    Heidi really hit the nail on the head with the importance of bile flow to overcome chronic SIBO and improving detoxification....BRAVO!!!

    I suffered for a long time with alot of bloating, cramps, burping, and more. It had a huge impact on my social life and mental health. I had a breath test, and it showed l was fructose intolerant, and that l had sibo. Spent a lot of dollars with my natropath. I did lowfod maps and fasting, tried many different tintures and pro biotics, etc. Eventually my doctor recommended a colonoscopy and gastroscopy to rule out anything nasty. He said a colonoscopy can sometimes reset the gut. My tests came back fine. My doctor recommended pancreatic enzymes and swedish bitters and to stay on lowfod map for a while to see if they help. I stopped lowfod map diet because it was getting me down. Im no longer taking enzymes on a regular basis and completely stopped the swedish bitters and lm doing ok. Im now eating all foods again. Occasionally l still have some minor bloating but its tolerable. I do believe the colonoscopy actually did reset my gut. I think it was 2 weeks after the colonoscopy that my gut improved by 90% and l stated eating and enjoying my food again.
    I believe my issues always start when l consume too much sugar.

      It's probably the prep for the colonoscopy that resets your gut.

    It may not be “that easy” there may be H.pylori infections, parasites, mold, Lyme, vitamin deficiencies, etc. ALL in which need to be addressed FIRST! As the root cause so you can actually fix the problem…..

    Why are you not addressing the poisons the powers that be have put into our foods to cause our digestive systems to become weak. This is the foundation of all that you are talking about. Unfortunately we cannot heal completely until this is addressed. Our foods are poisonous to our systems.

    • @JayRayOfficial

      This one! We should address the root cause before taking dozens of supplements to "fix" the cause.

    I'm a new subbie, how can we tell between food allergies and food intolerances? I've not done any tests and don't plan to just trying to understand my body. I wish I had Heidi Turner near me!

    • @DrRuscioDC
      @DrRuscioDC  14 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Intolerances are somewhat less severe than allergies but can be pretty devastating. Generally, an allergy involves the immune system and an intolerance does not (mostly GI symptoms)

    I live in SE Asia where none of this is discussed. Doctors here arebt aware of ghings like lactose ir gluten intolerance. Sugar is in everything here and food us nade with crappy oils and other horrible ingredients. As a result my diet is constricted, otherwise, Im ill. Really gets me down . Getting supplements is feru difficult as customs doesn't always allow them into the country. Any advice? I have GERD, IBS , diagnosed back In the UK. i think I may have histamine intolerance as Ive been diagnosed here with asthma and been given antihistamines and an inhaler. When I eat I have a runny nose I often have post nasal drip too.

      @DrRuscioDC. Yes Swedish bitters it's good. However I feel that my liver didn't like it. Maybe the the dose size is important. Apple Cider vinegar or fresh lemon juice can be helpful, taken the same way a generous dash in warm water.

      Chanca Piedra (Phyllanthus niruri), commonly known as the “stone breaker,” is a tropical plant with a long history of use in traditional medicine. Native to the Amazon rainforest and other tropical areas, it has been widely used for its potential health benefits, especially for kidney and gallbladder health. (ChatGPT)

    I am disappointed in this information because it seems like there’s a hundred things to try and try and try and try. And it is all trial and error over and over. Exactly what I have been doing with my naturopathic doctor for over a year. There are sooooo many things to try that this could take years and years. I know I am getting NO WHERE! Yes I am broke with all the supplements….. severe bloating and burning stomach with bowel movement everyday but definitely constipation. Definitely slow motility and doctor test says leaky gut. So who can help?

      Some of the time our mysterious health issues might have to do with hyperoxaluria (certainly is for me), where the body has trouble eliminating oxalates. So when oxalates are not causing kidney stones, they circulate in the bloodstream, and can lodge in the joints, gut/motility, brain, eyes, etc. Look into Sally K. Norton's work. She is the world expert on this topic. Best wishes for your recovery.
