LOL yea thats one thing Ive always noticed - you tend to pick up and choose reload speed over damage levels during normal level ups

Hey Cub, they fixed the explosive builds. They made the effects alot more bearable, where you can actually see what your doing. Also if you pick the "explosive damage terrain" overclocks, you can pretty much clear 100% of the level from every rock, resource and meta resources. Its wild. And the damage is now even better. You should absolutely give it a try.

Interested in your thoughts on Pickled Nitra. I tend to avoid because after a certain point the movement speed loss becomes too detrimental if I try to max it out, and if I end up picking movement speed buffs to compensate, I’m trading away all my other options.

I feel like pickled nitra is basically always worth it IF you don't go overboard. I always just spend all nitra until the final stage, where I then pick up as much as I can without getting to below about -10% move speed (a lot of the time I can actually pick all nitra on the final stage, sometimes I leave one vein)

For gaining meta progression, I personally prefer the engineer and make sure the starter turret has mines nearby walls and the increased fire rate and lower accuracy and with plasma as a plus.

I lost on the loot bug level. Had 10 loot bugs in one corner and the flyer boss behind me. I couldn’t drill the loot bugs fast enough to escape.
