Excellent tutorial on assembling pool whale! I have been using a pool whale for 3 summers for my aboveground pool. Love it! Does a great job in sucking up fine debris and leaves, etc.

Did you happen to notice if you had smaller particles or algae dust still settle at the bottom of the pool again after vacuuming, that had gone through the bag?
I’m having this EXACT same problem and I am struggling with finding a resolution. It’s like the vacuum just picks it up and redistributes it throughout the pool
@@BrittanyRicketts2005try adding a skimmer sock, or a knee high panty hose, anything nylon inside the main bag. You can zip tie or just tie it off at the top, then seal the main bag. It'll all go inside the nylon sock. I have skimmer socks, for my skimmer, and they work great for this. Even a thick tube sock would probably work. You'll be amazed at what it pulls out, and it's easier to keep the main vac bag cleaner too! :)
There are pool flocculants for exactly these scenarios. They make algae and other tiny particles and pellicles glued in bigger "flakes", and you can filter them out easily. After that, time to clean that cartridge.

Still had some Algae dust that would settle a bit 👍🏽
