- Following on from my '12 POSITIVES of Spinal Fusion' Video, this video outlines some of the negatives I have faced following the surgery.
I had my surgery 9 years ago now so this video is from my experience over this time!

I need to find your list of positives, because this is a lot of negatives --- pain is the watchword. Pain in many situation on a daily basis, Taking painkillers for the last 9 years, as I understand it . Difficulty standing in one place, doing anything for long, it seems like. This all sounds rough. I need to find your list of positives asap. I am a candidate for fusion due to scoliosis and am finding this discouraging. Not to mention the restrictions of movement which you don't really go into.

thank you! I actually forgot about this one! I guess it's because I have adapted to it now! But yes, this is very important and I will be making a video about this soon as it impacts us constantly throughout the day! Thank you for highlighting this!
@@sarahlouise4066 interesting! i mean i've adapted physically (well, because i have to), but emotionally getting use to the limitations is the hardest part for me. excited to hear more of your journey💕

@@artninjapr8310 Glad I am not the only one who fell into this rabbit hole of watching youtube scoliosis surgery testimonials unendingly. Proper research is key to knowing whether the operation is worth it or not.
I am wondering if you have made your final decision yet Creative art PR? If you are not in significant pain and your curve is not worsening all that badly, I suggest trying schroth and part time bracing instead of surgery.
Zero benefits to surgery.dont ever do it
