OK. So I completely agree with your thoughts on the growth of Keyframe. Being able to save multiple Keyframes is quintessential! And not have to be in the EXACT same location as you were when you saved it. More control over each Keyframe in some sort of post editing feature like on a waypoint map would also be a very good and almost necessary feature. Great tutorial! Thank you. I hope to try this out with my S2 non + soon!
it would be interesting if the drone would be able to follow the beacon during the "free look" mode... i am flying RC planes and that would be the perfect feature for taking footages without any help
This is very interesting but to set up keyframes do you first have to fly the drone through that exact flight path?? Which I guess it wouldn’t be As smooth and then while you’re flying it you just set up your keys??
excellent video! is it possible to use this indoors? Some have claimed that it is impossible because indoors GPS is often not available, could you show in video how to use waypoints indoors? (for example inside a house with several floors etc)
Did you ever do a comparison video between DJI drones and Skydio drones? Skydio's Waypoints seem to be what DJI users miss so much. But what about camera quality? Do Skydio's cameras live up to DJI standards? Would be great to have such a video in case there isn't one yet. Thank you!
exactly what I would need, if YES IF Skydio would open up for the European market.... I would even buy one via an American friend and let it ship here. Only need to know if it will work here
So you can only save and replay one keyframe/weighpoint mission? I was really excited until I heard that. It's a deal breaker. What do you tell your second client. "Sorry I have to wait for a year to finish this project before I can program and fly yours?" What were you thinking Skydio?
Thanks for this video. I’m in Italy. I try to ask you a question even if I know how to be off-topic and I apologize. So: the Skydio 2+ has finally arrived. I charge the battery, turn on the drone, unload the app and ... ... magically my iPhone 8pus does not see the drone's Wi-Fi network. Could it have been otherwise? Obviously not. I have searched all possible forums but have not found anything that can help me. I bought the starter kit. Drone Battery Bag Replacement Propellers. Again this morning I tried everything but nothing to do. The iPhone does not see the Wi-Fi of the drone. I also tried with an IPhone 13. But… .. nothing. Could you help me? Or someone from the community? I read on a forum that the Skydio 2+ uses 5.8 Ghz Wi-Fi. Not compatible with phones sold in Europe. Honestly don't think so of that. I wait patiently for help. Thanks and sorry again for my post. I've seen the video you made entirely and agree with your conclusions. Who wouldn't be? Hello and thanks for everything. Paul
Hey Billy, excellent explanation and testing of keyframes. Too bad at this time, you're unable to save several keyframes missions. Hopefully, they will allow this with a software upgrade from the onboard sd card in the future. Again, thank you for this detailed and well-done video! Take Care.
It's simple, if you need to fly through buildings, woods or similar, choose KeyFrame, otherwise choose Waypoints. Both KeyFrame and Waypoints are different and not interchangeable.
I read a review that stated the keyframe was lost if you had to change out the battery, but you state that one keyframe can be saved. Is it possible to save the keyframe, and come back several days later to run the same path?
I'm selling my skydio now. No trade in for existing customers is so rude. this drone isn't very reliable to begin with as skydio lied about every stat of the drone. Range is terrible amd connectivity is a joke
@@cheekys.o.b804 if you need range, it’s ok, you have bought the wrong drone, happens that for me is enough, previously to buy my Skydio I known that the range is not the best on Skydio but I obtain another exclusive features with this drone, you can see on my channel.

Nice video Billy. Full of information and no fluff.
Loving this whole series brother.
Lots planned for KeyFrame.... As always, this is just the beginning!
But will you end up making it be able to set up waypoints on a map and have it follow it? I think would be a neat additional feature!
@@Okie-Tom exactly! I concur!
What an amazing feature!

Great Video Billy. Thank You.
Your a great supporter of many channels. 👊👍 Even though you have no videos, I added you. 🌞
Thanks Billy. You convinced me...We're buying one.

Amazing tech. Makes me wanna get one now! Thanks for the superbly explained video Billy!

Great now I want a Skydio
:)
I have one for sale in maryland

I flew my skydio 2 today and update with keyframes nowhere to be found?
Thanks for sharing!! Just subscribed!
Motion tracking, looping, and higher speed would be great additions to keyframe.
If the drone loses signal with the phone will it complete the course ?? Or abort and RTH ??

Great video. Thanks.
Another great Billy Kyle video.
Do you have any idea when they ship to Europe?

How tight of an area can the drone fly into using key frame? Window? Door?
Excellent video Billy. My next drone is going to be Skydio
Maybe a double door. I think it's the same as in another mode.
Hi, the kyfreme is an emplementation software for the Skydio2 or only for the Skydio 2+? Thankyou for all
wonderful, but... I dont know why the update doesnt appear on my phone
Can you still do Traditional map waypoint.
Please make a link where you can download raw video shot in different conditions on Skydio 2+

Excellent
So question how does it actually work u fly the drone and create the waypoints or what like how did u get the waypoints I’m new to any of this
great video

Does the signal with this allow you to fly 5 miles away like you did with the Mavic 3?
Skydio2+ range is up to 6k with the controller
Aight, so my next drone is gonna be the skydio

Yes, the latest recording KeyFrames will not lose. You can keep the latest one set of frames but yap only the last one set.
Never hear from you, that DJI sw needs to be pushed up, so why here?
how would this work inside structures, like warehouses?
Perfect
Price?
DJI needs something like this!
so no better camera? no foldable arms ? just software upgrade? o.0
Range was upgraded, & battery is higher cap.
Good to see you DJI gone from us
So...not waypoints, but recording a path and replying it.

Why, they added this feature to the 2 version, also you can use the new batteries in the 2 version… what’s the problem?
@@DRONIXAR range and connectivity sucks on the s2 but they released it anyway. Just leaves me feeling burned that they did this after I have a s2

So, 6K is not enough! Here in the US, that is well beyond line of sight. Tell us more about your complaints. Be more specific, please.
@@karthurjr 6k is a lot :). I can fly like I enjoy with 1k
Bro send me one piece skyduo 2 plus .. i m from india
