Tbh tho I appreciate Wilburs grind to make it up to Fundy I don't think he deserves Fundy's forgiveness either. Wilbur had completely forgotten all about Fundy even after he was revived he had no intention of trying to help Fundy until the last minute. Until the minute too late. I can tell Fundy is definitely going to go down a dark path maybe even following some of Wilbur's footsteps by causing destruction to the server. I'm really excited to see that if it happens because I think he plans on killing off his last canon life soon.

Here's my two cents of like dissecting this stream cause I love character interactions so yeah. open to other interpretations though !!
People in the chat being sad that Fundy is pushing Wilbur away (both not seriously obviously) is understandable, and it's even more so since we see through Wil's perspective of how painful and harsh it is; His speech of not needing anyone from that point of view sounds selfish and isolating. Even though their reunion isn't picture perfect, it was at least happy until the bitter end. And we know from Wilbur that he at least has good intentions on trying to amend his relationship with his son.
But does that fix the years of negligence and loneliness Fundy had to go through? No. Should he believe in Wilbur's words promising to be a better father figure and staying? No. Like Fundy states, every time he has the hopes of family, being united with friends, working so hard to maintain it, it all just falls apart and he's left in the ruins to pick up the broken pieces. So why should he believe that this time with Wilbur will be any different? The tragedy might be that it could with Wilbur's slow change of heart since his revival, given just a little more patience, work, and hope. The thing is Wilbur had his chances when he was alive. And yet it took death (and Eret arranging their meeting) to finally take it. By then, it was already too late. Fundy has lost his hope, where the idea that everything never lasts and will always be taken away proven right over and over again. In the end, you can't blame Fundy for wanting nothing with Wilbur. It's justified from his perspective; Better to cut off ties from people who simply won't care, who won't treat/appreciate you with the same commitment you offer. Of course, taking a darker turn with losing all care and hope for anyone.
Fundy taking his life in front of Wilbur is tragic, but I see it as a message (not to say losing a life always has to be); It's like a motif of how Wilbur left his life without a trace and leaving Fundy in the dark, struggling to find out *why.* So what makes Fundy different is that he stays to give his reasons, a counter to Wilbur's cowardice. Those reasons simply being with their relationship, it was never meant to be.

I have a theory in my head that so when Fundy lost his first life it was because of Eret's betrayal, now if I'm not mistaken about what I heard Eret (or Eric I'm not English so I don't understand much) he told Wilbur that Niki would be here and he met Fundy and took his own life ...... but Eret didn't think it was just a coincidence
Eret told Wilbur Niki would be at Pogtopia because they wanted Wilbur to apologize to Fundy and she knew Fundy had been going there often
They did not think however that Fundy would be so overwhelmed he would Off himself
Eret was planning to adopt Fundy but Phil had called it off and she ended up sleeping in
Eret cares for Fundy and wanted Fundy to be happy and finally have peace with his father
But unfortunately she didn’t know Fundy was going to jump

Deaths like falling, explosion, struck by lightning and other Minecraft deaths on *accident*, you don't lose a canon life.
(ex. When *Dream* exploded himself when he finds Tommy's stash of items.
*Tommy* getting struck to death by lightning after Doomsday war.)
But some blooper accidents deaths can be canon.
(ex. Jschlatt during the Red Festival or Tubbo's execution. Although Quackity *didn't lose* a canon life, even though he also died from Techno's fireworks, it was never confirmed if he lose a canon life or not.)
Cause the canon lives system works like this.
-If it's lore or scripted
(ex. *Jschlatt* dies from a heart attack,
*Wilbur* dies when Phil stabs him.
*Skeppy* dies when BBH pushed him into lava.)
-If the creator confirms.
(ex. *Phil* confirms he only has 1 canon life left. Even tho we never see him died before.)
