
Now I could lie here like big channels do to there people but I’m going to tell you the truth. I hired an seo guy to change up my video descriptions, titles , and some links. I never understood that adding one word will 10x your exposure. The guy I hired on Fiverr gave me a whole PowerPoint on SEO and how my verbiage was hurting my change of getting found. It sound like a bunch of gibberish to me but it seems to be working. I don’t know if I told you this but, You have the video skills and your content is amazing. If you had some SEO help your channel would boom.
@@E_bikeDad hell yeah man keep it up! Getting cold up here so my vids are probably gonna slow down a little. Also appreciate the honesty! You’re right, most people wouldn’t admit to getting some advice and that takes guts. 👊
You can but yours are entertaining enough you probably have people watching longer than mine. Which is great for the algorithm. Email me if you need that SEO help I’ll send you the guy I used.
I’ve been watching a lot of your videos and I love them to be honest I hope more and more people find out about you. But I’m currently 17 and want to get an e-bike. I came across this bike and you’ve helped a lot. I just don’t want to be heckled by cops and go fast like a surron or talaria. Imma start mowing lawns and a lot of things to hopefully get one someday.
@@julianayala6165 thanks for watching. I had to sell a bunch of things to get this bike and set aside money for a few months to get this bike. If you put your Mind to it you’ll make it happen.
You and Cali Jewelz are the reason I pulled the trigger and ordered myself an X2. Kinda feel like those top name brands are overrated, like iPhones. Know what I mean? Keep the videos coming homie, they're are helping me. 👍🏾
Love your videos. Exactly the type of content I wanted to find and also the type of content I wanted to try to create around this bike once I was able to get a go pro and things. Unfortunately the weather here in Colorado is getting to the point where riding is gonna be a little hard but it’s still a blast. My only kinda complaints would be. The company has turning me off a little bit when it comes to their customer service and the way they speak to their customers but that is the only downside to this otherwise awesome bike.
Thanks for watching! I’m pretty much always alone so when I get comments like this, it makes me feel like people are riding along with me. I don’t think I’ve seen one E-bike channel that rides in the snow so don’t let the weather stop you. I think there’s some room for that kind of content. I work with a lot of other brands and customer service is always a hit or miss. But I do know that bad customer service will push away a lot of business. unfortunately this is a large purchase for a lot of people. that’s one of the reasons I started this channel lack of information. I think it’s a good product for people that are in the middle. there’s definitely a market for it. I started making these videos to inform people so they can make a clear decision on what they want. But no matter what I’m riding, the goal of this channel was to not feel like I was riding alone anymore. It’s a sad story, but I read the comments and see all the views and it makes me feel less alone.
@@E_bikeDad you are spot on with the loneliness factor when is comes to riding. I cant stress enough how fun it is to watch you rip around that campus. I’m doing the same thing here in Glenwood Springs Colorado. And the canyon surrounding us and I am loving every minute just wish I had at least a family like you that we could go on rides!!! That video was so cool! Love the content keep it up because I’m here for the long haul!! I also just wanted to ask? The videos and photos/specs I’ve seen for the Freego X2 Pro version of this bike as being not as good of quality in my opinion as the first models they released? Please let me know if I’m far off and what your thoughts on that are? It’s the same “specs” when it comes to controller battery, changer and motor. But the bike is heavier and the wiring all looks super cheap. You don’t get a shimano shifting system you only have a one gear? The frame is heavier, the technology looks cheap and rushed.
So I haven’t seen the bike until I do with my own eyes I can’t really give an official opinion. But from owning a couple bikes and what I can see online they have a lot of budget parts on the pro bike just to give people the speed that they’re asking for. I was told by somebody that the frame is only 6 pounds heavier, but on an e-bike I feel like that’s a good bit of weight. if I’m gonna add 6 pounds I would prefer it to be more battery. as far as the display, I’m excited that the plus and minus buttons are there because now we might be able to change some settings without buying extra parts. The quarter turn throttle is junk big part of that cool factor is having a full twist throttle. I’m ok with the single gear. It makes sense more clearance. You don’t have to worry about the derailer. And I never pedal my bike. I’m thinking of taking off my derailer and shortening my chain so that I don’t have to buy a single gear. I’ll just leave it on one of the existing sprockets. All the specs are the same controller motor battery those components that make the bike work have not changed from what I can see. The companies manager responded to a comment I made on there earlier videos of it, and he verified the specs of the same.
This ride is on the stock tires? I was concerned the stock knobbies wouldnt be any good on paved surfaces and didnt see an option to order the bike with street tires.
@E_bikeDad I found the ekx x21 max, same bike as the freego x2 for $2144 out the door but could save even more with a promo code. Do you know anyone with a promo code?
Mine is in MPH if you got yours in KPM there’s no way to switch it without buying a new wire harness for your controller and a Bluetooth dongle for the harness and then reprogramming.
@@EvilsbaneDarkspearUS depending on your screen, you should have an advanced settings, in there you can adjust all kinds of stuff including imperial/metric. Ok thx man! I have the ekxbike but I don't have ANY options or buttons that I can find. Do you have a video of how to access this menu? Love the vids man keep them coming!
Yes, I did take them off in my shop one time but I think it looks weird without him like just seeing the battery exposed didn’t look good so I put them back on. If you feel their vibrating and making a noise, put a rubber washer between the frame and the panel.
@@eyeamchangegaming5412 it reminds me of my Talaria with the side panels off. The battery is sealed. Remove them and it gives it a good angle getting rid of that unusual shape side panel.
I like the neck camera. I don't know how comfortable it is for you but we can see the speedometer better anyway. That's a real bummer about the wheel. I don't know what you can do about that maybe buy a new one ? As long as it's working I guess you can just leave it alone.
Yea the neck mount is definitely the best angle it takes a lot of weight of my helmet too. i’m cool with just bending it back into shape. I’m worried about longevity if a small curve did that much damage.
@@way_kcb that’s because of the position. most of my ride I have it on my T-shirt so it’s slapping my camera mount. The mic still has more clarity than a lot of people that video their rides. And after a certain speed, you’re not gonna hear very well unless it’s inside the helmet. I made the mistake of putting in my helmet on a previous video and all you hear is me breathing lol.
