I just don't understand why he is so reluctant to see his son. I get he's a bit scared because he potentially feels he let his son down, and he's always been harsh on him, but you can't avoid him forever.

I cant trust alivebur it feels like its a trap to trust him and when the time comes that trap will be triggered, idk it just feels like he's trying to manipulate everyone.
I think it goes to show that it's just as hard for the viewers to trust him as for the characters. I mean, what secret plan could he have? But I gotta wonder what would happen if Dream and Wilbur met.

Why do I get a worried feeling that all the forgiveness that he's trying to give to everyone will all be in vain once him and Dream meet (let alone he will find out that his "Hero" escape prison now)

Everything c!Wilbur has done, every apology he's made just feels like a trap for some reason. Everytime he apologizes to someone it feels like he doesn't actually mean it. Like he's just saying the things he does not because he means it but because he wants them to trust him again. And even then he still won't apologize to the two people who need it most. His son and c!Tommy.
