Luv the vibrant colours,I might be off base but it reminds me of brut art or should I say outsider art.But then again fauve art subject matter is all much different.

The colors are not to be considered "violent". "Accuracy" and realism has nothing to do with this. The camera is the reason for the innovations in paintings around this time.
